Forest cabin for a little vacation, little do they expect the horrors that await them.
We liked the location and did not mind the "rustic" nature of the house.
The heat was practically none existent. All heat sources were maxed out and we spent our time under blankets trying to stay warm. When I tried to use the BBQ there was no gas for grilling.

It would be in the best interest of the owner to follow through on the comments made by visitors.
The location was very pretty, tucked away in a wooded area. The cabin was definitely built in a time where people valued cozy over comfort.
We booked 2 days/nights; we left after one. One guest described his bed (the “master”) as “sleeping on a sack of potatoes. Another said they’d never been so uncomfortable: the bed was hard and tucked against a wall where he bumped his head each time he raised it (the angle of the ceiling was sharply slanted). We were unable to simply locate critical light switches. It was consequently a dark experience. The cabin was very cold (in September) and the various space heaters either didn’t work at all or barely had fan power to blow any heat. One lady slept in her clothes. All of these things had been mentioned by previous visitors and could easily and cheaply been remedied: INSTRUCTIONS about the cabin were nowhere. A memory foam mattress topper on the beds would have made a great difference. Tall people (5’9”) could see areas that hadn’t been dusted in quite a while. And so on…. We were in cranky spirits as we left because of the money paid and the poor attention by the owner regarding the many, many comments by others that these same issues please be addressed. (We did not dive into the reviews as we should have. We won’t make the same mistake again.)

Good
It was a cute comfortable cabin in the woods. Quite at night.
A lot of big furniture so for a small cabin it made it crowded. Bathroom is very small and there is only one.

We all had many good night sleeps and really enjoyed our relaxing stay. I recommend the place.
instruction to the cabin was great; the location is very nice and quiet; the river is only few feet away and we had a relaxing stroll around; the facility provided what we needed for our stay. Enough parking spaces. The cabin was cozy and warmed by a fireplace. Cooking wares and dishes/glasses were appropriately provided.
rooms (bedrooms and bathroom) were rather small but we managed very well; there were wine glasses that had cracks (maybe from previous occupants or due to washing) - those should be inspected before the next visitors arrive.
