breakfast was continental style just didn't eat anything was not hungry... location was good for what i needed.

bed was a little harder than i like , but slept well .

The New Lantern Motel is a hidden gem! It's clean, quaint, casual and comfortable.

I liked the quaintness, and how casual and simple the accommodations were. Not too fancy or overdone, just comfortable. Very clean and obviously newly renovated.

I had a hard time getting my TV to work, but I'm bad with electronics anyway! The friendly staff resolved it quickly. There could have been a few more breakfast choices, but I was satisfied.

Relaxing

If you enjoy a nostalgic motel by the highway this is the place. Cozy, clean, quiet, newly renovated and easy access. Staff was friendly. I look forward to my next visit.

I would highly recommend the New Lantern Motel. Very convenient, clean and welcoming.

The facilities were very clean and well kept! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient to the town, restaurants and shops. Nice place!!

The bathroom didn't have any soap or shampoo.

All and all I would not stay there again. One of the worst places I've stayed for service.

We didn't really like anything. There wasn't any breakfast. Tried to find the supposed breakfast and the operator wasn't available. Door was locked at 6:30 am the day we left.

There wasn't a luggage stand/rack or a place to put clothes (hanger/rod etc.) We had to leave the luggage on the floor which made it inconvenient to access. The a/c was difficult to work, it was the window type, it was difficult to adjust it for a comfortable temperature so I just turned the power off. The liquid soap for the bathroom was terrible, hard to get any suds. The refrigerator was all frosted up and then began to defrost by itself producing water on things we had on the shelfs. We stayed two nights and was gone all day after the first night. Came back to no fresh toiletries, towels or wash cloths. The bed wasn't made, like you have in other motels. It was apparent that the operators hadn't been in the room to address those issues.

Great stay.

Room was newly/nicely renovated. Staff was great. Close to freeway, but quiet location. Parking is right in front of your room. I would definately stay here again!

Decent room but low on supplies at checkin.

No breakfast, but coffee provided in the room.

A room was booked with 2 queen beds. I received a call asking if a room with 2 full beds would suffice after the reservation was made. The caller was told no, 2 queen beds were desired as booked to realize comfort for 4 people. Upon arrival only a room with 2 full beds was available, so the room previously booked had been provided to others anyway.

Brief stay but was what we needed for the trip.

Not a big deal, and totally understandable due to the time of year, but the room was very warm and we did not have A/C.... being October, we wouldn't expect to have the temperatures we did though. Nothing that we couldn't deal with.

close to food, gas,and shops plus very picturesque.

The motel was newly renovated. Crisp and clean appearance. Amenities such as wifi, electronic charging ports, massage head shower, LARGE closet and other touches made or stay very pleasant and comfortable

The weather could have been better but I believe that is beyond their control!
