the room is big and the kitchen was a big plus. very nice breakfast and beautiful surroundings. helpful staff.
the room is old and could use an upgrade. the way to the room is looooong and not easy with suitcases, and the stairs to the bedroom are steep. not for everyone.
3.5
Very few options in the area but easy access off side roads
Website did not disclose the superior room with 1 king and 1 queen were actually on separate floor connected by spiral stair case in rooms The queen bedroom was actually a loft above the main room and king sized bed was on ground floor, not good for senior citizens,

Felt like home away from home.
Clean, friendly staff and great value for cost.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was great! The kids loved the multi-level room with the spiral staircases!

Can't stress enough how good the breakfast was, and common areas are so nice and room is awesome 👍😎
Could not find cutting board in the kitchen, not that it matters too much, but otherwise kitchen in the room was very well equipped

There is a nice complimentary breakfast in the hall

We liked: the friendliness of the staff, the overall facility, the location was perfect to our liking, and easy traveling location to the Fryeburg Fair.
THE ROAD. The road accessing the facility could use some TLC and some pavement to fill crater pot holes.

We had a really great stay at Evergreen Valley Inn. The rooms are very big and include a fully equipped kitchen.
The wifi is very slow

Staff seemed nice and kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils/pots/coffee maker, etc. They are dog friendly, though charge extra $20/night for "cleaning" but my room was not cleaned/tidied after the first night. There are a few nice hiking trails within 10-15 min drive.
I found hairs in 2 towels and the bed sheets which made everything seem less clean. The bed was lofted and very hard to access (up a very narrow set of stairs). The wifi and cell service are very hard to come by, so make sure to download all audiobooks/trail maps and whatever else you may need. Also, the area is very remote, so plan ahead for things like groceries/snacks. It was about a 15-20 min drive to the closest pizza place (which was surprisingly good pizza).

Secluded. Had kitchen.
The bathroom tub leaked constantly. Heard dripping all night. Bathroom door severely water damaged, dripping must have been for months. Think the strong minty smell was to cover up the mold smell. Found mouse poop in pull out couch.

nothing
staff abusive, no power, but hadn’t made any provisions for it- so no dinner, no heating, went to bed hungry & cold. Never again.

It was far enough away from high-use roads that it was very quiet at night (except for the walking of people in the room above). The downside was that the very remote access road was unexpectedly rutted and pothole-infested, with no warning notification for drivers. It would have been worse if it had been raining.
I had requested a no-fragrance room. This room had three of those chemical air freshener units (which I closed and removed to the outer hall) hidden in corners, and the sheets were washed in fragrance-laden detergent. My throat constricted and my nose was running all night, and I got very inadequate sleep.
The front desk was not available after 8pm for requests (blanket!).
The so-called breakfast was two cookies (at least they were home-made at a local bakery) and coffee, in the entrance hall (no table available unless you walked far down a long hall to the fireplace room).
The light above the Murphy bed was out, and no bedside table or alternative light was available. The bed blocked easy access to the kitchenette. The thermostat could not be set above about 65, and it was only accidental that I found the inadequate extra blanket, and I had to climb for it. I froze all night, contributing to my inadequate sleep.

Great staff ! Relaxed and very helpful
Amazing location
No AC in our room

I had to overnight there in advance of picking my daughter up from a local camp. I was very impressed and pleased with the Inn. I had expected a normal sized room for one person. Instead, I had a room with two hide-a-beds and a loft! What a pleasant surprise. When I arrived and checked in, I was personally escorted to my room and shown around. A nice touch. The facility has clearly been around for a long time and has not been updated recently. Personally, I like that it's not luxurious. In talking to some of the other guests, this is a location that they have visited since the mid-1970s. It's a family tradition for them. Lots of activities nearby. In short, I will return with my family in the future.
I wish I could have stayed longer. WiFi was slow, but I was told that because they were full, that would be the case. It needs more people to come so they can afford some maintenance and upgrades.

The location was in the center of many outdoor activity options. A 20 minute drive lead us to many great hiking trails, lakes, rivers and small towns. the staff were very friendly, greeting us and giving great tips on out of the way special spots to explore.
The only thing to make it better would have been a swimming pool to cool off after great hikes.

For the price, it was the best hotel I was in for my entire vacation.
The parking situation where I had to pull down to the far end of the hotel, unload my stuff then go park the car in the front and walk back to my room. Leaving was the same issue.

large rooms
large playground
needs updating as there were cracks in the sink and other things
you can hear everything between the floors

donuts and coffee were available in the lobby. we didn't spend much time at the facility itself and were kind of surprised at how far out in the woods it really was. No complaints just surprised.
I wish the internet service was better as I had schoolwork to do in the evenings but was not able to do much as the wifi was very slow.

+ kitchen was fully equipped
+ there are many things to do at the hotel
+ room, bed and kitchen equipment was clean
