Great place to stay at a superb value

Owners were very friendly and cordial. Facilities were spot clean and very comfortable. Overall ambience was great.

Having preconceptions about an experience sometimes leads to a letdown but not in this case.

This is what a bed and breakfast is supposed to be. Bill and Mike are good people. The room was comfortable and the morning breakfast fueled the rest of the day.

I wish I had another day to sit back and relax. Two days was not enough. Maybe next time and, there will be a next time.

Would definitely recommend to friends and family! We loved this bed & breakfast!

Bill and Mike were incredibly hospitable and provided us with all of the best advice on where to visit during our stay. The location was perfect to experience the beauty that Ogunquit had to offer. The breakfast each morning was amazing!!

Exceptional

Bill and Mike made us feel right at home! The room was spotless and clean, the house was organized and spacious, and the outdoor garden area was beautiful. They both went to great lengths to ensure we had a great time in Wells, not to mention their breakfast was amazing! Will definitely be coming back, they made our anniversary very special.

Perfect.

We always go away for our anniversary, often to exotic places and in high end hotels in suites. This was our first time in Ogunquit and our first time staying in a B&B. Based on this experience, this will become a go to destination.

The owners were wonderful. Breakfast was good. Place was spotless and well cared for. Perfect for a no frills BNB, you pay what you pay in Maine during the summer.

A perfect B&B stay … highly recommend!

Michael and Bill were the sweetest hosts! They were so pleasant, good humored, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were beautifully appointed and breakfast was generous and delish. While the house is located near a well traveled road it was surprisingly quite in the rooms. Such a great intro to the area!

Wonderful, friendly, service and a beautiful location.

We had the suite, which was beautifully appointed and large. I LOVED the whirlpool tub. The bed mattress was very comfortable and the sheets were very soft cotton.

Bed pillows were not as fluffy as I like.

This B&B is worth driving to Maine for!!

Bill and Mike are the amazing Innkeepers of this simply superb B&B in Wells. They welcomed me with open arms and are really the nicest people you will ever meet! i am handicapped and they took such good care of me that I never wanted to leave! The farmhouse is decorated superbly with a mixture of coastal and antique designs. My bed was the biggest King bed I’ve ever seen and I think it could have had a family of 5 in that room! You are close to everything and nestled between Ogunquit and Wells Beach, so perfect spot. Breakfast was wonderful, homemade blueberry and coffee cakes, fruit and waffles with tons of berries and delightful cream! Yum!!

We already planning our return to the Elmere House this Fall!

it’s the tranquility you feel as soon as you enter the Inn. The warm and friendly reception by Mike and Bill was genuine and natural, as if meeting friends you haven’t seen in years. The rooms were all different and each one beautifully and tastefully decorated. We slept like babies, the beds were soooo comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, Chef Ramsey would definitely be pleased!!

Awesome spot!

The breakfast was out of this world, soooo good with home fries and eggs Benedict along with homemade cinnamon cake, coffee, juice and fruits. They are fantastic and assure you won’t be disappointed!

Relaxing get away with no worries. Just what we were looking for!

As far as breakfast, Bill cooks the delicious 3 course meal while Mike (Garcon) caters to your wants and needs! Ours started with some delicious breakfast cakes (yes that's plural). Followed by a large fresh fruit dish (cantaloupe and watermelon) completed with the daily changing "entree". (Day one for us was fruited french toast, then day 2 was eggs Benedict.) Both Delicious. (You won't even need lunch!) The owners were very accommodating to my husband's dietary constraints and made adjustments. The queen size bed was very comfortable with a quite AC wall unit that we could adjust to our comfort. Private bath was clean and had everything we needed, the shower had good water pressure too. The building itself is very quite. There is a pretty yard filled with beautiful flowers that attract small birds, making this a zen like relaxing atmosphere, if you have time to spare. It is located between the villages of Ogunquit and Kennebunk Port. Very central to lots of shopping, eating areas, beaches, and recreation trails. Bill and Mike were friendly, considerate and accommodating.
