The location and views are wonderful. The facilities for kids are amazing, plenty to keep them entertained even on rainy days. The pool is cleverly split into three to enable kids of different ages to all have lots of space. Breakfast was tasty and the restaurant staff were lovely.
The floor in the room was very dusty and bit dirty. Overall the menu food felt overpriced and average, especially for vegetarians. Mixed experience with the staff in the Four Bears Den, some were lovely, others a bit grumpy. Not clear on whether they change nappies - we collected our son early because he was upset, but he also had a dirty nappy (despite us leaving the nappy bag).

Great location, very nice and clean. Plenty to do if you travel with children or as a couple. Would highly recommend

On arrival we were told that our room had been upgraded. The room that we were given was absolutely beautiful and certainly helped to make our stay very memorable. The reception staff were excellent, very friendly and showed us where all the facilities were. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but the breakfast and lunch were lovely. All the staff that we met were warm and welcoming especially in the restaurant and the spa. The wreath on the day was very blustery, but I can imagine that if you were staying with children there would still be more than enough to keep them entertained.
There was nothing that we didn’t like and plan to stay again.

The room was beautiful and the way they cater for kids was amazing. Everything from playroom, to cinema room, playground to even having purées on the menu for the smallest ones was amazing. Staff was super friendly and did everything they could to help.
Food was extremely disappointing. Everything that came out of the restaurant and the pizza tent was very basic, didn’t taste much and very expensive for what it was. Althoug breakfast buffet was nice. The room was amazing and nice lounge area in the main house but the swimming pool and other areas really felt like they just put a bit of paint on and felt very dated and not as nice as we’d hoped. would have been fine if the price was lower but for what we paid for we expected a lot more.

So many things for kids to do, grounds and hotel itself were really nice and the view was awesome :) rooms were great and it was evident that they had really thought about families and what they need. Food in the hotel was nice too!
Not much to be honest....pool could have been a bit warmer but that's about it!

The room was comfortable but it was very noisy.
Dinner service was a shambles and although I was refunded promptly by understanding staff it wasn’t a pleasant experience

Bedroom clean, nice terrace with view, beautiful communal areas, nice private place. We have everything what we needed in bedroom.
Bathroom wasn't as clean as I'd expect from 4 star hotel. I found hairs on the floor in both bathrooms. Bedroom a little bit small. No information in
room with number for reception, swimming pool openning hours etc.

The property is located away from the main beach area but idyllic relaxing location. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient. They have thought of just about everything you may need or wish to do during your stay and children have indoor and outside activities in abundance. We found this hotel through a booking site and will definitely be going back for another, hopefully longer, stay.
everything !!!

staff members friendly and helpful, hotel is really clean, so many things to do, good location, so many things to do for kids.
we didn’t like a noise until 12 o’clock in the evening which was in front of our room so was hard to sleep until switched off, we guess there was a ventilation from kitchen….

The staff were fantastic, so kind and brilliant with our young daughter.
The hotel interior is so well curated and the facilities for children are excellent. Would be highly recommend for families.

Nice hotel, very clean.Breakfast was also good.Staff very helpful.
We did find the building noise intrusive.Given a room which was one of their newly decorated superior charged at £220(approx per night)right outside the window drilling began at half 8.On second night woken up at 6 in the morning with furniture being moved around.

Beautiful property, amazing position overlooking the sea. The property was well furnished, complimenting the style of the building. All the staff were professional, friendly and welcoming. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant and throughly enjoyed the experience. Good food, sat next to a roaring open fire with brilliant service. couldn’t fault the breakfast in the morning, good choice, well cooked and tasty. It was also lovely to see that the hotel was clearly family orientated with children well catered for and also dog friendly. Loved seeing owners with their dogs walking around the hotel. would definitely come again and bring our grown up daughter and make use of the spar.
The property was having a lot of restoration. not a problem but it would have been nice if it had been mentioned at the time of arrival so that we could understand the noise in the morning.
Only other very slight point is that it would have been nice to have a few more tea bags in the room. One each just wasn’t enough for a whole stay when there was more of an abundance of coffee and herbal teas. However, we asked the waiter if we could have more during dinner service and he straight away came back with more supplies that we could take to our room after our meal.

The room was excellent
The breakfast did not match the quality of the room - poor quality cold ham, cereals were limited

the location is wonderful, the furniture and decorations are modern yet fit perfectly. comfy sofas!
The main dining room was not in keeping with the rest of the house.

The thing that really stood out was the attentive staff and a rare, completely faultless breakfast. I struggle to find places that can get every element of an English breakfast perfect and this was.
