Tolles Hotel in einer wundervollen Atmosphäre.
Man ist leider auf Roller oder Taxis angewiesen.
Wer einen ruhigen Urlaub möchte, sollte wissen, dass es viele Kinder am Pool gibt.

Nádherný tropický ráj na klidném místě, 5 minut pěšky asi nejhezčí pláž ostrova, možnost vypůjčení motorky, objednání taxi, rezervace výletů, vlastně skoro všechno co potřebujete zařídit pro vás udělají na recepci. Krásné, celkem dost vybavené fitko.
Wifi zcela téměř nefungovala. Pokud potřebujete během pobytu pracovat, budete muset sedět na recepci (což se moc nedá), nebo si pořídit thajská data. Snídaně byly hodně omezené a každý den totožné. Ze sladkého na výběr pouze jogurt nebo lívance/french toast, které si můžete dát s medem nebo třema přeslazenýma marmeládama. Navíc všechno co je třeba připravit z vajec dělá jedna slečna na dvou pánvích, tudíž pokud nestojíte 10 minut ve frontě, tak těch 5 lívanců co udělá okamžitě zmizí. Slaný výběr také nic extra. Taky nám hodně vadilo, že neuklízeli v průběhu nádobí. Dále hotel nemá bar, což je docela naprd, protože v okolí blíž než cca 15 min pěšky na obě strany žádný nenajdete. Má pouze restauraci, ve které také není moc výběr a zavírá v 18 hodin.

1 - emplacement : très bruyant, loin de tout
2 - personnel exécrable (rare en Thaïlande , ici c'est le cas)
3 - odeur extérieure infecte, intenable, petite rivière passante entre les bungalows avec de l'eau stagnante et croupie
4 - salle de bains : extérieure et pas couverte sur la baignoire qui ne sert pas à prendre un bain car l'eau est froide au robinet
5 - chambre : climatisation face au lit trop froide même au minimum, ce qui nous a valu un bon gros rhume, peu de rangement, rideaux en coton fin (réveil assuré à 6h du matin)
6 - piscine : sale, trouble, peu de transats
7 - scooter : ne louez pas ici leurs vieux scooters, ils sont dangereux

Loved this resort, beautiful grounds, lovely clean pool and such friendly staff.
loved the hotel itself….our only problem with the resort was the location and that was only because we didn’t have transport. we really needed to be in easy walking distance of restaurants (hotel dining closes at 6pm). we found a couple of places locally but not enough and still a bit of a dusty walk in the heat.

Swimming pool, gym and breakfast are of good quality
The employees are kind and pleasant.
The manager is not sympathetic
You will have to pay for litteraly everything extra
You don’t feel like a customer (i was asked to make change at 7/11 store in the very morning whereas i had a taxi to catch)
And the most important : Impossible to refill the bottle of water which generate unnecessary waste. Please change this policy !

We loved our stay at Tropicana Lanta Resort. The room was beautiful and the pool very clean. We also enjoyed our breakfast. The staff was very kind and friendly.

Loved how green the gardens were, the pool was lovely, good breakfast options, large rooms, outdoor bathroom is great except our had an unpleasant smell, the gym had everything we wanted and more!

the surrounding of the hotel is just beautiful, the rooms are big and clean
to my opinion not recommended for a solo traveler. most of the guest were young families or very adults (and I am in my 30s…)

The room was generally clean and bed was comfortable. The pool area was nice.
The bath / shower area was awful. Unpainted or tiled cement bath...not inviting also would difficult for some people and children to get in and out off.
Twice at breakfast the milk was off and other guests were complaining. Basic choice of food and breakfast area not a nice location with lack of decor, felt very unloved.
The recption staff were the worst I have experienced in my many visits to Thailand, when asking any questions or needing help with safe or needing fresh towels they were off and grumpy. Rooms were not made up at all over 5 nights, tea & coffee not replenished.
Other guests also commented of lack of friendless and welcome they had experienced.
Sadly I would not recommend or stay there again.

Site is very modern with beautiful plants, you can feel full privacy. In the apartment bed was massive and very comfy. Room was well equipped. Bathroom with open roof gave us an amazing experience, you can only imagine taking shower under the stars with palm trees around. Very recommend it.
Lighting in the room was dark not enough bright in the night.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. One of the best places we stayed in Thailand. The staff was really friendly and the room was really nice. The outside bathroom in particular! We even got an free upgrade.
The pool is stunning as well. There is a bathroom by the pool too, also with beautiful outside washtables.
I would suggest renting a scooter from the hotel (same price as other rentals), since there is not really anything in walking distance. The 7-eleven is about a 10 minute walk, but the road there isn’t really safe or well lit.
The restaurant from the hotel closes at 6 pm so you can’t go there for dinner, you have to go a bit further.
We rented a scooter everyday so we didn’t mind that.
Overall a really good choice if your staying in Koh Lanta, definitely recommend!
it’s possible you get company from some lizards in the outside bathroom. But they don’t do anything! :-)
a extra normal shower head would be convenient next to the rain shower head. i don’t like to get my hair wet every time so that was a bit difficult. the hotel provided showercaps though!

