Breakfast was ok, liked the location for restaurants & shopping, & was close to get to the wedding on Saturday.
Just the doors on the rooms banged as people were coming & going. Quite loud.

The location to Idlewild was great. The grandkids got a good breakfast, and were able to swim in the pool.
The beds were just ok. It's an older Motel, but fairly well kept up. The price could be a little better.

We liked the location.
There were so many things wrong at the property. First, check-in is at 3. We were there at 3 and they weren’t even ready. The staff told us because they had to large of an accommodation group that didn’t check out until 12-1. Next, we didn’t have wash cloths, soap, shampoo or conditioner in our room. The pool had a lot of debris in it and there weren’t any clean pool towels. Third, our pillow had other human hair on it when we went to bed. Last, we were to have connecting rooms and that was not an accommodation either. We were so disappointed. When letting the staff know when checking out, he basically brushed off the complaints.

The hot water tank kept up with our family doing multiple hot showers and baths! The room was clean and always stocked with fresh towels and wash cloths and soap. There was plenty of room in our double queen bed room.
The hallway on the 2nd floor smelled very heavy with a musty deep smell. The stairwell smelled strong of a musty odor.

Did not get breakfast. Like location.
I have M.S. and need a high toilet and a walk in shower,

It’s close to the Centre of town, Fort Ligonier and Idlewild
Bathroom was average , tv was smaller and was not able to get a meal for dinner (No staff :) but that’s everywhere!

Rooms clean. Breakfast was good
Pool was dirty. Restaurant closed but still advertising and flyers in the rooms. TV didn’t work. Asked three times for them to come check it. No one ever showed

The location, the bed was very comfortable and what little interaction I had with the staff, they were nice
Shower head would not adjust, Wi-Fi was sketchy at best (needed for a conference call), so called breakfast was non existent on Thursday, on Friday, with an hour in a half left, all hot food was empty and no attendant was available. Only one luggage cart for all guests. This place has run down terribly since our last stay 3 years ago, caulk breaking apart in shower, security door doesn’t latch let alone lock. Probably won’t use this location again, which is sad cause it’s right in the middle of everywhere we visit while here ☹️☹️☹️

The bed was quite comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The overall facilities would benefit from a refresh. They seem dated and a bit worn.

location & affordability
room & the entire hotel needs updating. It's a bit dark and the room needs a little deep cleaning. Find some corners & Aircon filter very dusty.

Location
Needs updated
Advertised restaurant on premises, but it was closed. When we asked at the desk the clerk was unable to say if the restaurant was open and she wouldn’t say when it would reopen! Very strange. Only one of the clerks we encountered was friendly and helpful. There is only ONE luggage cart for the entire hotel!

We liked our breakfast and the room/beds were nice.
We had a lot of trouble getting to our room from Johnstown. What should have taken 20-30 minutes ended up taking 2 hours. This was not a good experience. Otherwise, the town of Ligonier seemed like it would be a nice place to visit longer.

nothing
They advertise that there’s a restaurant on sight. it’s closed. It smells bad. Them at the front desk after we checked in they put up a sign stating there would be a $50.00 cleaning charge to clean the room. I wouldn’t recommend it or ever stay again.

Room was clean and bed comfortable. Hotel within walking distance of stores and restaurants.
Upon entering hotel smells musty and like strong cigarettes. Our original reservation was messed up and couldn't get the room we requested.

Met expectations and was great overall.
The bathroom tub plug wasn't working and was filthy inside.

Location right in the heart of Ligonier Days! Festival all around us so was able to walk from hotel. Parking lots all o er the place starting at $10.
You could hear the people next to us up all night. The hotel was tired looking. Clean but paint peeling off in bathroom plus at the elevator. Breakfast not served for free due to the festival going on so we had to find a place. Otherwise it was $12 a person. Pricey and probably due to festival...$200 for the night

the location is amazing!
The entire room needs updated along with the bathroom. The rooms look a little dirty and very cheap.
2.5
Location. Staff was nice. Decent free breakfast but coffee cups were extremely small.
It's an older building. Noise levels are poor. Shower on/off handle was missing. Parking is poor if it's a crowded time. Mold traces in the shower. Room prices were too high because all the other local hotels were full, so this was my only option. It wasn't worth the cost.
3.5
Friendly staff and great location. The beds were very comfortable.
The lobby is nice but the rooms are in poor condition. There was water damage on the bathroom walls and it looked old and had a musty smell.

Great location, very friendly staff (especially Mark), very spacious room, and comfortable beds.
cleanliness was lacking.
4.5
The room was very clean and smelled fresh. Loved the comfortable bed - great bed linens. Best free breakfast options of any hotel I've seen. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Only thing I wish they had was a little more room for the bathroom sink counter. But there really isn't any more space for a bigger counter. Maybe a shelf??
