The setting was beautiful and the resort was luxurious.
We really don’t have anything bad to say about the facility. We were a little disappointed that we couldn’t use the outdoor pool on the second day but that was certainly a minor inconvenience. We were able to use it the day before.

Comfortable and good service
The food is not at the standard of the hotel. Especially breakfast is very disappointing. No variety at all, long time waiting for service.

I was on a frenetic family road trip with two dogs. We had chosen l"Albereta because I knew it was calm and had lovely gardens in a tranquil setting. The grounds are exceptional, set as they are against a lovely vineyard from the Bellavista winery. So there were plenty of long wooded walks and exploration of the sculpture park. However top marks go to the restaurant, which I remembered being good, but proved to be absolutely exceptional. The chef really knows what he is doing and gave us fairly classic dishes, but with really inventive twists. We are still debating our favourite dishes. Mine was probably the strawberry gazpacho with purple prawns - I was pretty dubious at the combination but it was fabulous - something different kicked in after every mouthful. And I loved the clam risotto, the incredible carrot starter, the red mullet.....and there were Dover soles, from Dover, which were enormous and cooked a la mugnaia. Greed certainly took over. The sommelier too was fantastic - really open and friendly and he introduced us to some incredible wines, including an orange Gewurtztraminer which was really special. And Kudos, too, to the pastry chef. We fortunately tried the rum baba which was up to the standard of Stohrer in Paris, which allegedly invented them !
The dogs too were treated very well, with individual pet beds, a fancy feeder and bowls and gift boxed gourmet Italian dog food, which looked delicious. Of course they didn't like it but that's a dog for you. My room had two small terraces which meant the dogs could wander.
There was only one small hitch and that was that the breakfast service was ...let's say confused. The food and ambiance were excellent; the individual waitresses were delightful and friendly and helpful, but the organisation of the whole left room for improvement.

Amazing location, beautifully maintained area.
Friendly and helpful personnel.
Great choice of wine at restaurant and in a bar!
Air conditioning which was not strong enough for the room. Probably it was really hot outside and our room was under the roof, nevertheless it wasn't comfortable even during the night.
Quite scanty breakfast was included in price.

Grounds were beautiful, room was spacious, breakfast was excellent
Need to pay to use facilities such as the pool/gym and breakfast team wanting to charge extra for certain items unannounced

location, restaurants, services, staff
breakfast is really good but in my opinion I think you could offer more choices like waffles, crepes, and so on

Stepping into L’Albereta is entering a bubble of understated elegance. Nothing fancy, just pure Italian chic from the rooms, to the restaurants and the spa. No need to say service is as impeccable as it is lovely. And we particularly appreciated the personalized attention we got.
We will definitely be back next year!

We had an excellent diner with beautiful wines. The service was very good and the hotel is surrounded by a wonderful garden.

Location top and service
The restaurant is good but nothing special or at least it doesn't reflect the exceptional rating of the hotel itself

The food was the only think worth the money spent in that place.
Massage at the spa, the worst experience massage ever had, not professional and not relaxing.
My GF booked a small cake to be delivered in our room for my b day as a surprise after dinner. We found the cake in the room a day before my bday date, which ruined totally my bday weekend mood. The reception simply said we apologize for the incovenience and thats it.
Breakfast: poor and not organized.
We ordered 2 orange juice and 1 espresso, only 1 orange juice arrived after we already finish our breakfast.
The second orange juice and the espresso never arrived, so we decided to leave the hotel one day earlier and run away.
Cherry on the pie, payed the bill and we realized that they also charge us the cake that my GF sent it back to the lobby.
What a sad experience !!

The location of the structure is optimal, immersed in a green oasis that is completely perfect for disconnecting from the noisy everyday life.
Even though it is a 5-star hotel, you cannot eat at the time you want when you arrive at the room service, which is restricted to the restaurant. Very poor snack menu and poorly served.
Certainly to be reviewed .....
