Grandioser Ort - ein Highlight der Insel - tolles Frühstück
Kein Supermarkt aber Bar und Restaurant - Abstriche beim Bad im historischen Gebäude

Beautiful location. lovely old hotel.
A shelf in the shower is always helpful. There was no shelf. A small matter.

The view and breakfast were exceptional. I really enjoyed both !
A little creepy when you arrive at night because it seems to be a old church with bedrooms and the decoration is like in old castles but once you're in your room, you feel more confortable.

It was very pleasant to stay in this little village, and also to stay in such a unique old palace.
The host was clear in his communication, but it would have been nicer if he had made us feel more welcome, especially as we were there for a week. We always felt a bit as we were intruding and inconveniencing him. The cost for having a pet seemed a bit high.

The town. But this is not related to the hotel itself.
Go on your own risk. I would definitely NOT recommend to anyone. The hotel is almost a ruin. There are infiltrations that go to open electric cables. Which is super dangerous. Some of the rooms may be updated, but the one we got was a dump. The bed was actually two stacked mattresses, the bathroom had no door, but just a transparent curtain, and of course, no toilet in the bathroom. We had to use a toilet in another room of the hotel. There was not even a plug in the room. The only plugs were in the shower room, dangerous again. They say rooms were soundproof. Not when you can stick a finger through the door and the wall once the door is closed. And I can keep going. Everything shows lack of interest from the management, althought it is a nice building that with some TLC and some investments could become a great hotel.
PS. The 19km to the beach are made in about 40-45 minutes because of the road. So close in km but not in time.

The location is superb, so is the place itself. Food was the best we had in the whole Corsica. The owner is very friendly and accommodating.
We were there in July and it was quite hot, room was warm even throughout the night but opening windows and using the fan did help a bit.

The hotel is located on a small Plaza. You Will find excellent medieval hiking trails from the hotel. The dinner is excellent, especially the local varieties at the menu.

Great place, even if a stayed just for a short night during Bikingman Corsica. Very good dinner. They provided me a breakfast for an early start in the morning.

Fabulous location. Friendly owner. Amazing structure, needs a little loving care but well worth a stay.

The village was beautiful and peaceful. We loved our room in the attic, it has nice view over the rooftops . Dinner and breakfast were excellent and the host was really friendly

Excellent breakfast. Fabulous old building that is very well kept.
Disappointed that we couldn't have a drink or meal at the location the time of year we visited -- I think it would have been wonderful.

The location and restaurant were ok.
Employee had very little interest in the guests. Very small bed and bad matress. Hotel is in rough shape. Breakfast was overpriced and simple.

Fantastic location, 600m up in a 'perched' village in the Haute Corse. The property has a lot of charm as it is a former Cardinal's palace! The evening meal was also excellent. Very friendly staff. .
The bed did not have the most comfortable mattress, but that was the only thing that we could think of commenting on!
