The location was perfect! Close to the shops and across the street from Short Sands! Prefer Long Sands? No big deal, very short drive and still so convenient!
The room was clean and the view was beautiful. Everything was exactly what we hoped for.
Though this is not a review for the restaurant, we also ate there for dinner and it was amazing! Highly recommend and it’s just downstairs! :)
Zero complaints. At first we felt a little unsure of who to contact for ice etc, but that was quickly cleared up by speaking to their lovely hostess’s (at the restaurant) who were amazingly friendly & helpful.

I loved the room! Beautiful wrap around porch! The location was perfect because we walked right across the street to the beach and shopping.
The only thing we thought was off was that place had a kitchenette, but no can opener, no peeler for potatoes, and very little plates, bowls, silverware.

Our room was great! Good location!! Great view!!
Noise at night

View
Music was much louder than anticipated from the inn

Great location, well kept room, great night life, and excellent staff. Music went until ~12/1am which was no problem for us; it was entertaining but also inside the room you don’t hear what’s going on downstairs. Drinks on the deck listening to music or heading downstairs to join the crowd; either or was perfect 👍
Lack of microwave

Location was great! Beach is just a short walk across the street. Close to nice shops and great restaurants!
Wasn’t aware the music would be going til 12-1am. Was aware it could be heard in rooms but wasn’t expecting it to be as loud and as long.

The inn is very charming and in a beautiful location, but there are no staff on-site to deal with questions or issues. The room had no hangars, the TV did not work, there was a coffeemaker but no cups and and an ice bucket but no ice anywhere (which we needed for some minor injuries). We had a single key and would have been toast had we locked ourselves out of the room. There was an enormous air handler for building ventilation mounted to the exterior wall of our room, and the first night it was blowing constantly, which kept us up. We enjoyed the town but will not return to this hotel.

We did not have breakfast. The location was nice. Not what I expected. Unsure of their check in/ check out system as we never found an office. The staff was wonderful.
There was no microwave in our room but the owner did accommodate us with one. There was no place to put your clothes if you unpacked other than on the chair in the room. It was cold in the bar/dinning area as the doors are kept open most of the time.

very stylish. located near ocean
noise ! it’s above a nightclub / Restaurant. live music on a Tuesday till 120 am I had a headache from the pounding base sound. terrible night the second night we noticed they were closed but the exhaust was outside our room window again no sleep , and the beds are hard platform’s , if I had not paid in full ahead of time we would have left.
5.0
The location and the room had plenty of space
The floors were filthy, very dirty, like they were never cleaned. Every thing else was clean. Also, the toilet constantly ran and the freezer had so much frost build up that you couldn't fit anything in it.

The room was terrific,we really liked it.The shower was great.Could have used a microwave, and was not happy to see those Kerrigan coffee things—they are very wasteful—too much packaging, and you can only do it their way—one small. cup at a time. How about a regular coffee maker?
The staff was very nice, with the exception of the young girl guarding the dining area, when she isn’t on her phone. She was very rude and unsmiling. She has too much power,or she thinks so.
Oh,wow! Reggae night—are you people KIDDING? First of all,it is canned music. But that is hardly the worst. It is unbelievably loud.Loud beyond loud!
Telling people that music can be heard in the rooms does not cover it.The windows were shaking as were our teeth. It came on at full volume and continued for hours late at night.Deafening.There wasn’t a chance of sleeping through the pounding bass and drums. All the songs sounded the same and ,we did not recognize a single one.Unbelievable.We thought we had gone to hell.Reconsider this terrible idea. What happened to real music,at a reasonable volume? Terrible,we can never come back!

Close to the beach. Comfortable room.
Dusty! Ceilings, walls and ceiling fan were very dusty. Just needed a little more attention to clean it up really nice.

The location was perfect for our family. The suite had an amazing view.I would highly recommend Inn on the Blues. Just be prepared for some late night music if you decide to stay there. It was no problem for us but could be an issue for anyone that sleeps early and lightly.
The kitchen was convenient - the only complaint was that the fridge was too small for our group.

Location was excellent!!!
Walked to the beach. Wasn't open for breakfast.
Food and drinks were good.
Four females with one bathroom-ugh!
Bed in one room not comfy.

central location, clean, right next to the restaurant, friendly and accommodating staff, spacious sleeping quarters, comfortable beds, quiet.
the stairs were too much for my disabled mother to go up and down frequently. parking was a little scary.

Convenient location to downtown York and the beach. Entertainment a few days either dj or live band. Clean, parking and exceptional customer service . Fine dining on premises and bar if you so desire.
Stairs no elevator, travel lightly if possible. The exceptional help of the staff made up for anything. Always available!

You cannot beat the location. The restaurant's food was delicious and convenient! The room was super bright and clean. The staff was very helpful. We loved being able to stop in our room quickly from any location in town.
We did stay when the Inn had a band playing each evening which made falling asleep pretty rough, but that wouldn't deter me from booking again.

I liked the location and room size.
Had to wait an extra 15 mins to check in for some “last minute cleaning” however when entering the room, we found a toothbrush in a drawer, an unsecured AC unit and a broken paper towel holder with only two pieces of paper towel and no extras. No on-site service so you have to ask the hostess at the restaurant downstairs for help so she can contact the people who service the hotel. Clogged bathroom sink, bathroom door didn’t shut, toilet was always running and un-level stairs at the top of the step. Not worth the money spent in my opinion.

The hotel was close to short sands beach.
check in was odd, check out was confusing, and no notice of a live band playing until 1am.

We had dinner downstairs in the restaurant, it was very good. The service was very good also. Our stay was exceptional, bed was very comfortable, room was too. Everyone was very accommodating.
Loud live music on Friday and Saturday night, we had expected that though. The first night was rough, but the second night we were too tired to care.

The staff was great. The beach was maybe 50 yards from the Inn. Everything is within walking distance. Beds were very comfortable.
Kind of tight room, not conventional. Couldn't open the windows there were no screens. No draws for clothes. Bathroom was tight, very little room on the sink for toiletries.

I love the location of the Inn. I think it’s absolutely perfect and really charming.
There was hair in the shower that wasn’t mine or my fiancé’s. The white shower curtain had stains on it. There were no rugs on any of the floors which was a little weird to me. There was very small pieces of hair in the bed, and I thought the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Some things should be updated for aesthetic.

Our room was nicely decorated and was very clean. The parts of the Inn we saw were also nicely appointed and clean. It is located in a great part of York Maine, across from beach, near shops and restaurants, very walkable to things.
We booked at this Inn because there was a restaurant on premises but we found out upon arrival it is only open on weekends. It turned out to be for the best because a private party was hosted at the restaurant one night and it was loud late into the night. The other thing is there really is no staff. There was a phone number to call if you needed anything but we often did not get an answer when we called.

Staff was great, room was very clean and relaxing. Location was amazing.
Check in and out was a little confusing, didn't really know where to go since the bar was not open. Thought there were 2 beds, not a big deal but futon was hard this not comfortable for sleeping - had a hard time sleeping as a result.
4.0
The location is great and the bed is comfortable.
The staff were not very helpful. They left us (and other guests) waiting for two hours to check in even though we arrived exactly at check in time and then were not apologetic, only giving excuses as to why there was no one there. Then they gave us the wrong key. The whole process was frustrating and badly managed and wasted a lot of our time. The room itself was disappointing as well. It felt run down and not well cared for.

The owner was so sweet and accommodating!
