Beaufort old home in a perfect location.

The location was perfect. We had reserved parking during a busy time at Beaufort and could walk from there. The breakfast was top notch. I loved sitting in the garden with the water and birds and reading my book.

An adorable and wonderful place to stay

Pecan Tree was so homey and beautiful and comfortable. We loved sitting on the porch, having tea, walking through the gardens, the proximity to all the food and shops, and the amazing breakfast!

Peaceful respite in a convivial atmosphere.

Perfect location right across from two fine restaurants and within walking distance of every Beaufort attraction. The innkeeper couple was cordial and knowledgeable of the area and historic home we enjoyed. They were friendly but not intrusive. The home was tastefully decorated with conversation pieces. Although the dining area was very pleasant, we took our breakfast meals on the wrap around porch. We were stunned by the friendliness of the local residents who would greet us as they strolled by and often strike up a brief, pleasant conversation. The breakfast was as fine as one would expect in the best restaurant. Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA have their charms, but Beaufort, NC is the friendliest place and the Pecan Tree Inn the best accommodation we have ever experienced.

That we couldn’t stay longer. That I didn’t have a light sleeping bag to stay outside in their lovely gardens. That my entire family wasn’t with me to enjoy this extraordinary hospitality.

This B&B was wonderful! Loved the spacious room and bathroom which were very clean, good food, friendly owners and staff. Enjoyed relaxing while rocking in the rocking chairs outside room and listening to the fountain at the Coy fish pond and watching the birds and squirrels at the bird feeder.

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like about this B&B!

Loved everything, but the breakfast was the best part. Hands down!

Everything was wonderful, and there was nothing I disliked. But if I had to mention one thing that would have turned it from excellent to perfect it would have been for the owners to be a little more warmly welcoming.

The breakfast was great. Overall it was a very good B&B to stay at. The location so near the heart of down and the docks was a real plus as well.

Not a lot was wrong. Just some suggestions. The sink in our bathroom flowed more than ample water. An aerating restrictor would cut it down a bit and save them some water and money.

Our first visit to Beaufort and the Pecan Tree Inn won't be our last!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn. It is very conveniently located walking distance to shops, restaurants and waterfront. The hosts are gracious and welcoming and the breakfast was DELICIOUS. They were able to accomodate a food alergy (with advance notice). The inn has been tastefully renovated maintaining it's charm, but with up to date furnishings and comfort.

The Pecan Tree Inn was convenient to everything and had a very welcoming atmosphere.

Location, close to everything, we could walk easily to shops and restaurants. The property was well kept. The room was very clean. Breakfast both mornings was amazing.

Very tiny shower for a big man. Hard to sleep through night with other guests and staff moving around, but it was our fault that we did not use the provided noise machine

I could tell that the owners/staff enjoy what they do - all the little extra attention to detail said that over and over again - we will definitely plan to be back, loved it!!!!!

The shower heads were a little hard to use in such a small shower - but everything else was great!!

Very good

The convenient location downtown near restaurants and the waterfront was great. We had a very nice ground floor room and my our daughter was able to bring her dog and enjoy the nice pet friendly room on the back porch. We all thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts prepared every morning and served by our charming hosts. Hope to return in the future and we will surely recommend the Pecan Tree Inn to our friends. The Neill’s
