About this cottage rental
A gorgeous and completely modernised cottage in a seaside village in North Wales. Beautiful 19th Century cottage that is a 2 minute walk to 2 beaches and the harbour. There are cliff top walks, local pubs, and a hot tub overlooking the river below.
Our cottage is a magical place. The stylish living and dining room has a wood burning stove and amazingly comfy sofas. Wait until you walk through to the back and see the view to the valley, the river at the back and the wildflower walk. It's a 19th Century cottage that has a lot of history. There are low ceilings and a quaint wooden staircase.
It is fully modernised, so is very comfortable and there are full facilities such as dishwasher, electric shower and downstairs w.c.
The kitchen at the back leads to the full spectacular effect of the house. There are opening doors in the kitchen/diner that lead to an upper decking. You walk out and can see the whole valley with the wildflower valley and river in all it's glory. Walk down the garden steps and get to a bench to view the beauty. The another set of steps and you're at the bottom and ready to sit on the table and chairs an have cocktails and dinner to the sound of the nesting birds and the river.

What a magical property
Spacious , fantastic location and the most stunning view from the garden
Wonderful host.

Lovely quiet place to stay
Information book needs updating as unfortunately some places have closed down, but if you are looking for somewhere quiet this is perfect! Teenager lived in the hot tub, dog sunbathed on the top deck (steps too much for him) and me and my husband enjoyed not having to drive for a week!
Lovely beach

Great property in a lovely location, loved it thanks so much.

The property was beautiful, in a great location. The surrounding area was amazing and we got so lucky with the weather. The Bay View & the Stag were great pubs and the chippy directly opposite was a god-send on arrival. The facilities at the property were more than sufficient, more than enough of everything. Couldn't recommend more.

What a perfect place to zone out and refresh your body and mind from a busy life. The cottage was cosy with a lovely log burner and comfy beds. Easily assessable for the village shop, chip shop and pubs as well as the harbour and beaches. A must visit is the nearby windmill and bakery with its beautiful donuts. Hot tub was also a big plus.

Just returned from lovely 2 nights stay.
Cottage is great with everything you could possibly need. Hot tub a bonus.
Great area with easy access to the beach.
Enjoyed a couple of drinks at the local - the stag. Really friendly pub who were very welcoming to us and our dog.
Would definitely like to stay again.

Lovely old cottage which is cosy and welcoming Excellent location for beach , river and coastal path walks. Access to garden is by steep steps slippery when wet but lovely patio area by river when you get down to it. Love the hot tub ! Cottage is in need of a little TLC and new pillows! Owner of property very helpful.

The cottage was loverly, exactly was we needed as a base to explore the idiocy setting.
Rachel had left us some essentials in the kitchen and the soft tub was a bonus to unwind after a hard day exploring.
Great communication throughout would definitely come again

Great location, clean and comfy, our only niggle, and it may be due to lots of reasons is the garden could do with some maintenance, shrubs cutting back mainly to appreciate the view more. Overal though a great cottage, well equipped and good location.

This is a lovely property, ideally located and very well appointed. Some of the fitments are a little tired but still perfectly useful. The creeking floor boards go along with the creeking bed but thats what makes it quaint. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cottage right in the centre of the village, has everything you need, the only down side was the steep back garden, we didn’t realise how steep and we have a dog so it was difficult, but lovely views over the river and to sit with a glass of wine.

The cottage is cosy, warm and well furnished. It is on a quiet village street but at the back overlooks a rivetr which flows into the sea a couple of hundred yards away, flowing under a bridge.

Great place to walk the coastal path of Anglesey. The locals are super friendly and The Stag pub is worth a visit. We had a perfect weekend walking and relaxing in the softub in the evening. The information Rachel left us was great and she was the perfect host. The place itself has everything you need.

A nice location. Property had all that we needed and lovely garden. Overall, the property is a little tired such as carpets and decor. Cleanliness could be improved.

Great location for walking and accessing local amenities. Cottage a little tired could do with a lick of paint but overall good, plenty of facilities provided. Garden was over grown but again ok. Property owner was extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in a little earlier than advertised.

Had a lovely stay in this cottage, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thanks to Mel for leaving us a pint of milk and some jammy dodgers :)
This is a great location with the beach just a short walk and plenty of pubs and cafes nearby so you don't even need to leave the area. The area out back is lovely down by the river and we enjoyed the softtub on both nights of our stay, I would certainly recommend this place to anyone
Thanks so much

This was our first time holidaying in Anglesey and our first time in this lovely little cottage. We booked the cottage as it was well priced, catered for the needs of our family and was really close to the beach - just a piggy back ride for the little ones. Cemaes is such a quite and peaceful place with plenty to keep you occupied in the cottage if the weather isn't great. The hot tub was a hit with all ages!

We love Anglesey and we came here for a mini family moon after getting married. The house itself is quirky and quaint with everything you need and more. It’s ideally located. Right next to the beach, shop and pubs. The car park always had plenty of space and the village is lovely with the most amazing people that live there. The hot tub is lovely after a day on the beach. The owner of this property is excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The property is very tired and needs lots of maintenance work and a proper deep clean. We stayed with our elderly relatives just as restrictions had been eased in May and upon walking into the property, although the floor was damp in the kitchen, there was no evidence of cleaning products being used anywhere throughout the property. Major faults throughout the property were: mould and dirt due to lack of cleanliness-especially on underside of rubber mat in shower tray, threshold strip not secured in bedroom with screws sticking up that are dangerous, handrail at top of stairs not secure, floor at bottom of stairs was loose, the cooker wasnt clean-we had to wash grill pan before we could use it, stool in kitchen broken, kitchen bin dirty and broken inside with sharp bits of plastic, toilet seat broken in downstairs toilet, dangerous steps and hand rails on outdoor decking area, urine stains on mattresses.
We were really looking forward to this holiday with it having been previously cancelled due to Covid and we contacted the owner who was very quick to respond. However, our observations backed up with photos seemed to be trivial to the owner and we made the decision to continue with our holiday as best as we could.
