Everything! Beautiful setting with lots of separate seating areas, great lawn & view of the river, attractive & spacious room, excellent breakfast & happy hour snacks.

What a beautiful location on the river. We sat by the river for both coffee and wine. Breakfast was delicious.
Room was a bit small with little counter space but the jacuzzi tub made up for it.

Location is just convenient. There’s a lot to do close to the place. Hiking, hot springs, fishing and river activities. Breakfast was absolutely over the top!. Everything is fresh made there. Delicious.

The lodge was absolutely lovely it sits right on the river bank. The setting is beautiful. We played cornhole, drank wine and relaxed in the evening. The made to order morning breakfast was wonderful while dinning on the deck . Lisa and Kirby (The Inn Keepers) couldn’t be any more welcoming. We will be coming back to this Gem!!

The best place we stayed at during our trip. The property is lovely, the location is beautiful, the breakfast was super tasty and the owners were very nice

The breakfast was delicious! I was curious what dinner would have been if prior arrangements were made.
Not much the lodge can control but it’s quite a drive to nearby attractions or different places to eat.

The owners are so nice and accommodating. The Dragonfly room was a beautiful, large room with a very comfortable bed. We had use of the grill outside on the deck for dinner we brought to fix up. The breakfast was amazing! The afternoon free beverages and appetizers were an added bonus! We will definitely be back!
Currently the area is very burnt from the large forest fire of 2020. This is out of the owners control and they have beautifully maintained their property, a portion that was not burned in the fires.

The place is a paradise right next to the McKenzie river, across the river is a mountain - very romantic scenery. The room is very comfortable, the bed and sheets are like in the upscale hotels. It's very quiet and private. The garden has a lot of beautiful flowers. Breakfast is delicious and wonderful. All in all highly satisfied. I have already recommended to a couple people!
Not many food options for lunch and dinner around the area.

``Excellent full breakfast. Terrific staff and owners! Beautiful location. Books and games available. Wish I could have stayed longer. I have already recommended it to several people.
We had a truck and the parkig was tight. I saw another lot nearby, but not sure if it was available for guests. Otherwise, all was terrific.

I had modest expectations for a lodge deep in the forest, all I wanted was a location by the river. When I saw the room (The Owl suite), I was floored by how spacious and well-appointed it was. This is the kind of place people come to for honeymoons or special anniversaries. I knew I had unwittingly hit the jackpot.
Bathrooms are a big deal to me and this one was spacious, the shower was subway-tiled, the personal care items were the kind you find in fine hotels. In addition, the room had plenty of closet space, the thermostat was easy to figure out so the room was kept cool at all times, and the BED was SO COMFORTABLE, I slept like a rock.
There was a balcony with a view of the river, where I had my dinners. The outdoor space by the river has plenty of adirondack chairs and chaise lounges.
When I first arrived, proprietors Lisa and Kermit welcomed me with a glass of wine and a plate of appetizers. They were friendly and extremely helpful throughout my stay. Each morning, breakfast was served on the beautiful outdoor patio, and the food was delicious and plentiful.
In all, I spent 3 days and 2 nights at the Eagle Rock Lodge, and that time was the highlight of my 8-day trip to Oregon.
This is not the fault of the Lodge, but there aren't many nearby dining options (or much of anything nearby; be prepared to drive at least 20 minutes for any type of services - which BTW is also one of the things I LIKED about the location) so I'd recommend doing some grocery shopping beforehand and storing food in the in-room refrigerator (moderate size) and tiny freezer; perhaps bring an inexpensive picnic cooler with you to store overflow grocery items. Also - this didn't bother me at all but others might not like it - there was a fire in the area in 2020 so the view across the river will include lots of burnt-out trees, and the neighboring areas have a lot of fire damage. For some, it might kill their buzz, but like I said I didn't mind it.

We loved everything about our stay but the gorgeous setting is our favorite. Kermit and Lisa were wonderful hosts and we made new friends.

Great place to get away from it all. The river right there. Beautiful grounds along with the very cool wood carvings. Rooms wonderful and breakfast delicious. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful setting, friendly hosts, tasty breakfast, comfortable bed. The property reminds me of Snow White's setting in the forest: tall green trees, lots of lush landscape and vibrant-blue Steller's Jays flying in to feed. My most enjoyable moment was drinking my early morning coffee near the river in an Adirondack chair in peace, watching the ducks and ducklings float on down the river and back.

The breakfast was so delicious. We had a choice of breakfasts each day!
The Lodge is right on the McKenzie River. There were plenty of chairs to sit and watch the wildlife and river go by. Totally relaxing. The new owners, Lisa & Kermit were so accommodating. It felt like we stayed with friends! we plan to make this at least an annual stay!

Sandy and Don are very friendly hosts. The breakfast is delicious and we ate breakfast in their outdoor patio. Everywhere is clean and guests keep distance with each other.
