It was a nice place to stay with a unique charming atmosphere and clean, spacious rooms.

This place was right outside of downtown La Grande on a quiet part of the street. It was very charming and the room was spacious and clean.

The place admittedly looks a bit cluttered outside.

Perfectly adequate and then some

Location, had nice extras like microwaveable popcorn, and Julie was very helpful and lovely.

Our room 114 had squeaky floors that could wake you up in the night if someone was walking to the bathroom.

Nice clean, warm comfortable room with easy access.

I liked the location, the access to the main road and ability to park directly in front of the room for ease of access.

The quiet location and the wildlife ( deer ) in the parking lot was a nice touch.

Exceptional

This is a well furnished, fully capable motel with everything one needs and everything of perfect quality. The room is compact, but feels airy. The amenities are in perfect order, ready to use. We also saw deer in the evening grazing on the lawn.

Comfy and cheap.

It was worth the price. The room was small, the shower was dark, and everything felt a little old. However, it was all clean, well maintained, quiet, and private. TV was decent, and I slept well on the bed. I would stay again.

It was just the place for our needs.

The Greenwell was perfectly located for us after a long drive through the mountains in the snow at night. Julie was friendly and checked us in quickly. She was quick to respond to emails. Our room was spotless. The motel is old and in need of updates,but everything worked, was clean and the price was right for a quick overnight on our road trip.

It was a little worn around the edges, but we expected this from the reviews, and it didn’t affect the functionality of the unit.

I got what I paid for -- nothing more.

For the money this motel is adequate. The lady that checked me in was very nice. It was dark and she told me right where to park. The area was well lit.

It is very outdated and they did not provide a couple of the amenities listed on the website (bathtub, hair dryer). Nice television and coffee. The bed was very comfortable for sleeping but I would suggest replacing the blanket and bedspread. I am sure they were clean but they were quite worn. Bathroom was very outdated and the shower leaked all night.

Showing its age but provided a clean and quiet location and needed amenities for our rest stop.

The room was quiet and clean and the bed comfortable.

Even with a short shower, it was a bit of a trick to keep the shower running warm as the water temperature fluctuated.

Very cool retro motel. Close to downtown. On the route to the freeway. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing fancy but worth the price and we slept well.

The gal was very sweet and personable. Traffic was low in that part of town, so the area was quiet. Although the motel is old, the room and bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well. It was nice to have a Keurig in the room with different choices of coffee and hot coco to choose from and the bag of popcorn was a nice touch. Nothing fancy but for the price, it worked for us since it was a quick trip to La Grande and just needed a place to rest.

The exterior of the building looks a little run down, the room had a musty smell to it, our floor was very squeaky, the guide button on the remote didn't work so scrolling through all the channels to find something to watch was annoying and while taking a shower the neighbors either flushed their toilet or turned on the water making my shower water HOT!

Front desk staff friendly. Room clean. Had coffee and popcorn in the room.

The room had been sprayed/cleaned with a deodorizer (?) that was overpowering to the point of discomfort. It was so strong one has to wonder if they were trying to cover up other odors. Wall clock ticked all night making it different to sleep.
