We loved the setting and grounds- lots of places to sit and relax. The room was comfortable and spacious.
There was some building work going on while we stayed so the facilities were slightly limited. The rooms are not very well sound proofed. The occupants in the next door room had friends around until quite late and we could hear a lot of noise.
4.3
It was clean, staff were friendly.
The knobs for the shower were backwards so hot was cold and cold was hot.

WE loved the vibe of the place. Very laid-back, thoughtful decorations and attention to detail. The bed was extremely comfortable, shower was excellent and the staff very friendly.
The soundproofing between the rooms needs to be addressed. We could hear the next room and their conversations.

This was hands down the roomiest and spacious room I've seen in a.long time. It newly remodeled and we were the first people to stay there. The live.music was fun and the coffee is mot.to be.missed. ✌️
There was construction noise the entire stay long into the night but otherwise no complaints.
4.3
The simplicity and earth consciousness.

available equipment to borrow for the stay from wetsuits and surf boards to yeti cooler.staff was helpful and accommodating.
beds too low (20") chairs aren't comfortable
a bit overpriced if like us, you don't use any of the equipment. should have an option to save $10 if you don't use any.
4.3
Was very clean and equipped with high quality items for our stay.
Was a bit noisy, since it is located on a main road, and close to other residential homes.

If I were 20 years younger or 20-30 this place would been absolutely awesome. If your just looking for some place to cook dinner and then crash at night this is the place for you. They have an awesome outdoor kitchen area, have a community center with a large kitchen area. They have live music a couple of nights a week
This place is different than any other place that I have ever stayed. It's almost one step above glamping. The room and bathroom are super small. I think the idea is that you just spend time in the room to sleep, the rest of your time you are outdoors exploring the Ocean beaches and doing all the activities surfing, bike riding , beach combing. I'm 66 and those days of camping are well behind me and I need a really comfortable bed that isn't so close to the floor. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying don't stay here just think about if it is part of your current life style.

Room was clean, mattress was comfortable, I have already left my review with LOGE and got a response.
I have already left my review with LOGE and got a response. They cared about my issues with the booking and apologized. What matters, is that they took steps to avoid the issue for their next guests booking through booking.com for misleading room details.

I had a wonderful stay at the Lo Ge in Westport, Washington. The lodge was beautifully maintained, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
The location of the lodge was perfect, offering easy access to the beach and other attractions in the area. It was a peaceful and serene setting, allowing for a relaxing getaway. The staff at the Lo Ge were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home.
One of the highlights of my stay was the community kitchen, which was well-stocked and provided a great space for preparing meals and socializing with other guests. The lodge also had outdoor seating areas, perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings and fresh coastal air.
I particularly enjoyed the attention to sustainability and eco-friendliness at the Lo Ge. It was evident in the practices they followed, such as recycling and using energy-efficient lighting. It was refreshing to see a lodge that cared about the environment.
Overall, my experience at the Lo Ge in Westport was delightful. It offered a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great location. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful coastal retreat in Washington.

location and price
The secondary bbed was uncomfortable. There were no disposable coffee cups, I think a lot of fishermen would appreciate one
4.3
Loved the grill setup, the community kitchen, the pet friendly vibes
Room 1 is lacking the counter space and extra sink that rooms 2 & 3 had
4.3
The water would not get hot for the shower it barley was luke warm , i had to stand in front ofnthe heater to get warm after i got out

Super clean and great sized room. Loved all the modern updates and property. The amenities were great with the cafe and firepits. Will absolutely stay again next time in the area.

We love the place and westport
The room we had this time was terrible, the windows leaked soaking my bag of clothes, the gaps under the door let water and cold air in. The room floors and shower were dirty. No matter how high the heat was we could not get warm
4.3
the little touches the staff added to our room for New Years. and the community lounge area, I loved having such a nicely stocked kitchen
wished I could get bay access and the bathrooms/showers were w but cramped

The clean room the wonderful staff the location.
I can't think of anything we disliked.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and the surfer decoration ambience was very tasteful. Rental boards, kayaks, and wetsuits available in every size.
nothing to improve

it was very clean and tidy!
the sink was partially over the toilet so it made it hard to use.

The items in the room for sale.

Young and bubbly staff!
entrance sign not very visible, especially at night

The staff was very friendly & helpful. Also the room had a cute, funky style.
I overlooked that there was no AC when I booked. so when I opened the door, the room was extremely warm. I tried to turn on AC & then realized my mistake. So I opened the window which would have been fine given it was cool outside. But there was no screen in the window & it is a one story old styled motel. my room was room #1 right along the street. I don’t know who thinks that is acceptable from a security perspective. Also, no dead bolt is provided on the inside to provide additional security. Lastly & bizarrely, the sink in the bathroom is positioned slightly overlapping with the toilet even though there was a foot on the other side. In order to use the toilet, you need to slide in kind of from the side.

i think if I was there to actually surf or with a partner it may have been better. traveling solo I didn’t really get to take advantage of the facility. campfire, bikes etc.
I am very sensitive to smells. not sure if it’s the ocean humidity or the cleaning products you use but the room smelled funky. akin to either mold or chemicals or a combination. I immediately opened windows but they were tiny and full of dust and dirt on the screens. a ceiling fan would have helped maybe.
