Passable

It was clean. Free continental breakfast.

No paper cups in room. Toilets were too low. Non smoking room smelled smokey. The heat was extremely noisy and didn't work well.

I would recommend this place for anyone to stay for their getaway.

The hotel was in a great area. It was minutes from things to do and there were plenty of places to go and eat. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean and quiet. The rooms had everything you needed in them.

Don't do it

Location was fine. Breakfast was minimal--dry cereal, mini muffins. Coffee was hot. Biggest issue: room was gross. Dingy, thin sheets, uncomfortable mattresses, sticky old carpet. There were burn marks on the mini fridge, a burn hole on the bed linens, cracked bathroom tiles, beat up walls. It stank like cleaner, even after airing out. We almost walked on 300 bucks just to get out of this dump.

could’ve been worse-stayed for cheaper up there with same conditions

close to things we wanted to do

too close to highway-really needs some upgrades. Bathroom had old tube lights that were half burned out-carpeting was old. no cover in thermostat-missing smoke detector.

We were very glad to be able to stay there on such short notice.

Location was great. Breakfast was fine, and a nice surprise. We didn't think there was breakfast included. Beds were comfy. We came to PA for a funeral and were able to book the room the day before.

The room smelled musty when we first walked in. The floor behind the beds was dusty.

A gem

This is an old school motel that has been well maintained and well managed. Our room was quiet, clean and comfotratble. All systems work well, and the staff is wonderful. Plus, compared to other local options, it's reasonably priced.

Do not stay here! Don’t waste your money!

Nothing!

Dirty, Dusty, Dried stains on the bed, food stain on night stand! Bathroom and overall room was unclean! Sleep in your car before you sleep here!

Very satisfied & appreciate the great value

Nice clean, spacious room, with handy fridge & microwave- comfy beds. Great grab & go breakfast- nice selection, good coffee!

Superb

The staff was very nice and the room is clean and tidy. It is an old-school motel. Do not expect a modern hotel. But it is cute. It is very close to Jim Thorpe and has stores and restaurants right by it.

Mixer valve on shower did not work properly - could not take shower without burning self.

Nice place to stay

Staff was friendly and location was great.

Many other people in the hotel were outside at all hours with little children being extremely loud. There’s no great view of anything. The two diners practically next door were dirty and outdated.

Over priced

This hotel was close to an appointment I had booked for early the next morning. The hotel offered a decent selection of grab and go breakfast items.

The nightly price of this hotel was more than twice it’s worth. The back parking area was poorly lighted. Pillows and blanks were very basic.
