A really special experience

My first time in that area and It was awesome. The area was beautiful, the staff so friendly and helpful and the room was lovely and homey. Looking forward to coming back!

Highly recommend!

The staff (Renee) was phenomenal -- very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The environment was great with fun amenities, from Pappy and Harriet's, to the outside fireplace, to the little craft/boutique shop, to the comfy chairs to take outside and stargaze.

The walls between rooms are thin, and unfortunately we had one neighbor couple who fought a lot, and another neighbor who liked talking on the phone at 7:30am on a Saturday.

Most amazing stay

Most amazing stay, we loved the whole vibe here, really cool and the place is very nicely furnished. A complete dessert paradise, no noise, no lights, able to enjoy tranquility and serenity, a real iconic location. We ate next door, and that also was fantastic. Joshua Tree itself was great and this was located perfectly to access that. We will be returning one day, for sure, can’t stop thinking about it.

It as fun to stay in Pioneertown especially if you’re going to pappy and Harriet’s

Cool to stay in renovated motel older than we are

Due to heavy rain challenging to get luggage into room. You don’t park front of your room as in other motels. Need better plugs desk for all our electronics.

Westernstadt ohne großen Komfort.

Die Lage, der Flair, super und ein echtes Highlight. Das Personal ist nett und zuvorkommend. Es gibt Kaffee und Tee umsonst.

Im Winter ist es eine kleine Herausforderung. Die Zimmer sind kalt und die A/C ein Muss zum Wärmen. Es ist idyllisch und wirklich schön, aber zu teuer für das was es bietet.

A very special accommodation in an unique surrounding

There is a venue close by for concerts. The music was pretty loud till aprox 23.00. We would have preferred and expected more quietness in a place like this

Exceptional

We love the location. Usually stay at PTM for concerts at Pappy and Harriet's. Love exploring Pioneertown during the day and sky gazing after the concert.

A charming little gem that will be difficult to forget

Great location if Pioneertown is on your list or even Joshua Tree for that matter..Dont be put off my the Motel suffix. The rooms here are spacious, easy on the eye and quite plush too like any other good hotel. The views from the sitout and gorgeous and the sky view at night is brilliant too for stargazing. Staff are great abd helpful too. Walking distance to Pappy and Harriet's.

We had a nice time. We LOVED Pappy & Harriet’s!

Very unique place.

Although it wasn’t the properties fault, our flight to Las Vegas was over 10 hours delayed, causing us to miss our first night’s stay. I called and explained it to them. They said they would speak to the manager about a refund, but we were charged for both nights; no discount. That was a little bit of a bummer.

Superb

Everyone was very friendly. The rooms were cute and cozy.

The heater made a loud humming noise and it ran all night because it was 30 degrees when we were staying there. I wish it hadn’t been so loud and maybe needs to be fixed. Room 17. Otherwise everything Elise was great and the staff was great. Comfortable beds as well

Friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely stay again.

Walking distance to Pioneertown but remote and felt away from the craziness of the city.

Not sure if staff were aware but the electricity in the bathroom was out. They left little battery operated lanterns which gave a little bit of light, but it added to the “old west” vibe so honestly we didn’t mind.

Pleasant

Very convenient location, decor, hammocks, fireplace outside, lovely woman who checked us in and got the fire started for us, and the room with communal tea/coffee.

Floor inside the room was quite dusty/sandy, woke up at 6am with an event that was being set up outside, overall for the price, just expected a bit more. Still was worth it for us to be able to stay in Pioneertown for the night.
