Sorry not sorry

I liked the cottage, the gas station was close by and so were the stores, a few restaurants and also parks. The people were friendly.

I didn't like to have to ask someone in #7 to go fishing on the pier/dock. I felt like I was being watched the whole time to make sure I was following the rules. One man told my husband to not lock the front door when we leave because they wouldn't be able to open the door. This was a different man. To many people telling us what to do and none of them look like they work there. It was a little confusing. We were there 3 days and couldn't get clean towels. The blinds were broken, which allowed people to see inside. There were ants in the kitchen.

Disappointed

The housekeeper, Maureen was so helpful. She went above & beyond providing things that were missing (iron & extra fan). The shower head was wonderful.

The loose & stained tiles on the bathroom floor; the ants in the bathroom, kitchen & living room, the living room & bathroom ceilings looked like they will fall soon; the front door didn't lock--I did not feel safe; the bedroom carpet was filthy.

That it was clean quite and I liked cause I didn't feel like I was in a hotel room I felt like I was in the one bedroom apartment or something very clean very nice I gave this hotel a hundred percent beautiful

Huge rooms blew me away like a stick of dynamite in my undies.

The accommodations were phenomenal! The value was outstanding times 3 and 1/2!

Initially the owner was somewhat rough around the edges but he turned highly attentive and polite by the end of the stay.

everything was great for the price. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions and concerns. It was nice having my coffee on the deck by the water. We will definitely be back.

Not as pleasent as I would have expected. That place needs a lot of TLC

No breakfast offered.

No extra toilet paper, broken chairs, air conditioner very noisy, no soap for the shower, light over sink in bathroon inop,shower fauets all leaked, entry door would not lock from the outside closet door compltely broken, no hangers for the clothes to hang up, carpet in bedroom and living room both needed vacuuming. I have photos, but I am not sure how to attach them. I would like very much to have a conversatio withyou about all of this. 1-352-408-1112

I would not recommend to stay here

hot water and good water pressure that’s it

the a/c didn’t work just screamed the whole time had to turn it off, missing light bulbs all thru out the place

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay, so much so that we plan to return,

The property had coffee service. There was no restaurant on the premises. This was in accordance with the listing. Our host, Ben, was very helpful, friendly and professional. The property is quite old but charming, and homey, with knotty pine walls. The appliances, however, are quite new. There is also a deck with a beautiful lake view and a BBQ.

We had a difficult time finding the place due to lack of signage. We also had trouble opening the lock box. After several minutes trying to open the lock in the dark, we called our host for instructions. There is no porch light, there should be. There is a coin-op washer and dryer, but, I had to call Ben to find out where they were located. Actually, lack of information is my only real complaint. Multiple renovations over the years have resulted in light switches in places one would not expect. It would be helpful to have a handbook listing the odd places you will find things as well as how to operate the various locks. One last thing. The listing says 2 bathrooms, there is only 1.

The location was amazing right on the lake can’t ask for better well if the water level was up but property has no control of that

Couldn’t tell if it was mouse crap or coffee grinds under the couch cushions the smell of the cats was overwhelming that roam the property we walked in after driving nine hours got back in the car 15 minutes later and drove back home another nine hours tried going to the local casino across the lake it also was very nasty all in total 19 hours in the car for a total waste a trip message the property owner that he himself needs to look at this property I never got a response never got a refund
