Lage Top, Hotel sehr in die Jahre gekommen

Die Lage ist top, das Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich.

Das Hotel benötigt dringend eine Generalreinigung, Generalreparaturen. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig aber eben wirklich sehr veraltet, schmuddelig, der Duschvorhang wirklich gelb, der Fön funktionierte nicht, USB Steckdosen existieren noch nicht. Im ganzen Hotel sind viele Ecken einfach runtergekommen und schmuddelig. In das Schwimmbad, welches wirklich kaum jemand nutzte, kann von der Straße aus reingeschaut werden, man fühlt sich beobachtet.

Das Hotel besticht durch seine Lage mitten in der Altstadt und ist für einen Kurztripp geeignet.

Die Lage des Hotels und das Parkhaus mit direktem Zugang ins Hotel

Das Bad. da kein Haltegriff an der Badewanne vorhanden war und die Glastrennwand fest verankert war, war es sehr gefährlich zu Duschen ohne auszurutschen. Wir (70 und 76J) haben dadurch nicht geduscht. Punkt 2: eine sehr unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin im Frühstücksraum, die uns um 10Uhr (Frühstücksende) rausschmiss und freche Widerworte gab. Sie war überfordert, da 300Tagesgäste im Hotel waren. Alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich( Rezeption, Bar usw.)

Sehr schönes Hotel

Die Freundlichkeit von dem Personal. Sehr hilfsbereit wenn man fragen hat. Das deluxe Zimmer war gut und groß. Das Badezimmer war sehr schön und auch gut ausgestattet. Der Wellnessbereich bzw. der Pool und die Saunen waren für die vielen Leute zu klein. Wir sind daher ausgewichen auf andere wellnesseinrichtungen was für uns aber kein Problem darstellte. Daher kein Minuspunkt, da das Personal auch berät welches man besuchen könnte. Zum Frühstück können wir leider nichts sagen da wir außerhalb frühstücken waren.

Nimmt lieber ein anderes Hotel

Die Lage ist gut. Zimmer war sauber.

Für das Frühstück mussten wir zusätzlich bezahlen obwohl wir der Meinung waren, dass wir dies mitgebucht hatten. Ging anderen Gästen aber wohl genauso. Rechnungen musste auch komplett vorab bezahlen. Kein Wasser auf den Zimmern. Bademäntel und Handtücher durften jeden Tag von der Rezeption geholt werden. Frühstück ist echt mickerig! Lt. Beschreibung haben wir was anderes erwartet und kennen es auch anders. Saunas funktionieren nicht richtig. Im Poolraum war es stockdunkel. Nur Whirlpool war beleuchtet. Mussten schön aufpassen

Nice room. Good shower. Good breakfast , very central, right by the station and lovely pool ( though a little cold) but the jacuzzi was great though. All in all great hotel. It has a restaurant too. Goslar is a really nice town with lots of old buildings. Really loved the hotel :)

Good location, right between the old town and train station. Great facilities, like spa, pool, car park and bike storage room.

Only one thing really bothered me: the bathroom was a bit too small.

Location ( very close to the train station and to the city), carpets on stairs (acoustic measure), butter machine in the breakfast room and great staff (10 of 10). They managed to clean my shirt for the next conference day. Fantastic catering during the conference. No technical sounds in the hotel room - this is highly appreciated.

I could hear other guests talking on the floor on their way to the breakfast room (in the morning). I wonder if it was possible to fix this..

Been there - won't be back.

Liked the look of the hotel. Large & sunny room. Restaurant staff were very helpful.

Very difficult for a person in a wheelchair. How can a person in a wheelchair even find out how to enter the hotel or where to park unless they have an able-bodied person who can help them? So many doors that a wheelchair person cannot open by themselves. Moving from one elevator to another. Very difficult to get to restaurant on lower floor. Beds were so soft they were uncomfortable. Felt like I was going to fall out of bed all night - mattresses need rotating on a regular basis - so did not sleep well.

Very good

Fairly large hotel which was at times quite busy. Nice sauna and a small pool/spa area which we enjoyed. The bar in the connected building is a beautiful, historical set of rooms.

The bar closed very early (before 10pm) after which nothing was served except in a vending machine. Breakfast buffet was very crowded at peak hours.

Breakfast was fine and the service during breakfast was good.

Vers poor service in the reception during check in. Negative attitude from the young lady in the reception, our frist impression was that we did not feel welcome at all. Sauna facilities very need a upgrade, no fitness equipment, only two very old bikes are available

Cool hotel in Goslar inner city

The room was very spacious and the view was amazing. The hotel is located directly on the north of the inner city. If you come by train, that would be a nice option for you. All the staff was very friendly and professional.

I didn't like the parking situation, since they don't have a parking lot themselves. Although I know it's not their fault, the extreme heat (August 2022) made the stay a little bit uncomfortable and the room didn't have any fan (I wasn't really expecting AC to be honest). The check out could be a bit later, in my opinion.

sleepless in Goslar

Location to City center

Just a horrible experience from the obesity guy st the reception at check-in to the room. If you are after a good night sleep this is not a hotel to stay at, No AC means you have to leave the windows open when it is warm but then there is constant noice from the buses and traffic just outside and the nearby train station.

Horrible room to the street. We took a pitstop to sleep after 7 hours drive and next was also 7 hours five. Drunk people shouting all night until 4am. Room had no ventilation so very bad air quality. Morning buffet was total chaos! NO clean tables and way too few service people to clean tables up. We spent 15 mins just to capture a table and get hold of knife and spine etc. Buffet at 9am was already 50 % empty and no refills of youghurts and crosants etc. People after us was desperate and angry as well. No napkins at all. A huge disappointment in all aspects and then at a 170 euro pricepoint. A hotel i will never use again nor recommend. Its total chaos and service people was stressed too. It seems totally unmanaged this hotel.

Restaurant - excellent service and food.

Breakfast - on the final day the breakfast waitress queried the fact that I had only paid for one breakfast - myself. My wife only having a cup of tea! This was the same for the whole stay This was an embarrassment to my wife!! The reception team did not have any full details re the little town train - which we always enjoy at any town we visit. There was no availability for tickets to be available from the hotel - but this may be through no fault or control of the hotel.Throughout the stay - there was no bar available or lunchtime meals.
