The rooms are adorable and the detail to cleanliness and lodger needs is impeccable. The sheets are incredibly soft and the pillows were nice and fluffy.
The mattresses were a bit hard but no more than any other motel/hotel.

We were on our way to Yellowstone when the roads got to bad and we had to pull off and stay somewhere for the night. The simple ease of booking and checking in here within a few minutes was wonderful. We enjoyed or night and woke up to a foot of snow. They had the walkways clean and the parking lot shoveled. We had Breakfast at the Cafe across the street and everyone there was very friendly. Had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

The Evening and Morning Receptionists were welcoming and delightful and so helpful. They knew all the eateries and gave us some great suggestions. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated with a "bear" theme. There were so many welcoming touches in the tiny yet efficient wash/bathroom area. The sign in the "lobby" stated we'd get a breakfast "to go bag" in the morning. Picked an apple from the basket, bananas were gone, had prepackaged muffins and nice prepackaged breakfast cookies. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate available in "lobby". Good quality tee shirts and other souvenir items available for sale. This is a 15 room rambler type "lodge"...all one floor like the "good old days". Great for stopping on a road trip and just wanting to sleep. Other guests seemed to be frequent fishing enthusiasts. Good value; would stay again for an overnight rest. (Roads under construction)
The heater/air conditioner was noisy and disruptive to sleep. Once we adjusted to that, we snoozed.

The breakfast and coffee was great. I really enjoyed my stay and talking with the staff. I would stay there again if ever back in the area.
Not enough plugs.

The location and room were perfect.

Breakfast was minimal, coffee, fruit, bars etc.
Location wasn't what we expected, not close to Yellowstone nor scenic. good location if heading to Island Park and you're tire of driving for the day.
Location isn't fixable. Breakfast could have been a bit more but there is a place to eat across the street.

My sister & I loved it here. we each got our own separate room. It was easy taking the dogs right out front. Nice small town & close to Yellowstone.

Very pleasantly impressed. Small area but arranged nice with good variety
Toilet area was very cramped ..... but got the job done. Wish there was some sort of chair to read in other than camp chairs. Not trying to complain, but you did ask. Ha ha

Breakfast was just what was advertised, so that was fine for us. The room and hotel was so cozy, it felt like staying at someones house. We loved the look, the grounds were very well maintained as well. Loved that we could buy swag with the logo on it.
better seating inside of room would be only suggestion and our air conditioner sounded like it was on its last leg, very noisy

The room was comfortable and clean. Despite being located on a busy road, the room was fairly quiet.
The lighting in the bathroom was rather dim. As a senior citizen I need brighter lighting. One other issue: the hot water ran out before I finished taking a shower. I was traveling alone and no one else had used the hot water in that room.

Clean and nicely appointed. I like the wood motif and log cabin feeling.
Could use a small heater in the bathroom. Room was good temperature but bathroom a little cool in the morning.

convenient location, extremely helpful staff
beds are squeaky and can hear sounds from neighboring rooms

It was way better than staying at River lodge in island park. Comparatively Fishing bear was a Hilton. Betty was nice to chat with over cup of coffee. Rooms super clean and close to The Ranch.
A chair in the room to watch TV at night.

We love the theme of the rooms. Everything felt nice and cozy. It's very clean. Great heater on a cold morning warmed the room up fast.
The front door is hard to open and close. Although the towels are so cute, they're very small.

The lodge was nice with a second room off the street which was nice.
Location was on a main road in town. Unfortunately we went during the potato harvest so trucks were going past continuously. The person at the desk seemed a little grumpy when we showed up.

easy to get to
needed more towels
