Location was perfect. They thought of everything for the guest. The cabin was very cozy and just perfect for 2 people.
Only complaint I have was that the resort is under quite a bit of construction and we were not able to access the water. Because of that, the cabin I initially booked was downgraded to a smaller one. Even though I loved the cabin we were in, I was traveling with my son and we had only one bed. So having a couch or extra bed would have been nice.

The location was perfect and the staff extremely accommodating. We felt welcome and the rooms were perfect for what we were locking for.
The proximity to the popular bar/restaurant meant there was alot of traffic on the water. However, we got free live music out of it so its a fair trade :)

My family and I had so much fun! We loved everything from the poolside rooms, renting a pontoon, and the nightlife was amazing. Thank you for an unforgettable and amazing place.

The property is well maintained and very clean.
I was disappointed in the location. I had never been to Lake of the Ozarks so I did not know how developed everything is. I was thinking I would be in a more rural setting, able to walk in the woods and sit by the lake. The only places to sit outside were community areas. This may well be the case at any hotel in the area, I just didn't realize what I was getting. There is a large restaurant across the lake that plays very loud honky tonk music from about 4 p.m. into the late night. The facilities are older, but very well maintained and clean. Our room had two queen beds, but the bathroom has a small shower and one vanity with a mirror, so it's pretty much one person at a time. There is a state park a few miles away where you can enjoy a more peaceful setting.

The room was clean, comfortable and enough linens. Only saw staff when we went to office, very pleasant lady. Watching the boats go by very relaxing. Deer popped thier heads out at odd times of day, so cute, so nerve wrecking. Just watch out for them on your approach down sunset drive.
Wasn't prepared for how steep the terrain is. We were on a motorbike. Seems like you had to go uphill to go downhill!. Twp flights of steps upward to get to the pool,( which we had all to our selves) I am assuming the end of season was nigh. Could see the bar/resturant just across the canal but in order to get there safely you had to drive, annoying, maybe a little water taxi to the other side would be worth considering. We would ished for a quietly break....that's what we got. Recomend visiting the Bridal Caves. Very informative guides.

The view of the lake was awesome. We had a king size bed that was very comfortable. Located near everything we needed.
The weather was hot and humid. Mid July is hot. But it was 102-105. We are a retired couple,, it is a very rough to get around resort. Lots of stairs that we were not aware of.

This little cabin was nice, clean, and enjoyable to stay in as a couple. Clean little cabin just enough for a couple. We enjoyed our stay.
Only thing I can say would be the bed wasn't too comfy but most places is not like your own bed at home.

Sunset Beach Resort is a great little place to stay. I am on my 4th stay with them as I travel for work. The room/studio is always spotless and smells great! A nice quiet place to stay. I love that I don’t have to worry about walking down hallways to get into and out of my room. As long as I am working and staying in the Osage Beach area for work this is where I will stay. Kathleen the manager is always so kind willing to work with my crazy check-in and check-out times! A great place that I can’t recommend enough!

super cute and simple if you’re looking to enjoy the outside more than in ! within walking distance to Backwater and I LOVED the doc access with a swim beach.

Lake front property
There needs to have an ac in the bedroom and double pane windows, to drown out the bar across the cove, windows cheap!

Very clean. Supplied with everything a person would need. Staff was great. Watching the boats and duck's on the water was impressive.

They do not provide meals, but there are some great restaurants close to the resort and Backwater Jack's is right across the cove. We had the pool to ourselves pretty much all week.
The only problem we had was the horse flies that occasionally pestered us by the pool. Everything else was great! We definitely will be staying again, possible as an annual family trip.

The lake access was fantastic with the ladder, shallow end to wade out!
The view was beautiful!
Kids loved the pool as well!
The ability to rent a pontoon, paddle board, kayak, etc was a great plus!!
