The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. The cleaning crew was available when you needed more towels and bed covering. The property was very clean and in a great location.
This is not a necessity but it would be good to maybe add a small ironing board and iron in each room. I would also recommend a hairdryer. There should also be a broom in the rooms.

Room was super clean and bed very comfortable Nice walk in shower and the frig kept all my drinks very cold.Beach was close and access was on a cool boardwalk over the dunes with a beautiful deck area on top of the dune. View of the beach was awesome.
The big dumpster sitting in the drive way, really made the place look a little run down. I understand why it was there(for the renovations being done)but it didn't look good.

The beach/location
AC rusty, loud and noisy. Needs to be replaced. Septic truck came at 7:30 pm at night and the smell made me nauseous. Not good. Especially on a weekend. Lastly, 4 pm check in not acceptable.
8.0
The convenience of the kitchenette, store and the beach. We also appreciated the fact that it's a smaller hotel.
It probably would have helped having a laundry facility for guests. When you book online you never know what you're going to get and it was a very enjoyable stay.

The people in the office are great and very nice they let us check in early and it’s nice and quiet
It’s a walk to the beach down the path and it doesn’t have a pool

Staff
The room is not equipped. The AC unit is terrible ( fun is so noisy when on !) the way to the beach is terrible( need to climb over the stairs!!!

Clean rooms, private boardwalk to the beach, and an outside shower to wash off the sand
There were some flies

Location
Basically everything. Didn’t feel safe. Mold in the rooms. Awful smell. No soap shampoo or paper towels. Needed two rooms for one large family and they put us in two separate buildings! Was not a good experience

Exactly what family needed in a short time vacation .
Looking forward to come back

I love that we were so close to the beach. The staff was accommodating and came as soon as we had a need. I saw that they are working on some of the rooms and making improvements. They still have a ways to go
The AC unit sounded like a jet plane at best and a helicopter at worst… All through the night. There were dirty pee spots around the toilet and the room was in need of updating. Only one towel rack in the entire place and it was only big enough for one towel. There was a closer bar thing, but it wasn’t convenient for bathroom towels. Mold in the shower, no instructions for the tv, weak WiFi signal and mold on the outdoor shower nozzle.
They were also in the middle of construction and the workers had wood and saws all over the passage to the beach. With a 5 & 8 year old this was less than ideal. They also started work early and played loud music which only added to the noise of the AC unit.

It’s remote. Short walking distance to Dollar General, Ice Cream, couple of restaurants, and most importantly the beach. It was our second visit. It’s not the Tag Mahal but we didn’t need that. It worked well for a single father and 4 girls
It met our needs. No issues

Quiet
Stairs to the beach steep. Dog was afraid to go up them. Cigarette smell around the room.

Beds were comfortable, nice bedspreads. Water pressure in shower was good and water hot. It has a lot of character.
We could not get the tv to work, no instructions, had to go get manager to set it up, too complicated for us. Very small room, no closet to hang up clothes, bathroom was in rough shape , wall repairs were a bit rough, no counter to set coffee maker on near plug. Wanted to check out early, office did not open until 9, we left at 7.

location, no beach front could not even see the beach, had to hike down landings& steep steps ,tv could not watch due to blacking out or not at all, mold on shower wall, no where to hang clothes , last straw seeing a roach In silverware drawer, I was done after that! Requested a refund for the for the two nights we did not stay, plus other charges that were not on the site, I do hope the continue to improve & I hope they make a great success of their Inn but we will not be staying there not user friendly at all for seniors, . I hope they spray really well too, that was the last straw for us.

Quiet, clean, people and family friendly.
Do wish it had a pool, but did have walkway to the beach.

Although I did not bring my pets I am happy to know that there is a place to stay if the need occurs. Friendly staff.
I would have liked a broom and dust pan in the room to use for sand clean up. I am sure if I would have inquired about a broom one would have been provided.

The rooms was very nice with a lot of room and it wasn't too far of a walk to the beach.
There was no hot water. If you let the water run for a long time it was just barely warm. Also, the property description lists it as "beachfront". Technically, maybe it is, but you could not see the beach from there, only trailers. It was on the beach side of the main street, but not what I would classify as "beachfront".

Staff was great! Location was perfect! I really enjoyed the boardwalk to the beach access!
Shower was not clean, had someone's leftover soap, drain grate was broken. Beds were accommodating, but not comfortable, but that's to be expected. Plug for coffee pot was inaccessible, unless you have an extension cord.

Basic beach room! I can see why, as you bring a lot sand back in hahaha - room had a tv, coffee pot, mini fridge and microwave! There is a dollar general directly across the street which was convenient for things we wanted/needed! Staff was great! Great location to the beach and shower at end of boardwalk to use! If you are a boujee traveler that needs a lot of amenities, go elsewhere! ☺️
The TV was complicated to get going but with the help of staff had us up and running quickly!
This area is not your booming tourist place , but for us that’s what we were looking for! More piece and quiet! Not a ton of food options in walking distance but a great crab shack, pizza joint and amazing food truck!

I love Salterpath inn for the location and laid back vibe. It's a no frills kind of place and It seems like they are working on improvements. I personally hope they stick around because these little mom and pop places are hard to find. You can't beat the location for the price. If your looking for high end with a lot of services this probably isn't for you.

Room was clean. Outdoor shower for rinsing sand off.
The place is tired. There was a chunk of wall kicked in and not fixed yet. The shower didn’t drain well at all. Tv remote had a bandaid holding the back on! Some sketchy people staying there.
5.0
I liked how close and accessible it was to the beach
The room was lacking some basics finishing features, didn’t have a lot of storage and no places to hang anything. Could have used some more decor & just generally some more love.
9.0
It doesn’t come with breakfast, but we have kitchen to cook.
No plug in the kitchen. Had to brew coffee on the bed.

Anything good about this motel was the mattress on the bed everything else was just poor quality
