The restaurants were very good.
Old. Rooms. Needs updating. Not as close to town as we wanted.

View of Boldt Castle from the balcony. Stayed on July 4th and saw fireworks over Heart Island.
The cost to stay in a run-down, outdated hotel was ridiculous. Breakfast was also overpriced, and the food was terrible. If they want to charge high prices, they should hire a chef and a maintenance crew. The outside pool is gone. The inside pool did not look clean, and the hot tub was broken.

Beautiful room walking distance to bars, pubs and restaurants. We will be returning next summer.

Outdated , couldn't use patio black flies.food was awful, Mike the bartender was awesome though.other male bartender was a real jerk.wouldnt give us plastic cups because he said it cost them money but when I offered him 20 bucks he gave us a sleeve.hot tub was over run by kids and 24 7 by middle eastern family who swam with clothes on.Clayton 1000 islands harbor hotel was 5 star.now we know!!! Ants all over the room

Food was okay, not quite up yo whst others rated. Unfortunately, there was minimal staff - one server in Riverwalk serving 7 tables, 4 of which had between 5 and 12 people. She was fantastic, but barkeep could have helped instead of chatting with patrons at the bar (same 4 people sat there the entire time). Again, next morning 1 server, with bus person clearing serving all the tables.
Beds that fit average people, way too short!! Outside of property needs maintenance and care. Should probably update decor.

Location good
We were looking forward to a great breakfast that we’ve had here before.
My husbands breakfast was awful,
served cold-he did not eat! No breakfast.
I was asked if I wanted more coffee (said yes please) & them the server never came back with coffee - no coffee served!

Overall a good one night stay. Originally booked room someone had smoked in, so were switched to different room. Great river view and view of Boldt Castle. Front desk staff were very helpful with room change and information about local area attractions. Ate at both indoor restaurants. Dinner in their pub style room and breakfast in the Windows room. The food in both venues was very good, quick service, staff very pleasant and attentive.

I got a king suite and it was half the size that I've gotten last year, and couldn't even fit into the shower, was like the size of a small closet. I couldn't even move in the shower, my elbows just hitting the walls.Bar tender inside wàs rude like I was a bother to her. And I got over charged and no one called me to let me now when I got a pro rate when making my reservation, my second night was almost double, my TV was half the size, no Keurig like I had last year, I had like a $5 coffee pot which was garbage, my bathroom sink was in my room not the bathroom, and I had two sinks last year, carpets where stained, and I hardwood floors last year, and a wedding was going on no one told me of, they where very loud, so I should of been compensated for that or someone to let me know in advance that there was a wedding going on right next to my room. I was not very happy with my room and what I was charged and what I was supposed to get that I didn't. And the inside bar tender lady was very rude

We enjoyed the food at their restaurants (on site). The view was great. The Tiki bar was great. Last, it was nice and close to town.
I needed to have them replace my comforter on the first day. There was something on it :(. They should toss some of their pool towels. They have holes in them.

The bed and jacuzzi
The walls were very thin. The workers next door were blaring loud music while they were working. We could also hear our neighbors.

The size of the room and the jacuzzi tub
There lack of maintenance was evident. The walkways were not shoveled in a timely fashion, there was a renovation taking place as well. So, repair equipment seemed to be everywhere, items from the rooms were left in the hallways like mattresses. Tons of dust and dirt, just wasn't a pleasant overall experience.

Very rundown!!! Needs complete overhaul...outdoor pool is gone so they have a great deal of nerve charging so much for the crummy rooms...will not return!

Comfortable beds, nice balcony, friendly cleaning staff, named Jackie. Grateful for front desk person who provided us with help to find CVS in Watertown. (due to trouble with an Rx.) Thankful we never heard another's toilet flushing! :o)
We are in our 80"s, and used to a railing in the tub for security. NONE in our bathroom. Making it difficult to avoid slippage!
