The location and features of this home suited us perfectly for our two night stay. Incredible views from each of the four levels.

When we arrived it was raining. Raluca met us at the train station. Thanks to her so much for helping us get to our room. There were many steps up and down to the apartment and the steps were very wet. We also were no accustomed to the steps and the fact that we brought way to much luggage on our trip. If you are reading this, do yourself a favor and pack light. The apartment is 4 floors and very unique. It’s small and cute and great for 2 people. Top floor is the bedroom. Great view and you can hear the ocean with the window cracked at night. The third floor is the kitchen. It is cute but didn’t have coffee or dish towels or basic salt or pepper. There is a deck for one person to sit and drying line if you go to the laundry on the Main Street then bring it back to dry or dry it at the laundromat. The second floor is the toilet shower and sink. There is a bunk bed which I put my toiletries on. There is another small balcony for drying laundry/towels. The first floor has a small tv, small couch and entranceway. We left our luggage here and just took clothes out as needed. The air conditioning worked on all floors. The one thing we noticed was there were more clean towels. The towels we found were shoved inside the cabinet and were still dirty. A blanket and rugs were left outside and were soaked. I washed one time while we were there and washed a few towels so we had clean towels to spare. When we left we had an easier way to go, it was early and no one was up yet. Fun time!

The house is very charming and is in an excellent location. The only downside for our stay: the level of cleanliness when we arrived.

The location is excellent. There are stores and restaurants near by. The water is easy to walk to.
The house is small. It is well stocked and had everything we needed.

This is an amazing property located in beautiful Riomaggiore where you can enjoy a glass of wine on the patio watching the Mediterranean. The property is clean, well maintained and charming. You are very close to the water and the restaurants. Like everything else in Riomaggiore, there are stairs to climb to get to all four floors and plan to leave your luggage on the first floor.

Outstanding location. View of the sea was amazing!

Location of this accommodation was amazing. Right on the water with great views. As others have indicated there are a lot of steps both to get to the location and in the apartment. But if you are mobile and don’t mind steps this place is for you. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Thank you for sharing you place!!

We highly recommend this property! The host was very accessible and helpful and the property was very clean and close to everything. Worked out perfectly for us and would definitely stay again!

Nice historic tower house. Rooms are small as described in listing and you will climb lots of steps but we welcomed the exercise after eating so much amazing pasta and pizza! Beds were very comfy, AC was great with a unit in each room, and we cooked a meal in the fully stocked kitchen. You can see the cliff jumpers from the narrow balcony view. We were only using the house to sleep since it so close to everything, just a few steps from the public swimming area, the marina with private boat tours and excellent shops and restaurants. The hosts are very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location. Lots of space but my 6ft 2 son found it hard not to bang his head or elbows on the way up and down the narrow stairs. Getting too and from the property involved some steep stairs but this seems to be the case all over riomaggiore. We only had small carry on suitcases so it wasn’t a problem bringing them up the narrow stairs. Having a larger suitcase might be a problem.
Also a word to the wise. You cannot drive a car directly to the property. We arrived in Rio by train. The walk from the train station wasn't too bad with our small suitcases. However, when we left, we had a private car drive us to the airport in Milan. We had to walk to the pick up point at the main road and the stairs just about killed us! Apparently you can hire a taxi to take you to the main road which I would highly recommend!
All in all, this was a great place! Sitting on the balcony with my morning espresso with a view of the water was amazing!

Antonio, thank you for a great stay while in Cinque Terre. Raluca met us even when our train was delayed, walked us to the apartment - it would have been difficult to locate without her. She went over the windows and doors- a great touch is they have a lock box for an extra key outside if you lock yourself out or when you go swimming. A great location to the marina and town centre. The kitchen was well equipped but we only used the kettle. Sitting on the porch, watching seabirds, water and listening to the waves- perfection! The description does not lie- the flat has 4 levels- you enter into the sitting room, next floor holds bunk beds and the only washroom, third floor with the kitchen and porch with a great view(spent many mornings and evenings there)- lastly top floor with a very comfy bed. Very narrow circular steps up. Managed and so worth it- would stay there again. Antonio even provided ideas for boat trips- so very helpful.

This apartment was just as depicted in the listing. Antonio is a wonderful, helpful host. The location is beautiful and the air conditioning top notch!

We had a difficult check in, not met at train and had hard time calling, air conditioning worked great, stairs are difficult to go up and down, daughter fell down stairs. Large suitcases will be hard to get to the place and also will not go up the stairs, there is not much room on main floor for suitcases depending on the amount of people in party, Cleaning was mediocre, there was juice or blood marks splattered on the wall and door in the bathroom and food was found in the floor behind couch on main floor.

Perfect location. Just a few meters from the premier swimming and cliff jumping in Riomaggiore. The apartment is like a tree house:
Ground floor: entry and living room / sofa / TV
1st floor up: bedroom and bathroom
2nd floor: kitchen and balconey with beautiful view of the bay
3rd floor: master bedroom
Right next to the main walking and restaurant area of Riomaggiore. Doorstep is right on the Via dell'Amore walk, although the path was closed beyond the train station for repairs (it has been 10 years!).
Kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, fridge, etc.
We would stay here again without question.

Perfect location. Nice accommodations. Friendly host. Loved Riomaggiore! Takes a little while to find at night.

The place was fabulous. Great views of the water, and a short walk to the stony beach. It’s a vertical apartment of 4 stories, with two bedrooms. Very small and cozy. We loved it.

The property location was fantastic. As others stated the spiral staircase in the home is narrow so we left our luggage on the bottom level (there are 4 levels total). Communication with the host was great & I would highly recommend the home. The town of Riomaggiore is steep steps (and getting to and from the home) so if you have little ones, elders or are not in good shape this isn’t the town for you. But this town was picturesque!

