The staff was awesome.
The room i was put in smelled like cat urine. I'm assuming it was some kind of mold.
Then there was Carlos. I was relaxing in my room on the second night when someone tried getting in my room with a key. We informed that person that they had the wrong room. They left but then about 10 minutes later tried again. We again informed him that he had the wrong room. He left again but about 10 minutes later he was back AGAIN. This time though, he had managed to get our door open with his key! I'm assuming he told the front desk that that was his room and they gave him a key to it as later i tried mine and it didn't work anymore. Anyways, i tried getting him to go to the front desk with me but something was wrong with him, like it seemed like he was drunk but not quite? I went to the front desk alone and my friend stayed in the room. When the ladies from the front desk and I got back to the room, the fella was passed out on my bed, bare bottom in the air. The ladies called the police to assist in getting him out of my room(he had a room there, just not that room.) He had a couple seizures while on my bed and left in an ambulance, so it may have been a good thing he broke into my room. Throughout all this, we had to wait in the hallway for quite awhile while it was sorted out and couldn't access our room. I asked for a different room since the fella had his bare bottom on the bed and they did oblige. The second room didn't smell as bad as the first but there was still an odor to it. Didn't use the jacuzzi (we originally paid for a jacuzzi room so it wasn't an upgrade) because we were nervous about having our room broke into again, so that money was wasted. I was told to call the following Monday and speak to the manager about a comp because the ladies at the desk felt super bad but there was nothing they could do. I called, and received a $10 off coupon if i should ever decide to stay there again.....

The staff was amazing and the room was spacious. I enjoyed walking over to the store inside office to purchase items I forgot to pack. I will definitely book again.
The place does need updated, but I like it being a secret treasure retreat for those not looking to be too fancy. Not much I didn't like.

Location is not bad.
I strongly recommend everyone to think twice about staying in this hotel. The smell in the corridors is an exceptionally horrendous mix of cigarette smoke, weed, and some sort of cleaning spray. Tragically, that was only the start. Our room was a three-fold amplification of the smell and I was today-years-old when I learnt the unspeakable levels of stench people can tolerate to live in.
Furthermore, the ground floor rooms share a common outside grass area. The door to this area is a simple slide-door with no locking mechanism that can easily be opened from the outside at any point in time. This made us feel unsecure and we were uneasy leaving valuables in our room.
We decided to stay at this hotel due to a budget, but I'm telling you it's not worth it.

Yvonne was such a sweetheart, very protective of me when an intoxicated customer approached me, and was very helpful and accommodating all night even considering I was extremely manic and couldn’t sleep.
my phone didn’t work, and unfortunately (no fault of the establishment) the lobby had to be cordoned off bc someone crashed into it.

The jacuzzi was nice. The shower was spacious. The bed enormous. Honestly we stayed there because it was the last hotel in the area that had a jacuzzi in the room on New Years Eve.
It could have been better maintained. The jacuzzi and bed were dirty. The furniture were moments away from falling apart. Only two pillows on a king size bed seemed minimalist at best.

The price was reasonable and the room was big.
I requested non smoking room and the room was filled with smoke. The lady at the front desk was ok to change the room but it was a bit better but was still the same with smoke. That made our stay uncomfortable. The room needs some dusting and the shower needs cleaning.

Location was good.
Continental breakfast was dry cereal which was pulled before we got there. There wasn't even hot water for tea.
Had to kick door near frame to enter room as well as closing door. Needed a very hard pull to leave room. Toilet & hot tub were dirty. They did clean when told. No smoking hotel however tub and top cover of bed had burn holes and entire hotel smelled of smoke. During night, people were jostling door to hall and to patio door. There was evidence that walls as well as showers were not properly cleaned as I saw streaks and splatter marks. Entrance to office had a ramp then a step up. It was not a straight ramp to building, it turned. Had there been a yellow paint line to show the turn in the ramp, I would not have fallen on the cement.
