Staff made us feel like family! Amazing location, very unique decor.
Room was a little dusty, is on the antique side but very fun!

Close to village
Had central kitchen to store food and cook
Quiet in my room
A/C turned off at 2am … no controls in room, had to open windows and put on fan
A little noisy in patio area

Death in family 2 days before. Tried to cancel or change dates. Owner "Ross" didn't care. Kept all our money and probably re-rented the villa so he had double money. Terrible guy. Ugh!

The location was fantastic. Near Lake Arrowhead shops and restaurants.
The linens appeared worn and old. Very small rooms. The hostess was a bit rude when I asked if they had laundry facilities, she made a commented "for the amount of money you spent on the room you shouldn't expect so much" ...what?? That was strange, and a bit out of line. They published the room for a price, and I booked it. What a strange comment.

I liked that I had a place that was central until I drove three hours and got there to find out that the place had been given away and the staff isn't available after 7:00.
They will not honor your reservation when you arive .

I like the a unique European style and location
the room wasn’t clean enough when we checked in: dirty, dusty floor, the top blanket had the awful smell like someone had the pee in it, so we removed it on the side, we stayed 2 nights: no one changed our towels and didn’t clean room, especially floor as it was raining and of course our floor became a mess when we came in room. But other was pretty good: facilities, stuff was friendly.

Love the ambience of the place!
Gathering room, whole kitchen, fridge, stove...home away from home!
Isy was the most accommodating hostess! Providing candles when lights went out!
Love to come back for our anniversary!
Will pick a room w/little seating area next time.
Bed just little to high for me as leg issues...but comfy bed!

Isa is amazing. We arrived early at no extra charge. She showed us around and made us feel very comfortable. We arrived on Thanksgiving day and she cooked us a Thanksgiving Dinner. Above and beyond. The Great Room and Kitchen are well stocked and comfortable. Isa did an amazing job decorating it for Christmas. This made our stay extra fun and helped my daughter and I get into the Christmas spirit.

Closest to village. I was first showed a very small dark room with no windows which I said I would not stay in. They gave me another room with a balcony which I liked. However in 4 nites no one ever came in to clean the room, change the towels, empty the garbage or change the sheets. All the rooms are dated with no AC and a separate heater.
The guy who checked me in looked like he just fell out of bed, unkempt and although I checked in at 2 pm, he was surprised and thought it was 10 am. Also, he could not hear. You have to make your own breakfast and cook it in the kitchen and clean the dishes. Ashtrays were outside on the balcony with stinky cigarettes.

Breakfast was "do it yourself". Not good! Location was great.
Lake access was difficult. Staff was rude when calling for help on this. Exact words were "stop calling here".

The price was good.
My husband's father passed away and we were unable to attend our niece's wedding. I booked this through booking.com, and they said that they would have refunded the money based on the circumstances, but it was up to the hotel. Hotel staff said absolutely not. We found a relative to stay there at our expense. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Update after the wedding:
We were able to find a relative (in her 30s) to stay in our room for the wedding. Unfortunately, when she was checking in the host argued loudly with her about the dates for the stay. After finally acknowledged that they were correct, he took her to the room and was so rude and demeaning that she was afraid to stay there. The room was also not very nice. So, as far as we know no one was in that room for the two days we prepaid. The attitude of the host was accurately reflected in other negative reviews.

Booking.com wrongly communicated my dates of arrival with the property owners. I had an email saying the correct dates of arrival (fri & sat) and Roscoe had an email saying different dates (sat & sun). Even under these very frustrating circumstances, Roscoe went above and beyond to make sure I was able to stay in the room I had originally reserved. He wasn’t expecting me that night so he had to come down from his living quarters to check me in, he was very generous and gave me a tour, and made sure I knew how everything in my very charming room worked. He’s just such a sweetheart of a guy and I really appreciated the hospitality.
When I was there highway 18 was closed so there were detours on a busy weekend. There was a lot of car traffic past the hotel which is positioned right at the top of highway 173 which made it a bit harder to disconnect from “the real world”. Hopefully they get the highway fixed soon.

The staff was terrible and the room was so small and so dirty. The floor was sticky and the whole place was in disrepair. Honestly you’re better staying at the resort nearby or booking an Airbnb. I’m surprised if they ever have repeat customers.
The better question is what was there to like? The management was so terrible.

We enjoyed the cleanliness and the staff. The owner's manager was fantastic!
The owner needs to monitor the customers checking in---we waited for some time before we located the hotel manager in the back---she took very good care of us

My friends and I stayed in the Villa. We went mid-Feb, in between snows, which was beautiful (do beware of the stairs). We ran into Roscoe upon arrival and he showed us our room; otherwise I guess check in is down the stairs in the shared area.
The location is great. A short walk to the village.
-Pizza right down the hill was good!
-Lake Arrowhead Brewing Company-great brewery on the edge of the Village. There was a food truck when we went.
-Lake Arrowhead Boat Tour was a really nice way to see the lake. It's a 50 minute tour and you can by tickets at LeRoy’s Boardshop right by the dock. We bought our tickets an hour before (I think they only sell day-of) and got a coffee up the stairs while we waited.
-The Grapevine had a brie bread bowl :0 and a lot of other good looking food that we didn't get to try. Right on the lake with in and outside seating.
The general vibe is what you see in the pictures--kind of out dated decor, large furniture, a little dusty. Our booking listed kitchenette details, but I think refers to the shared kitchen because we didn't have any of these in our room. We really didn't spend much time in the room and aren't too picky. If we stayed again, it would mostly be for the location and price.

Isy the made was trying to help! but the whole experience can’t change! it’s not recommended for you or your family!
It’s not good and comfortable place for kids. It was very dirty. the owner was not easy to talk. Everything is out dated, even their coffee!!
there is no microwave or … in your room you have to go out to the lobby in the cold snowy winter to use microwave.
I could not stand the smell of their air freshener.

Each room is its own little suite. very quiet. Love that they provide fully stocked kitchen. And they offer bottles of wine for good price.
They could have put down a lot more salt to keep the ice from under foot.

Unique and different with stuffed giant puppy holding a big heart resting on the bed. Painless heating with a fireplace inspired heating unit which kept this hexagon shaped room. Multiple windows with a partial lake village view and pine trees laced with snow. Main reason I liked it because it was the Fleur de Lis room French inspired, very French Quarter pleased my wife since we had met in French Quarter New Orleans 39 years ago and we were celebrating our anniversary. Both Roscoe and Liz ? the manager help my car out of the parking by plowing snow. She offered us her deceased dogs sweater for my dog. Finally, complimentary glass of wine on arrival was the ice breaker.
Bathroom supplies were non existent besides only 2inch soap bar. Bathroom with a Jacuzzi had no shampoos. Old and wet towels were a turnoff. No fridge. Christmas twinkle light wrapped around the wet metal stair hand rails made me think twice before to hold on to them without a risk of getting electrocuted.
