Excellent frontier motiv lodge in easy location

Location and room were excellent. Bathroom is small but maintains the frontier motif. Excellent site and easy walking into town and restaurants, bookstore, art galleries, etc. will visit again

Such a pleasant stay!

Carla gave us a warm, cheery welcome! the property has an interesting history, and our room was super cozy (3C).

Nice spot for a couple to spend a weekend, had all the amenities needed and in a great location with a great price.

Great location, and loved the porch and the western character. Snacks provided and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Beds/pillows not the best on one bed, the other was fine. Could use some updates, TV was only a few watchable channels.

Very good

The bed was a bit hard. However, as soon as we said something the owner immediately had the mattress fixed. This left us sleeping much better the second night. The room is very quaint, a bit on the tiny side but very doable.

The owner went out and bought a rollout bed for a last minute son that decided to come with me.

Unique experience for a night or two.

It was very cute. Nice cowboy feel and the staff was friendly.

Parking was difficult at times as the parking spots are within feet of a busy street. Rooms seemed clean in the the important ways, but still needed attention to detail. We had lots of piled up dust in certain areas and some cobwebs here and there. I think for us, the biggest issue was the smallness of the bathroom. That being said, was a very cute location.

Location is very close to everything which is nice, very centrally located. Unfortunately, it's also located on a fairly busy road.

A Blast from the Past - Authentic Prescott

From the moment you walk in, you know you are in the right place for an authentic Prescott getaway. Colleen and Carla were phenomenal hosts! You can tell they both put their heart & soul into the property. The lobby has lots of little trinkets & items from the past. A coffee, snack bar & popcorn maker is accessible to graze on if you wanted (free). Upon getting settled, we ran into a small kink & Abigail was nice enough to call Colleen (the owner) for assistance. Colleen then drove after hours back to the property to help iron out the so-called "kink" which she succeeded :) Who does that? Proud owners who show compassion do! Her attentiveness to helping us was unforgettable. The rooms are as seen on the website; as if you've stepped back in time to the olden days, western themed - super cute & cozy!! They even had old-fashioned board games in the room & on the patio. The patio is perfect for lounging on as there are tons of comfy chairs encouraging you to sit and enjoy the weather. There was even a firepit that would be amazing for the cooler months -- we can't wait to come back & put it to use! Location is great; not right in the middle of all the chaos of Whiskey Row but a short walk to if that is what you seek. If you are looking for a cookie cutter hotel room where all rooms are the same, this is not the spot for you but if you want real, authentic Prescott - this it the place! We can't wait to return :) :) Thanks Sheldon Lodge Inn!!! Hee-haw!

The bathroom & shower were quite small but that is to be expected from a building that was built in the 1940s.

Looking forward to visiting again.

We really enjoyed this little slice of the Wild West. The lodge is decorated and remodeled beautifully. Easy walking distance too all of Prescott Square / Whiskey Row. The staff was delightful.

Would not recommend this place

Ridiculously small bathroom, dirty coffee mug, tiny room, noisy street, no coffee at 8 am, had to wait half hour for front desk host to make more, sink outside of bathroom, how I’m I suppose to shave?, fireplace is a joke

Historic gem of a lodge

Our room at Sheldon Street Lodge was so beautiful! The front of the motel has several chairs and firepits that make it very inviting. We were able to park right in front of our room. Our room was decorated with lovely pillows, curtains, flowers and paintings. The bed was comfy, bathroom was a little small but very clean and worked for us. The lodge is next to a busy street so nights are not silent, but we didn't think it was too noisy or loud and were able to sleep really well. The location of the lodge is perfect for walking to downtown. We were able to walk to our race (the annual Whiskey Row Marathon event - we did the 5k), to restaurants and the courthouse square park. Our little puppies loved all the walking we did. There were other guests with puppies too. The staff are wonderful - Abby helped us get our cable box working after we checked in and Carla was so nice and had delicious coffee, snacks and breakfast breads set out for the guests every morning. Thank you Abby & Carla! We can't wait to go back and stay at the Sheldon Street Lodge again!

There really wasn't anything that we didn't like. We plan to stay again the next time we visit Prescott.
