great veiws

the view and the balcony where wonderful. the staff was cheerful and helpful.

The beds were too tall. I am 5'5'' and the top of the mattress was at the top of my hip bone. I had to use a chair to crawl in.

It was an excellent stay.

Excellent view of the ocean from the room balcony. Fire-pit was a good place to mingle. There were many good restaurants at a walking distance, Free breakfast was a bonus. Staff was very friendly. Very good parking garage.

Enjoyable and worth the drive.

View was excellent. Room was well appointed.

No instructions for using thermostat. Didn’t realize it was a touchscreen. Cigarette smoke from fire pit was smelled from 3rd floor. Breakfast was rather skimpy.

I wish we could have stayed longer as it was perfect!

The room was phenomenal! Extremely roomy, beautiful view, very comfortable, with a perfect layout and added amenities.

Maybe a place to eat breakfast indoors would have been nice.

Can’t wait to come back!

The location is great. Right on the beach. Parking is very convenient and staff is super nice. They offer cookies in the lobby everyday. Our room had two king beds and a balcony. The room was super clean and pretty big. The fireplace was nice. They have grab and go breakfast, salmon chowder in the afternoon, coffee, tea, hot cocoa always available in the lobby. The firepit area is nice as well. Definitely will be coming back!

View & room were amazing, one of my favorite places to stay in Newport staff were very kind.

Was a bummer to find out that rooms are only cleaned on request. Found this out after being out of the room today & walking back in to our piles of dirty towels still on the floor. This wasn’t ever brought up to us, so we didn’t know. We’re able to get clean towels delivered after calling. But something about coming back to the room put together makes for a good vacation when you’re a mom who does it all.

view from the room, fire place, very comfortable king size bed, salmon chowder offered at 5:00 PM was excellent. Close to restaurant (within walking distance). Beach access was close.

We used to go to the Hallmark Inn close to you, NOW we're coming to the Elizabeth!

Everything! Tad was so helpful in optimizing our experience with information and support. It could have been a horribly sad situation in that we (3 friends) were picking up the artfully encased remains of her 15 year old daughter, but it was a hugely supportive time for us friends. I felt that they were there to do what they could do to help us celebrate a young life without any additional worries about lodging. One friend asked that her 2 beautiful flowering plants be placed on the balcony before us other 2 girls arrived. They gave us the feeling they would do anything to make our trip better. Above and beyond.

We loved everything! The staff, views, room size, amenities, etc. It was all perfect for our family getaway!

The staff was amazing and the room and view was awesome.

The breakfast needs to go back to continental. The 5pm Salmon clam chowder was amazing. We had it both nights along with the homemade cookies.

The hotel was pet friendly but you couldn't bring your pet to the fire pit area. So, we didn't use that part because we didn't want to leave our pet in the room.

Very pleasant place to stay

The room was exceptionally quiet, pleasant well maintained. Breakfast in the lobby was a nice feature and the food was decent. Cookies in the evening was a nice touch as well.

The balcony door latch did was not operating and didn't secure the door. The room was extremely dark at night, might be nice to have a dimmer switch on one of the lights. The tv casting feature was a plus as it allowed me to play some of my own steaming content, great picture too. The sofa was a bit uncomfortable.

I had a very wonderful time the only two things I recommend the hotel do is clean the pool/hot tub, and fix the elev

Love the balcony view of the ocean. The cleanness of the room, and the hospitality of the staff.

The pool and hot tub needed to be cleaned. The elevator was slow. not a fan of grab and go breakfast. love to sit down and enjoy breakfast with waffles, eggs and bacon, etc.. only thing I recommend if continuing grab and go is having extra breakfast sandwiches because there was none when going down to get breakfast.

Great spot to stay and happy with it

Great location, gorgeous room and view!

They need to make all the doors not slamming. Or put big signs saying don’t let doors slam. Starting at 6 AM we could hear every single person exit or enter their room from their doors SLAMMING behind them.
