Never booking that place again!

Ocean view it’s not ocean view!!!! I saw dumpster and parking lot! That was blood drops in the bathroom! Terrible! TV was so small that you can’t see anything! And no pool!

A beautiful place, close to the Pier and almost on the beach. Will be going back!!!

The suite we stayed in was so nice!! It was updated and beautiful with two balconies. We could see the beach and hear the surf. The kitchen was great with everything you need! The beds were comfortable. We had lots of room even though we were 5 people.

The furniture was nice, but the pull-out couch was not very comfortable.

Great Location and Friendly Staff

The location was fantastic, steps away from the beach, restaurants, shops and amusement park. The staff was welcoming and patiently answered questions about where to visit, acknowledging us in passing, wanting to ensure our family had a good vacation. The toys for the pool were a fun bonus and the available beach items free to use like chairs, shovels, boogie and skim boards were greatly appreciated!

Prfect place for a wonderful time by the beach

the location is perfect . just to step out from the apartment with coffee and sit at the beach to see the sunrise.we got there all we needed for a wonderful stay.

I will not suggest this facility!

location from the beach and pier was beautiful.

I felt like the owner was always watching us, she even was somewhat rude at times. The pull out couch mattress was as thin as paper, I had to buy an air mattress for kids. if you needed a towel you had to go with owner to her wash room and put your return towels into machine while she checked them… if you needed any tp she asked why! I believe the owner tries but needs to allow guests to be trusted especially for the not so comfortable accommodation. lastly too many stairs for people of elderly or disabled and no fire exits 😢😩

Wonderful stay, wonderful owner!

This was my second year at the property, this time I brought along my parents along with my kids! My husband joined us at the end of the week for a couple of days as well. We enjoyed the beach access, the friendly and helpful owner who is on location, the toys and chairs available for use, and the pool. Walking to the pier and Playland/food is only a couple of minutes which is great, as my children love the Playland with all the rides. I highly recommend staying here, it's my favorite place to stay in OOB!

My parents reported being sore on the pull out couch, the rails are exposed and would hurt when they would get up. In the future when we stay here, we will opt for a larger suite for an additional bed. The keycards are on your phone, and while that is fine for me, my Dad is old school and prefers a more traditional key. The owner gave my parents their own keycard so they could avoid phone use, which was wonderful!

the staff was friendly and professional and did a great job meeting all of our needs!

my only criticism is there was no ice machine. Getting ice downtown is impossible (always sold out) there should definitely be on one on-site for the guests use!

A great time. They provided all beach towels, umbrellas, beach chairs toys for the kids

The place was very nice but the pull out sofa bed in living room should be replaced not very clean and not comfortable in our unit 6 can't speak for any of the other units.

The sofa bed and a few of the units do not have balcony seating which ours did not.

Great location, renovated suite, staff friendly, amazing beach view and access. This place is rightly recommended.

I didn’t like the parking spots, the space for parking is tight and limited. Pool is inside and barbecue area isn’t private.

The BEST anniversary getaway! Can’t wait to come back.

Perfect Location! Everything was walking distance. The owner/manager was so sweet and great with our kids. The room was absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. Had everything we needed to cook and feel right at home

A very nice place to stay near the beach, and could possibly be a great place to stay.

The location is great. Just walk to the beach. The motel was good for a small family of 3. The kitchen had all the necessary items. The Wi-fi was great. The rooms are well-lit and had a great and positive vibe with plenty of light coming through.

1. There was a storm when we stayed (early spring), and the room leaked from the roof. Also, if there are strong winds with rain, the water seeped through the front door into the room. 2. We felt an absence of care to keep the decor of the room. The TV was hung from the wall and was titled. The wall near the door had a hole from the door handle. The utensils needed an extra wash to be really clean. There was a strong smell of tobacco at the back entrance.

Pleasant but I would stay at a fancier hotel next time for a cheaper price. $600 per night?!! SMH.

It's right on the beach. Minutes walk to the Boardwalk. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Over priced for the property amenities but its right on the beach. You know what they say, Location,location,location.

The staff were very friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the indoor pool.. we were trying to avoid the crowds so going to the pool during the day was wonderful. We would hit the beach up around 5:30 when everyone else was leaving. The apartment was very clean!

Queen sized pull out bed sheet didn't fit, but not a huge deal.

Sand Dollar Suite 8 - family of 5

Loved the location, the view, the proximity to the ocean and town. The owners/family were very friendly and accommodating. Loved the history of the hotel. Everything was clean and neat, and the room had a broom to help clean up any sand. We really enjoyed it and wished we could have stayed longer.

There wasn't much we didn't like. We eat in/cook so a few more pots/pans would have been helpful.

Mediocre

The staff/ owner was very unprofessional We were lectured about marijuana, smoking and pets and we do not indulge The door keys were accessed by our phone so I had to bring it everywhere and it fell in the ocean. I was drilled as to why I needed another blanket. No handicap accessibility I do not like to be treated like a 2 year old. I am an adult and I respect others property.
