Very clean and charming Craftsman style house just a ten minute walk to campus.
Tasteful new furnishings throughout, including comfortable new mattresses and bedding. Kitchen includes quartz counter tops and all new stainless steel appliances. Updated bathroom with brand new tile shower and glass doors. Classic elements and exquisite detailing include: hardwood flooring and trim, built-in buffet, china cabinet and bookcases. Central air and heat. Washer and dryer. Relax with a glass of good wine on the covered deck overlooking private gardens with walkways, koi pond and Chimenea fire place. Great for any visit to Purdue or West Lafayette. People of all backgrounds are warmly welcomed to stay at our guest house.

The house was ideal for a small group of high school friends to get together. The lovely backyard was great for relaxing and reminiscing in the evenings. The house is so homey and beautiful and obviously well cared for. It was a wonderful stay and we are looking forward to the next time.

College tour weekend
My son and I came out to West Lafayette to tour Purdue. We needed a convenient location for a jam packed schedule. What an oasis! I didn’t expect to fall in love with this adorable, well appointed and unique craftsman period home. My favorite moments were early morning walks in the charming neighborhood. I’d come back to a fresh cup of coffee and sit outside on the deck surrounded by the sounds of nature in the backyard garden. Peaceful and ready to return. 10 out of 10!

Wonderful Location & Host
Lovely home with hosts that have included everything to make a stay comfortable and convenient. The garden and front porch were relaxing spots in the morning and evening. The location is ideal for visiting campus and for going to Lafayette! We appreciated the opportunity to be guests!

Peaceful Purdue Retreat
This house is in a quiet part of West Lafayette but within walking distance of the Purdue Memorial Union & Stewart Center. Clean and comfortable accommodations made my trip that much better than staying in a hotel. I'll be back!

Great Location & Great Property
We went to Purdue football game and this house was a great alternative to a hotel room. It was clean, spacious and had everything we could need. Would recommend for sure.

Purdue visit
Worked great for us! In town with adult son to help him clean out a home which he and his wife had just purchased less than a mile away. Loved the porches and the backyard. Love the details of a craftsman home. Hope to come back.

Can’t beat location or garden!
This is our second time renting this property and we’ll be back! It’s a lovely home, but the outdoor space is what sets it apart. We especially loved picking tart cherries and baking some wonderful desserts. Thanks for sharing your home!

The Arts and Crafts built-in cabinets, bookcases, and desk are beautiful. With the warm weather we were able to enjoy the front porch, back porch and back yard.House was clean and everything was easy to find.

Perfect Place our Boiler's Graduation Weekend!
The home is charming and clean, an the backyard is unbelievable. We spent most of our time out there when we were not at commencements events! Thanks, Jo and Joe - we will definitely recommend this property to others!

This property has beautiful woodwork throughout... most appears to be original from 1925 when the home was built. The back yard was amazing. A decent sized fenced in back yard with a bounty of colorful flowers. If staying in or around West Lafayette, this home is an excellent alternative to staying in a hotel.I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great House + Yard
The house is very nice and everything you could want on a stay. We didn't have warm weather else we would have hung out on the back porch in the neat-looking backyard. If we come back to this area I'd feel good using this property again.

Weekend to visit Daughter at Purdue
The house was perfect for a weekend visit to see our daughter attending Purdue. We enjoyed some outdoor meals on the patio and took lots of walks in the neighborhood and to campus. The home is lovely and we had lots of room to spread out during our brief stay. All communication with the owners was promptly responded to. We would stay again!

Amazing property. Pictures don’t do it justice. The garden area is perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Location is walking distance to most campus attractions.
If you have a larger group, plan your bathroom time accordingly. Will stay again.

Another great home stay
This was the second home we rented from Jo & Joe. We have enjoyed them both, but my wife really enjoyed this property - the one floor layout, the vintage decor, the beautiful and quirky backyard garden and of course the updated appliances. Great location so close to Purdue campus. We will be back for sure.
