We had all positive experiences with every staff member.
Nothing
4.3
Location and room size was great.
A dog that barked a lot and especially at 1 am.
Will never stay in a pet friendly again.
4.3
The location and cleanliness were the best part of the hotel.
The front desk person was not welcoming and did not even talk to me except to give me my card.
The other bad part was the elevator shook bad as it came to a stop.
4.3
Good size suite. Good breakfast.
Noisy elevator - needed repair. Worn carpet. Shower curtain too short - hard ro keep water from getting on bathroom floor. Not ideal parking. Sketchy people hanging around parking lot.
4.3
Very up to date and comfortable!
Shower pressure not enough
4.3
Location was good.
Staff was rude. Facilities were a little dirty. Some doors did not work, and elevator was hit or miss at working.
4.3
The included breakfast was really good! The staff was very friendly and professional.
The room was spacious and clean. The shower was good and the beds were very comfortable.
The location was "close" to downtown.
The water for the shower wasn't consistently hot, it didn't get ice cold but had a variation.
The hotel is close to downtown but you will have to drive there.
4.3
Beautiful rooms and friendly staff. The shuttle to downtown was a great addition to our stay.
Nothing
4.3
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful as well.
4.3
Very clean. Staff was super friendly.
Parking off to the side. It was located, basically in a shopping center. Which was a little strange. But, I felt safe in the area.
4.3
Plenty of choice for the breakfast.
The shuttle to downtown runs every 10 minutes.
There was no noise from the other rooms.
The room was clean, big, and had air-con and heating system.
Only dairy milk at breakfast; no other options.
Downtown is not walking distance.
Mattress is too soft and I had back pain.
You find on bathroom's sink the little tubes for shower, shampoo, etc which are good if you stay for 1-2 days and they are not of good quality.
Too expensive hotel.
Staff was ok, but they do not smile.
4.3
Shuttle to downtown and RAD was GREAT. And unexpected. Saved on parking and hassle.
Coffee wasn’t restocked one day. Not a big deal since it was easy to get some downstairs. Toilet took a long time to refill with water. A bit of a hassle
4.3
Clean, recently updated facilities. Staff helpful and friendly. Shuttle to downtown quick and convenient to popular restaurants downtown. On site laundry facilities, indoor pool and gym bonuses.
4.3
Room is spacious and quiet. Breakfast is plentiful. Nice hotel over all. Have stayed here multiple times.
All good
4.3
Cleanliness and staff
Access to parking was absolutely Horrible ‼️😠
Traffic to and from the location was terrible 😣
4.3
The rooms were amazing The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very very clean
They advertised a special on Biltmore estate tickets and the code doesn't work but other than that everything was exceptional
4.3
nice staff, and very good breakfast
terrible location. advertised as in the river arts district.. actually in a lousy strip center.
4.3
The location is great as it is very close to Asheville downtown. They also run a free on demand shuttle service for drop off and pick up from the downtown which is super helpful (no need to look for parking in downtown!). They have decent breakfast too.
The property definitely has plumbing issues. When we arrived, we got a room where the flush tank was way too slow to fill up. So we were given another room and we checked only if the toilet flush was working. Later on we realized that the wash basin did not drain properly. There was obviously a clog somewhere which the management was not able to resolve during our entire stay even after multiple requests placed at the front desk. If you are staying here, make sure to check if everything in the bathroom works!
4.3
good breakfast and friendly staff
everything was good
4.3
Location
Elevator not working one day. We were on 4th floor and elderly. Sheets would not stay on mattress.
4.3
Comfortable beds, clean and nice amenities. Breakfast was a bonus too and dog friendly
4.3
room was comfortable and clean. staff outstanding!
4.3
I loved the fresh baked cookies, the fire pit, and the overall location being 5 mins away from majority places.
Our first room had a roach crawling in the bathroom. The front desk was helpful and changed our room. The new room, our beds were so uncomfortable. We were sore from just sleeping.
4.3
Staff was professional, helpful, and polite. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We took advantage of their complimentary shuttle service to take us into town and bring us back. Breakfast was good. We liked the decor and facilities in general.
If you want hot water in your shower you have to wake up early or shower late at night. They have a courtyard where you can sit and relax or eat your breakfast but the door locks behind you and you can't get back into the lobby with your room key.
4.3
The checkin person was friendly.
The idea of charging a $50 nonrefundable for a pet is horrible especially when I booked it online there was nothing said about an extra charge. It only said pet friendly. I got the email after booking and it said there would be a charge. The first time anything was said. Then I got to the hotel only to find you charge $50 amd nonrefundable. I couldn't walk away because the hotel was nonrefundable when I booked it. What a scam.
4.3
the decor, the breakfast, the REAL dishes and silverware, the nice bedside lighting and nice bathroom
the location is a bit tricky to find.
4.3
Breakfast was good. Staff were polite and very helpful. Shuttle to RAD was prompt and courteous.
Access to Internet didn't work! Finally had to get front desk to access through Staff access. First time in 25 yrs couldn't access Internet with a password.
Getting to hotel is a mess! GPS struggled to solve the "backroad" access to your location!
The room doors are secure, but I wonder if some "little old ladies" could even open them without assistance?
Need to oil the elevator...
4.3
The staff was very friendly. The shuttle service was great free and prompt from hotel to downtown.
It’s quite a stretch to say that the hotel is located in River Arts District. It’s adjacent to the Earth Fare shopping center next to I40. In theory you can walk to the district through shopping center parking lot then under highway pass but you would be on side of road. That was disappointing and I think misleading. The bathroom was pretty
4.3
Great stay, rooms were nice, beds were comfortable and clean rooms, breakfast was great and staff were very lovely and welcoming
4.3
New, clean nice staff and very good location
Elevator was slow
4.3
The view was horrible! Looked out on ugly rooftops!
4.3
24 hour coffee and tea. Nice rooms.
4.3
it was clean and everyone was so nice and helpful.
the location
4.3
Property was in a good location close to downtown. they offer a shuttle to downtown and the river arts district, although I did not use either. I had my mini dachshund with me and it was one of the best pet friendly properties I’ve stayed at.
I’m not sure who’s at fault for this: the property or booking.com, but there was no mention of the pet fee or how much it is. The pet fee is an additional $50 per pet per stay! since I was only staying one night it was a very significant increase over the price of the room that I had to come out of pocket for AFTER I had already booked a non-cancelable room.
