Accommodating, Welcoming, safe, comfortable, Delicious coffee and breakfast. Gwenda is the sweetest!

I arrived very early at the Inn, not expecting to get into my room but Gwenda was very accommodating and welcoming and showed me around. The Inn is immaculate and she has thought of everything to make you feel at home. Gwenda gets up early and makes fresh coffee for you! (This alone wins you 10stars in my book!!) The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the presentation was so beautiful. Such a treat to stay here! I hope to find my way back soon! I have already recommended this Inn to family members and friends.

The only thing that I did not like is that I could not stay longer!

Best B&B we have ever stayed at!

The food was amazing!! Gwenda has perfected her recipes. The room/ house was beautifully decorated. It was modern but keeping with the ambience of a 200 year old period home.

A perfect Bath B&B.

The Pryor House in Bath Maine was a perfect stop for us on our way to Acadia Natl Park. It was less than an hour drive from the Portland airport. It's a lovely, very comfortable home. Wonderful bed and a fantastic homemade breakfast we talked about for days. We would definitely stay at the Pryor House again.

Great place to stay overall and would definitely stay again.

Friendly owners, breakfast was phenomenal. Room was quiet and clean.

There is no refrigerator in the room like the website had stated so we had no way to keep drinks or food cold

Superb

The Inn is conveniently located with views of the water and is easily walkable to shops and food. The neighborhood is charming, safe, and historic. Bath is relatively close to Bowdoin college, perhaps 15 minutes by car, and is a nice option for parents (college drop-off, anyone?) or for visitors attending the Bowdoin International Summer Music Festival. Innkeepers are friendly and accommodating - breakfast was generous, homemade, and delicious!

So many positive things to say! Room was as advertised, clean, and inviting. Don and Gwenda were attentive and provided a warm welcome and exceptional breakfast. Even in the off-season they remain in peak season form!

beautiful old house, great location, quiet. lovely friendly owners who respect your privacy and comfy bed, fluffy towels.

The captain suite bathroom across a ‘private’ hall is a bit strange and all the cooking smells and noise from the kitchen/dining area comes up the staircase in that hall - they could close off the hallway and this would be so much better. It only has a couple of rooms so having only 8-9 am breakfast window was too late in my opinion - would have appreciated 7-9 or a choice. Has the bad cheap motel soap and mystery shampoo/conditioner dispenser - having better products would elevate the experience.

We were extremely pleased with our visit to bath, we were welcomed at arrival, the location is ideal with a great water view and walking distance to everything, the room clearly had attention paid to each detail. Spotless top to bottom, it was noticeable clean. Top of the line sheets and towels. Wonderful local themed room with lots of ships and trains. If you like the maine style, this is a gem. Not to mention the amazing smells of breakfast that radiates the building in the morning. We recommend !

The chocolate on my down turned bed was an unexpected treat as was the open fire when I came down for breakfast. The meal served in a light-filled room was delicious and included a variety of fruit and a vegetable quiche in an exceptional crust. Throughout my meal, I enjoyed a wonderful conversation with the innkeeper.

The innkeeper told me my room would likely feel fairly cold later in the evening and I was grateful for the portable heater that warmed it up while I prepared for bed.

It was such a relaxing night in the jacuzzi tub and the room was so cozy, an amazing breakfast too!

Beautiful location, great service and the room was amazing! The chocolate covered strawberries were a perfect addition on our Valentine’s day stay.

The neighbors dog didn’t quite like when we would be out on the balcony. He would bark and bark at us and they brought him in eventually, and we know there’s not much the host can do about that. That was the only negative thing!

Quaint, welcoming New England style home with a very sweet hostess.

Gwenda made us feel welcome from the start. I'd never stayed at a B&B before, but this one definitely set the bar high. The room and atmosphere was comfortable. The breakfast was beyond expectations. I expected scrambled eggs or pancakes, the normal breakfast items. She started us off with honey flan, followed by fresh fruit cup and the main dish was eggs benedict. The best I can describe it is welcoming and quaint.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

It was really wonderful and we have family in town and will definitely stay at Pryor House again!

The breakfast was outstanding and freshly made. Just wonderful.

The doors didn’t close quite properly. We didn’t feel unsafe but it felt a little odd. We’re from Bath so we knew it was fine but it may not feel that was if you’re from out of town.