I have visited this place several times and always liked it. Bungalows are surrounded by lush gardens and well maintained. Pool area is nice and atmosphere relaxing.
Location might be a bit tricky if you don't drive motorbike yourself. Nearest beach, bamboo bay, is within walking distance though (just a few hundred meters). Presumably due to pandemic some services were cut down this time. for example housekeeping didn't automatically come every day, but you always got service if you just asked for it. Some breakfast options were also missing but breakfast was still good.

Beautiful garden and pool, spacious rooms, very clean and with all you might need. Nice comfy bed. The open air bathroom was a really special feature. The breakfast was excellent, very fresh! Quiet location. Kind and friendly staff.

Nice beaches in walking distance. Lovely greenery and plants throughout the complex. Clean pool and enough space for guests to enjoy it. Great individual terraces and spacious bungalow. We enjoyed evenings outside on our terrace and the plants helped to keep it somewhat private from the neighbours.
The fridge in reception with fair priced drinks was a bonus.
The reception and cleaning staff were polite but not very friendly.
We found the facilities and tours to be considerably more expensive than elsewhere on the island.
The outdoor bathroom was a novelty but in practical terms, the door was super loud and a bit fiddly to operate, and you can hear the neighbours a bit too well. The bungalows were only semi-detached so loud doors had quite an impact. We booked the deluxe bungalow with the idea of having a bath but we couldn’t get the water to run warm enough or fast enough so had to abandon the plan in the end which was a shame.
The breakfast buffet was also quite disappointing, we often arrived to find empty coffee pots and or fruit platters, on several occasions had to ask for cutlery as the tables had not been made up, and there was little to no variety - for a two week stay it’s not great.

It was amazing! Our best stay in Thailand. Beautiful boutique hotel located between Long Beach and Klong Khong, but near the hotel is the most amazing beach in Lanta. Everything was great, from our very clean and tidy bungalow among mango trees and the open air bathroom (awesome even in the rain), to wonderful people. Breakfast was included - rather basic, european style plus every day different thai style dish (eg pasta/rice with veggies). Scooters for rent (with helmet) for 250 thb/day, without the need for any deposit/leaving your passport. Room very big, bed comfortable. Near the hotel (8-10min walk) a 7/11 and a few reaaaally good restaurants - The angels restaurant (try the Khao Soi) and Jimmys chicken (delicious massaman curry for 100thb). We will definitely be back!
Things to improve (but nothing too annoying:))
- We had a problem with our deposit box, it didnt work quite well - we were given a spare key to the deposit box so it was okay.
- The wifi in the room wasn’t very good so we were using our own.
- Quite a lot of mosquitos in the room, but thats a thing about living in a beautiful garden - we bought a plug in mosquito repellent in 7/11 for 50 thb and it was fine. Plus, we had a friendly little lizard in our room so it was protecting us against the bugs :D

The resort is gorgeous and well kept, somewhat like a botanical garden. The interior and the facilities (gym, pool, massage rooms) are all clean and well maintained. The apartments are spacious and the exterior bathrooms are exquisite. The breakfast is simple, but very good. And last, but not least, the staff, especially the receptionist, is someone who makes this resort like a home; with a very friendly approach, warm and caring, she guided us to amazing experiences all over the island and helped us with each of our requests and needs. Highly recommended!

My stay in Tropicana was pleasant. The facilities are good, it's clean, breakfast has varieties, the staff is welcoming. In general I like open bathroom concept, it's especially nice during the day. However during night you need to count that all type of wildness can enter it and surprise you :D what I would highly suggest to hotel management is to add some net on the top which for example can manually be rolled over open part, for those people who prefer no surprises :) that would make it ideal.

The place is very well maintaned. The straff are doing a great job keeping everything clean and in order. Modern and cosy.
The restaurant were suppose to be open for lunch and dinner but it wasnt. The didnt offer free transfer to the beach either (even though it says so on the welcome information in the room and on their website)
The location is a little bit off if you like to walk. To get to other restaurant and the beach (in the evening when its pitch dark or during the day when its very warm you have to take a taxi or rent a moped) Not a big problem but good to know.

Hotel and rooms are very clean, amazing gardens around the property. The open-air bathrooms are a neat feature, beds were comfortable. The owner was lovely, providing excellent service and helping us organize trips.
