Location is excellent
We got a room with the bathroom that was awful. It was old with a hand held shower. Every time we tried to wash the bathroom was full of water. Don’t get room 2. The pillows were lumpy and old.

Well located and nicely appointed.
Breakfast was too late. 9:00. We are early risers. We wanted to eat on their porch area and were told it wasn’t possible.

The location was prime and the inn beautifully appointed. The breakfast was delicious and well executed.
We have one small recommendation for the property. Our particular room was just above the entry door so every time it closed it vibrated the room and was loud. I would strongly suggest upgrading the soft close mechanisms.

The minute we arrived the team onsite made us feel welcome and were clearly coming from a place of how can we make it happen. We arrived an hour before the bartender and wanted to sit outside. The sisters had drinks in our hands before we could blink!
I found another guests name tag near the bed. Perhaps a little more detail cleaning but not a huge issue.

They didn't serve breakfast the first 2 mornings we were there but gave us gift cards instead for a local cafe. This was a very pleasant surprise. On our 3rd and final morning, they opened for breakfast because the restaurant we had a gift card for decided to close for the rest of the week. Breakfast didn't disappoint. My husband said his omelette was one the best he's ever had!
We had issues with the heat our first night, but the issue was resolved the next day.

The hotel was conveniently located. It was very clean and quiet.
The breakfast was sad. Instead of a continental breakfast as stated we were sent to a very small crowded young persons place. With all the elegance of the hotel the breakfast was an insult. They should have said breakfast was not included or sent us to a more appropriate place. The manager was very receptive to our complaint but I doubt anything will change.

The location in downtown Lenox is great. Charming property with nice lounge and dining areas.
Though the room was certainly charming, I have learned that I do not enjoy showering on my knees with a handheld shower in a tub with no curtain. A real shower would have been better. To be fair, a traditional claw tub was part of the description of the room, but I assumed there would be a shower too. The main problem was a total lack of personnel. On the first night there was a Jazz trio with an open bar w/food. It was lovely. The rest of the week, the place was a ghost town. There was no one there most times and only a number to call if there was trouble. When staff was present, they were very helpful and nice. For the very high price I would have appreciated at least some personnel most days. I realize that Covid makes this hard, but I felt like I was staying a really nice youth hostel. If the B&B cannot be staffed, I understand that, but then the price should reflect the much lower level of service.

No breakfast was served during our stay.
Food was served between noon and 8pm.
Servers and staff were wonderful.
Loved the outdoor tent for drinks and dining.
Need a more variety on menu and some snacks during the afternoon.

Innkeepers and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was to die for. Smoked salmon, smoked trout, herring cream cheeses with different spicing. House made granola you have never had anything that good.
The historic building needs careful attention to bring it up to date for comfort. Heating system needs an overhaul/replacement. It was cold, especially if you were anywhere near a window. The latter could also use an upgrade for comfort. The shower head in our room did not work.
