Breakfast was a good self service. Would have been helpful iof restaurants were open in the town.
Late access meant mounting outside stairs and then once inside coming down the stairs. One of us is disabled so this was a problem.

We chose not to eat their breakfast. It was 18 euros per person.
We arrived at about 4 in the afternoon. The front door was locked. The Front Desk person unlocked it while I was reading the information sheet by the door about how to get in. Once in the lobby and at the front desk, all the lights in the lobby and desk area turned off. The clerk kept turning them back on while explaining check in procedures. There was no one else in the hotel and maybe one car in the parking lot. There was no elevator. The desk clerk did help us carry our luggage up to our room on the 2nd floor. He had to turn on lights as we went upstairs. Even so the hall was dimly lit. We were given a code to use at the door at the end of the 2nd floor hallway to get into the hotel after it was locked for the night. We went out for dinner and touring at Giverny. When we returned to the hotel there were maybe 2 cars in the parking lot. We walked up the outside stairs and used the code to get inside the 2nd floor hall where our room was. We saw no other people in the hotel and we were there for 2 nights.
The room seemed clean. But there was no hot water pot to make coffee or tea in the room. There was a soap dispenser in the shower and at the sink. There was toilet paper but I do not remember any kleenex.
When we checked out of the hotel, there was a front desk manager and one other employee. We saw no other guests during our stay.
We misplaced our plastic room card and were told it had to be turned in to the front desk. We searched but couldn't find it. The checkout manager wrote his name for me in case I found the room card and asked that I mail it to him. (I found it in my purse the following day and did mail it back.)
The whole experience was creepy, from the locked front door at our afternoon arrival and the lobby lights turning off every few seconds, to not seeing any other guests for the 2 days we were there, to seeing only one or two cars in the parking lot the 1st night, to the dark halls. And I have never had a hotel NEED the plastic room card...

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, rooms very comfortable and clean
We were expecting to have dinner at the hotel but the restaurant was closed and we weren't told of this in advance - not very welcoming after a long day's drive and we had to go into town.

staff where great, parking was good
just needs updating it’s a bit tatty around the seems, also if you have a room to the right hand side of property a company out the back to late night jet washing of vehicles so if you have window open it noisy, that’s not a fault of hotel mind.

I was surprised by the very good quality of the restaurant.

It was a very quiet area in some pretty French countryside. It was reasonably close to Monet's garden, which was our main destination. It was a short drive to the center of town that included a variety of shops and restaurants. Overall, it was a good value and met our needs for an overnighter.
It was a little past its prime. The staff had limited hours.

Plain room with great manager. I wish that the facilities were more comfortable

It used to be a Logis hotel that had become rather tired. It has been "refreshed" with changes to the layout and new furniture and is much brighter overall. Bedroom and bathroom have been modernised
