Excellent motel, stunning views over the lake and very clean.

The room isnt very spacious and has limited room for large suitcases

The owner and manager was incredibly welcoming, told us all we need to know, then truly lets you be unless you need anything. The Inn backs up to Lake Seneca, so the views are beautiful. We were close to everything we wanted to do there - hiking, wineries, and restaurants. Just lovely!

Numerous thoughtful personal touches by owners. Hosts were attentive but not intrusive. Was everything we were hoping it would be.

The rooms were very clean! The bed was nicely made and comfortable. The room was very cottage decorated which was very nice. I especially liked the personal touches like China cups for tea and coffee, magazines and books to read. The view of Seneca Lake was very nice.

Room was beautifully decorated. Gas fire was on. Music playing from the TV. Tea cup on the bed with two kinds of tea bags. Very welcoming. Great value!!!
The frig happened to be too cold and froze our salads. But if we had known that, we could have turned it back. Some would prefer to be closer to Watkins Glen, but we preferred the 15 mile drive for the great price!

property was very cute, felt homey and it was spotless ! was a great place to stay
showers were super small and it would be beneficial to have a sign before the driveway since it comes out of no where

The scenery was beautiful from sunrise to sunset. The place was very clean and cute. It was quiet and a more private small motel compared to the ones I have been in. Great location right in the middle of the wineries.
I didn't like the no contact with anyone if we needed anything. It was just straight texting which seemed not personable. The owner's son did say hello and talked with us for a bit which was very nice and gave us an opener to borrow while we were staying. The check in and check out times seemed a bit unfair. 4pm seems too late for me and 10am is a little early. We arrived early because I confirmed it, but no one would answer us for about 45 minutes with a text for our number and passcode.

Responsive staff (never met them - everything by text message). Facilities very good for the price.
WiFi - connected first night OK, but neither of us could connect at all after that on the default service (staff allowed us to connect via a different service).
Bring your own coffee!

The personal touch made to the room to welcome us was a really well thought out, it was just delightful entering the room. Check in was easy (provided through sms/text), and it's keyless (pretty modern for an inn!). Great location just by Seneca Lake, great wineries around and 15 min drive away from Lake Keuka. I particularly liked the little patio for each room which allowed us to have some food and chill outside of the room. The son of the property also set up a fire place at the side of the inn which allowed guests to hang out and chit chat in the evening, we enjoyed ourselves.
Communication through text was pretty rude. We asked if they could allow us for an extension for check out (11am) as we have a work call to take. They told us that it costs $25/hr or part of an hour. We then thought that it was unnecessary (we just needed a quiet place to take a call) hence told them we will leave the room by 10. We sat at the chairs outside of the inn to take the call and at around 10.30am, someone (never know who it was - I believe it wasn't a part of the family running the inn) then sent a pretty unfriendly message saying that "you are still there despite what you told me." I explained to her that we have nothing left in the room and had moved everything to our car and do not have plans to go into the room. The person then responded with "... No one should return to the room under any circumstances." Wow.... is that really necessary? That took away the one point that I was initially going to give. Other than that, I thought that the shower water pressure in our room was pretty weak - but it was okay for a 2 night stay.

Very handy location and beautiful lake view cannot be beat. Love the privacy and attention to detail. The owners definitely want you to be comfortable.
Tiny thing..had to move things around to be able to plug in coffee maker with short cord. But not a big deal at all.

Beautiful view.
No room service, office closed all times.
The only way to get in touch with owner was through text.

Very cozy room with everything we needed for a few days in wine region. Everything was really clean and host was very helpful if we had any questions.
Nothing, we had a perfect stay!

Great location. Windows towards East will allow meeting the sunrise. The hotel provides equipment and firewood for BBQ. Very clean.
Low water pressure in the shower; water has a strange sulfuric smell. The room is very small. No shampoo in the bathroom.

It was so nice to have my room open and ready for my arrival. The fake fireplace was so inviting along with a tea cup and tea bags, style magazine and the Evan Dawson book on the wineries in the Finger Lakes. The accommodation made to modify safety with Covid was well thought out and very convenient. My view of Seneca Lake was spectacular at dawn.
I plan on coming back.
The only issue I felt was the water ..it had an odd unpleasant taste. I made coffee the first morning and it was terrible so bought bottled water for the next few days. Everything else was so nice and my stay was relaxing.

Nothing. It was perfect
