It was a charming old house with character. They had updated the wiring to accommodate high-powered items such as blow dryers and irons. Gated parking was a plus.
It was an old house with many, many steps. Since they no longer serve breakfast, much of the charm is gone, as eating lovingly prepared meals and chatting with hosts and other guests was special. Without that, it's just an old creaky house with drafts and poor lighting (couldn't turn on one lamp at all and the room was freezing when I arrived. Gladly, they had a space heater (although those do make me nervous).
I'd rather just go for something contemporary and bright if it's now downgraded to create an experience of convenience furthering isolation.
4.5
Location et user friendly checking process via passcodes and secure parking lot at night
Mattress a bit too soft for our liking but some people wouldn’t mind. Personal taste.

Great location, charming house. Our room was also super comfortable and perfect for our family.

We liked the location as it was very short and quick to get to from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum.
There was no breakfast option for us which was a disappointment given the price of the room and it's called a Bed and Breakfast. Also, the shower was in another room from the toilet.

Did not know there was a breakfast. Would have liked one of any kind.
Rates were high that weekend - I like the place and would hope to find a better rate on other trips to Cleveland. Do you have a room with a bath instead of a shower?
2.5
nice accommodations
sheets were microfiber. very uncomfortable.

I didn't see any other people, which was a positive for me. It was all keypad entry, but there were text messages and fairly responsive replies. I slept well.
There were stairs, but nothing unreasonable. It was about 2 flights and I took them in heels.

Wonderful location within walking distance to where we wanted to go and see. Beautiful property and wondefully restored. The room was nice appointed and exceptionally clean.
Property manager could not be more helpful and hospitable.
The two flights of steps up to our room was an inconvenience.

Comfortable beds, great location, historic touch
Thin walls (a fair amount noise from the street and other tenants)
4.5
No breakfast offered
So many steps and no elevator

The Inn is in a quiet part of the city, but it's a quick walk to anything you could want. My husband and I stayed for a concert at Jacob's Pavillion and we were easily able to walk to and from. The room was clean and the jet tub was phenomenal. I loved that there were bottles of water in the common living area, without being charged $10 a bottle. The check in/check out process was incredibly simple, we didn't actually have to deal with anyone. Perfect for an introvert like me! The owner, Connie, texted me the morning of with a code to get into the building and another to get into our room. The private parking lot was gated and locked overnight, so I didn't have to worry about my car at all. Connie made sure we knew that her and her husband were available whenever we needed. I would love to come back sometime and stay longer.
We didn't get longer than a few hours in the room so ce we were so busy!

I was unhappy that there were so many stairs to climb to get to my room. The room was lovely but had I been told about the work being done outside the Inn I would not have chosen to stay here. The men started working outside as early as 7:30am.

Such a cute place. Our room had plenty of space to fit our family. Kcups for morning coffee and bottles of water were left in the common area. Which was a nice touch. There was a shared fridge and microwave right outside our door. Which was perfect. I only spoke with the owner by text. but she seems really nice and gave explicit instructions on how to enter the property. The property is very close to everything we were trying to see. If I'm ever that way again, I would consider staying again.
The only negatives I found were that you cannot adjust the ac. It was slightly warm in the room. but fans were provided, which helped. And the 3rd bed in our room was actually a leather futon. Which was quite hard to sleep on. I think a memory foam mattress topper would probably help with that. But everything else was great. I highly recommend.

great old inn , bed so comfortable
had to go up back stairs to get in
2.5
Free parking on premises. By car, short distance to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
Heavy scent used to freshen rooms was excessive and offensive. Smell lingered in clothing & hair for some time. Also, would have been nice to be forewarned of the amount of stairs outside as well as inside.

The owner was very friendly, easily in touch by text, and on the phone I felt like I was talking to a friend or aunt letting us stay for the night. Room was historic and quaint and beds were very comfortable (enough for family of 5). Bathroom was mostly modern and clean. Felt safe and secure. Whole family was happy.
