I love the quirkiness of this hotel. The soaking pool is marvelous after a long day at work, and having live music and multiple bars available to relax with was a huge bonus. The room had very responsive climate control and the bathrooms were clean.

Very dog friendly.

Beautiful scenery and a hot tub that was so enjoyable with my partner we went for Valentine’s Day and the thought of the experience makes me smile.

Loved our room and all the fun things to do!
There was a younger man working in the games room bar and he wasn't very nice

love the quirkiness of McMenamins' properties - fun just to wander the halls and admire the creativity!
my only complaint: terrible mattress (hard/lumpy) and too-soft pillows made for a restless night...
4.2
Lunch and dinner options, great drink selection, large grounds to explore, the bed and decor in the room, soaking pool included in stay and entertainment options on the grounds.
The toilet seat in the restroom near Ironworks Grill was nearly completely off of the toilet and stall did not lock at all. (I used the guest one with my key card, but just want to put that out there in case your team wasn't notified.)
Also, there were hairs and a toenail in the soaking pool. 🤮

Fun quirky decor, kind staff, good food. Enjoyed the outdoor dining. Beautiful gardens surrounding the hotel.

Generally love McMenamins properties and had great time at this one until it came time to sleep.
Apparently water pipes ran directly over/through our room (118), and once people started using water (4am) the water sound was loud enough to keep me awake rest of night. Tried to mention it it staff as we checked out around 6:30, but lobby was completely empty

Despite how busy, and over worked the staff was...the bars being closed except for 1 after a certain time and having to train someone...the staff was still quite friendly and remained in good spirits.
Other guests...can i say -just rude and ungrateful?!? It was memorial day weekend. So, we understand the over abundance of extra people coming to the property...service was SLOW! and we there was a guest that we know was staying at the lodge this particular evening (as he was doing a bit of complaining as we were checking in 🙄)that did more complaining than anything...he was even seated behind us at dinner. My goodness!

Our room was on top floor and was hotter than hell! Super stuffy and unable to ventilate. Windows are non opening and no matter what I did to cool it down it was not comfy at all! I also got a late check out because I work odot at night worked till 3am so asked to check out late was You’re going until 1230, at noon they were knocking to get out! Waste of $175
Not happy plus I had a fifty dollar voucher from booking on my account and no clue as to how I could use it they refused to make any effort to help me! So for 8 hours I paid $175 to be in hell when I was so excited to stay there as I love the mcminemans normally
The entire stay esp the price, stuffiness and security guard!

Art, icecream bars,
Shared restroom staff constantly suspecious, and constantly asking if we belonged there
