Breakfast was fresh and delicious with several choices.
The complimentary wine was very enjoyable.

The rental is above a coffee shop and we got $15.00 a day for a breakfast sandwich and cup of Joe. You could use the $15.00 for other things as well. Everyone in the coffee shop and bakery and all shops and resturaunts were very friendly
small TV and the satelite didn't work. We streamed from a laptop to the tv.. but really didn't watch tv anyway as we were running around hiking, taking in the area. The sun comes up early and brightly in the bedrooms. If you are a late riser.. might be an issue for you The front door to the coffee shop shakes the second floor. The stairs up to the unit are not meant for anybody that can't handle stairs well.. so if someone is afraid of stairs... issue.

Beautiful place, great location,, lovely room, fantastic full American. breakfast
The whole experience was ruined by the surly attitude of the hostess; when we arrived, we were pounced on by four dogs, the largest of which was nosing it’s way between my legs, extremely unpleasant for a non-dog lover; when I backed away in dismay, she said I was out of luck because the dogs roam free, whereupon she literally turned her back on us and left us standing there with our mouths agape, so much for the warm hospitality advertised and expected in B and B’s; the host shooed the dogs away and, yes, they kept them out of the way while we were there, but I had so looked forward to this getaway to deal with the stress of moving and two deaths of loved ones, that her barely civil attitude cast a pall on our stay. There are dog lovers in this world and non dog lovers, she should have respected my fear of dogs, it was handled so poorly, we’ve never been treated like that in any B & B or hotel

Beautiful property, beautiful home, the host are amazing. The breakfast was delicious.
There was nothing we didn’t like. I was a little confused about the price ranges. It seems to fluctuate a lot depending on which weekend or which site you choose.

Everything was great. Grounds well kept. Room was clean. Breakfast was great.

Jim and Joanne were excellent hosts. They made your feel like family.

Great breakfast. Knew the area well but had been awhile.
Our room was chilly with no thermostat. As we were leaving was told that previous couple requested low temp. but forgot to resume normal setting. Wasn't intolerable but wish we knew to ask.

The grounds, staff, and lodge was spectacular. Once we arrived, we were greeted and welcomed. We were shown the grounds and told of the history. Once inside our cabin, we were informed of all the pertinent information, i.e. Wi-Fi, coffee maker, and supplies. The whole process was easy and rewarding.

The inn in town was perfectly located. Spacious and very clean

Great breakfasts, and a property with many amenities that we weren't expecting. A great place for a relaxing vacation, with enough to do onsite to keep you busy for a few days.
It's worth knowing that some things happened during our stay that might be regular occurrences this time of year. The only road in and out was being repaved, so we declined to take advantage of the bikes available at the inn. They also ordered mulch while we were there, which had quite an aroma!

The grounds were absolutely beautiful, the property is peaceful, the host was kind and helpful, and even upgraded my room free of charge to a suite. I ended up staying an extra night and wish I could have stayed longer!
Nothing.

The Inn is super cute, and my room was large with a very comfy king bed, I really enjoyed the family style breakfast they served and the food was great. I'd definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

We were not at the Inn - we were in an apartment in Rock Hall above a coffee shop. It was clean, comfortable and well located. Breakfast was vouchers for the coffee shop below. We had a generous allowance to get what we liked.
The original booking process was unclear - we thought we were staying at the Inn but the property contacted us prior to make sure we knew we were in town. It was a nice accomodation but not as charming as an Inn and surrounding property would be.

I was impressed that the farm including soy beans, pine tree forest, pond and Chesapeake Bay view, didn’t have any bees or flies flying around. Private cove leading to Chesapeake Bay is a nice view.
The accommodations at B&B were great!
We didn’t get chance to go kayaking or swimming at the swimming pool due to scattered showers that day.
The property is very nice but limited choices of going out to dine. Rock Hall is a small and quaint town. We had to drive out to Chestertown to dine out. If we do this again, I would have a cook out at the property instead.

Thought the place was wonderful, great hosts, common dining area was lovely, room especially the bathroom was great, property is well kept and lovely
When they switched my room I ended up having a sleep sofa not a bed and it was uncomfortable.

Beautiful property with nice amenities and a great pool.
No ice for guests drinks

Delicious and varied menu.
3 dogs roaming free and no tv

We thought we would have breakfast at the Inn but we were given vouchers to get our breakfast at Jazz Rock in Rock Hall, which was fine.
We really enjoyed the company of the two dogs. They were so friendly. The golf cart was very helpful for my husband since he doesn't get around very well. He was able to go to the waterfront with the golf cart.
Can't think of anything.

The setting, the cleanliness, the attention to detail, the warmth and naturalness of the hosts, the tone were all exceptional. Felt like I had been there before!
We couldn't stay longer!