Perfect location in a typical CinqueTerre building. Highly recommended if you don't have mobility problems and are not a heavy person. But watch out if you have difficulty going up/down tight steps

Location was amazing. Right in the harbor and close to restaurants. Some small issues like not very many towels and the moka pot had mold in it. A little off putting but not a big enough issue that we wouldnt suggest it to ptjer people for a place to sleep.

Host was great with communication and had someone meet us at the train station to get us to the place. It does have narrow stairways to get to each floor but the views were great.

This is a 4-story house with a balcony that overlooks the Mediterranean. Our only regret is that we didn't stay long enough.

The apartment has a great view and is an excellent location. You may find climbing the many steps a challenge, but it is worth the effort. Antonio was a great host and very communicative. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this apartment but you definitely need to be able to climb stairs, Like Tons of stairs! That being said that is the case for most places in Cinque Terra. The view from the top room, kitchen, and bunk bed rooms are well worth the trip up the third, second, and first flight of stairs.

The property was so cool and the location was amazing. This property was so much fun. It is super maintained and stocked with extra towells and things. It reminded us of living in a tree house. If you dont like steep arrow circular stairs, than this place is not for you. We lived the adventure and the climb was worth it. The views off the kitchen balcony was awesome. We made our meal one niqht and sat out on the balcony. Amazing. Love this place....

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Riomaggiore. The home was unique and fun. The property had basic necessities needed for a short stay. Make sure to pack light and be prepared to climb the many steps. All the steps are worth the views and the experience. Enjoy!

The location of the property is fantastic, in the heart of Riomaggiore. While the property is slightly behind other houses, there are still great views of the town and water from the main bedroom and two small balconies.
Other posts are correct, there are a lot of uneven and varying size stairs to get to the property, but I imagine this is true for most all properties in 5Terre.
The house also small with very small, tight spiral staircase and small bathroom. If you have mobility issues or are oversized, this might not be your place. However, if you know this going in and consider it a fun, funky experience, it’s a great find.
Owners made finding the property super easy with a video. They were always responsive and great to work with.
I would definitely book again if given the opportunity.

My husband and I enjoyed a three-night stay at Antonio's place and the quaint accommodation. Following a rather steep and twisty journey, the final location is perfect to explore the town and a quick walk to the train station. With its perfectly appointed and coordinated furnishings, the space actually feels a bit doll-like! Best suited for those of a smaller stature, by husband (5'8") and I (5'4") fit just fine. With windows on each level and two balconies for seating, the apartment is filled with the sound of the ocean :) If our mobility is as good as we hope in future years, we would happily return!

We have a wonderful stay at Antonio’s place. It was perfectly located - a short walk to the water and all the nearby shops/restaurants. The home was super cute and well stocked. The stairs are steep! So wouldn’t suit someone with poor mobility. Overall had a fantastic stay!

We loved the experience of staying in Riomaggiore. Antonio was so helpful, answering all my questions prior to our stay. I would suggest downloading the directions to find the house prior to Cinque Terre. The power was out when we arrived so I had no cell phone service for awhile. Once service was back up the directions were easy to follow. Antonio also recommended a private boat tour that we loved. Raluca was very helpful and accommodating. Great stay!

Great position in village. Cute property - 4 story with narrow spiral staircase so lots of exercise! Lovely views and great air conditioning.

Great location!
If you have difficulty with stairs, then Riomaggiore is not your place. But, we loved it and this traditional tower house. It was quaint and clean. We would book again!

Quaint but everything you need.
This is a very well kept, fully furnished, and cozy place to stay. Very near the water front.

Listening to the waves of the Mediterranean Sea upon awakening was magical.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is well appointed and had everything we needed. We appreciated the toiletries, the exceptional A/C and found the beds comfortable. I was thankful for Antonio’s tip to leave the suitcases behind. We checked ours in with the bellhop at our hotel in Florence and picked them up on our return through town. I don’t think we could have made it up to the home with them.
The stairs in the home are very narrow and steep. They were fine for us, but would be difficult for anyone with mobility or balance issues. The views from the rooms make it worth the climb!

Tiny house. Beautiful view. Lots of steps.
We enjoyed our time in Riomaggiore. We really had to get along as a couple as the house is very small. It’s in a central location close to everything. The view of the sea is limited but beautiful. You can see more from the bedroom window on the top floor. The house is actually in the puzzle picture in most Cinque Terre puzzles! We enjoyed sitting on the tiny balcony listening to tourists struggling to walk up the stairs. Watching kids dive from the cliff and swim around the rocks was fun too. The kitchen is adorable we found everything we needed. The bedroom has a pretty small bed and it’s hard. The sheets did not fit. There were no sheets the right size so we found an extra small sheet so my husband had his and I had mine. The hardest part for me was climbing the stairs between levels, the bathroom is on level two and the bedroom on four. The kitchen is on three. The railing at the top when you’re getting to the kitchen is wobbly. Those middle if the night bathroom trips are tricky. I think most of the places in Riomaggiore are like this one. Just pack light, we brought backpacks. There is a laundromat in town also a clothes line if you just need to wash a few things out. There is night life here we could hear people party all night long. Just close the windows and turn on the air to drown them out. Our favorite spot was the restaurant overlooking the sea near the train station. The train station is very close and the hop on off train is so easy to use when exploring the other towns nearby. We hiked the trail from Vernazza to Montessoro, it was beautiful! We enjoyed our time and thank Antonio for sharing his house. The sweet girl who met us at the train and walked us to the house left us two beers and gave me her cell number in case we had questions. All in all a wonderful time!
