it’s location was the best thing about it
I didn’t like the cost, the way staff treated us, the hotel looked like a room you’d rent back in the 90’s

Nice location in a good locality
Bathrooms not clean at check in. It took three attempts before a bathroom was found that did not have excrement floating in toilet and urine stains on seat. No apologies beyond statements that cleaning was handled by a third party and nothing could be done

Very roomy apartment
Grounds very expansive
Shuttle service from Airport at 2am and to train 7 am.

Good size two bedroom suite although the people above were pretty noisy walking around and speaking on their phones. Shame that people are put above when they didn't seem full.
Breakfast was pretty expensive at 20$ not much gluten free available and not very hot.
Lovely walk around the lake, needed mozzie protection though. Short walk to Creamers Fields. Good free shuttle service to the airport. 25 minutes walk to town.
Breakfast kept hotter. Gluten free options/staff awareness.

It appears as though the Resort has purchased several former apartment buildings and created a resort. We had a one bedroom "apartment" with a den, kitchen, dining area, bathroom and bedroom. It could use a little upgrading but it was clean and served our purpose. It was a great space for a family. We did use the sofabed for our teen. I think it had seen better days. I put a blanket on top of the mattress and then put on the sheets. A mattress pad would have been nice. The full size kitchen worked well by allowing us a place to store food for lunches each day and a place to prepare and eat breakfast each day. The staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The restaurant on the resort site was way overpriced but handy. We would have loved time to explore the wildlife area and the auto museum but not enough time in Fairbanks.
Sofabed mattress.

The ameneties are nice for staying long term here. The kitchen is partially equipped. Shuttle Service is convinient unless there is a snowstorm.
The day of our arrival, the staff at the reception was very rude. It was the day of snowstorm and earlier in the day I was told to call when I arrive at the airport for the shuttle. However, when i arrived at the airport at 2 AM, the hotel staff denied shuttle service and instead asked us to take taxi. There were no taxis running then and the waiting period was atleast 2 hours. We had to request the hotel staff to arrange for taxi, which he (I believe Thomas) did after a lot of deliberation. That taxi was bound to arrive 2 hours later. We requested another shuttle driver to take us and he agreed looking at our miserable condition. When we arrived at the reception, the staff denied taxi driver the charged fare and said can only give 20 dollars (vs 50) which was never mentioned before. And was rude throughout our conversation. He didn't show sympathy or remorse for the troubles we had to go through. Or remose for unable to send the hotel shuttle without previous intimation.

The front desk staff was always courteous everytime my wife or I we to either ask questions or get something that we forgot. The room was amazing with a full kitchen that was stocked with cooking supplies and eating utensils. We had a table to eat which was a pleasant surprise.
There was nothing open to eat on site for the winter months.

Loved the room size and quality furnishings. Astonished to see that had I wanted to, I could have baked goodies, as the kitchen comes fully equipped. Beds were comfortable, as were the couches.
The upstairs neighbors seemed like they were wearing cement shoes with every step. The bathtub, while roomy with lots of hot water, was uncomfortable to truly enjoy. The bedroom tv got very few of the available channels.

Very spacious, perfect for long term stays. There's a full kitchen and dining room. Very Clean.
No elevators. We were assigned to the third floor. Also, we didn't expect to be in a separate building towards the very end of the property. Lyft drivers have a hard time picking us up, we had to walk to the main office to get picked up. A minor inconvenience for us but could be a big hassle for others esp in the cold winter.

The location is was amazing. Even the rooms were great.
Staff seemed busy. Only one TV channel.

I checked in late due to unexpected medical emergency. Appreciated they had staffed desk so late. Left early in morning. But did return there after husband was released from hospital and stayed for over a week while he recovered enough for us to fly home. The place was great for us. Wheelchair accessible. Great museum on site. Beautiful grounds. Staff available 24 hrs. Close to everything. VERY well stocked kitchen...even sharp knives!!! Clean and lots of room.
A little noisy being next to stairs.

Beth and Barbie greeted me as I walked into the hotel lobby. Both were extremely helpful and very insightful with the surrounding areas.

Nothing
These are old apartment buildings and not a hotel resort. Can you check into a creepy under furnished huge apartment from the 1980s we are uncomfortable to sit down on the bed or the furniture. There is a common balcony running in the back so all of your transient and semi transient neighbors can visit you by knocking on the glass door. Apparently it is a place that also homes people that need to be there for a month or a week. It’s not readable for families with children

The flowers all over the place the grounds were spectacular although it's like living in an apartment complex you had a view of a parking lot
I got the dates wrong I booked until the 20th thinking that I would be leaving the morning of the 21st and they charged me almost double for the extra night and the front desk people were lousy I've worked in three different hotels and they suck

Friendly customer service agent at checkin. Nice space. Big living room. Nice kitchen. Nice deck that looks into the woods.
The facilities were dated. Security front door to access the unit was broken. Main TV in living room was not hooked up. Deck was open to all units (no divider) and no outdoor table and chairs.

The scenery and the reception room
The entrance to our building smelled like wet dog, our a/c didn’t blow cold air

Location
The room was dirty.
We found someone’s underwear and a pocket knife on the floor.

The rooms were very large & the property quiet.
The mattress was so awful that we didn’t sleep the entire time, and they never serviced our room once in a week. We had to ask for toilet paper and trash bags.

Very spacious set up like a apartment.
All Door handles sticky,so the first thing i experience is nasty door handle.when I went to pull out sofa bed moved cusions and looked like clipped toe nails trash and debree there, like it haddent checked in a while. That was very gross.Bathroom light wouldnt come on mosy of the time. Worked intermittently. My son couldnt hardly open patio door. Not trying to be ugly just thought this should be brought to someones attention.Going to be in Fairbanks alot was looking for a place to call my home away from home.

Big room (apartment). Good location. Easy parking.
The fitness center was closed. My room was not ready when I checked in. The phones in my unit didn’t work. They were unwilling to give an extra hour on check out time.

The facility was very spacious, very big Reminded me of Embassy Suites years ago in Los Angles.
The surprising thing we’re these however: no elevator, (we had a lot of “stuff” to lug-up 3 flights of stairs). Yes, characteristic of Europe but not the USA. No air conditioning in the living room. We were told to “run the fan out the bedroom for cool air”. At first we were surprised a bit but, I must say it worked however. It had been warm for Fairbanks a few days (3) previously and on the top floor more so therefore thus our front desk call on this issue. We realized this is after all Central Alaska and A/C is a luxury used or needed infrequently. It was welcomed in the bedroom, needed there, and we were satisfied.
Carpet was worn and old (dirty) in entry area. No elevator as mentioned above.

The condo was spacious, full kitchen, full bath, TVs in living room and bedroom, walk-in closet. Close to Antique Auto Museum (excellent) and had a nice walking area, although it was still coming out of winter and was messy.
A/C window unit in bedroom only, does not cool the whole condo. Property did not honor Priceline's price; added 12 percent taxes, not considering Priceline already pays 8 percent. Check-in clerk smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and was rude. No mention of lack of elevators or offer of help in getting heavy luggage up the stairs, which was a struggle! Should have been obvious that we are seniors!!
4.5
Very clean
No room service.
