Central location, loads of space. Lovely and clean.
Parking on side streets was tricky to get spaces. Very hot inside and noisy from the road
6.0 / 10.0
The host was really communicative and helped me out when we came in a different car and needed to change the reg on the permit. The fact permits are included is great.
Location was perfect for the wedding we had in central Worthing. There are lots of shops and supermarkets nearby and it’s a 5-10 mins walk to the seafront.
Double beds are really comfy, and the showers are good. It was clean and tidy, generally, and towels and bedding were provided. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 and my sister’s family of 4.
We didn’t use them, but there’s a washer and dryer which I thought was good.
We knew it was above a pub and so expected some noise but on the Friday night there was live music and a DJ, outside, until well past 12:30pm. It was unbelievably loud, not the chatter and glasses you might expect from being above a pub. The windows are single paned and may as well have not been there. Fortunately the kids sleep through anything but the adults all got very little sleep on the first night. It was significantly better on the second night. Beware of staying here on a Friday night if you’re not out partying yourself! The road is also very noisy but that bothered us less.
The kitchen was equipped ok but we had to re wash a lot of stuff as it was filthy. We used the dishwasher but it has no salt or rinse aid which explained why all the glasses in the cupboard looked so awful that we had to wash them by hand before using them! There were some filthy clothes in the cupboard under the sink, and some of the wooden spoons etc just need binning.
The table only seats a fraction of the number of guests the apartment can hold, so we had to feed the kids and then the adults sit down later.
The single bed in the single/ double room was so uncomfortable - you can feel every spring. The windows need replacing - the frames are cracked and peeling; I couldn’t open the one in the bathroom, and when they do open, they’re so wide you couldn’t leave a child unattended in a room with an open window (they’re huge sash windows).
This place just really needs some love and attention. If we’d paid £250 for the weekend I’d have thought it was excellent value for money but at £500 I would expect it to be much better.

The apartment had space and was clean. The furniture was suitable and had a good location.
It is situated above a pub so every night we could not sleep till the music, which was loud, was switched off at 11pm. But some nights later than that. It has very poor WiFi. So poor that the TV barely worked. It also affected my work as I needed to have my computer on and the connection was ver slow. To access it was had to enter through the pub which offered no privacy. The noise of shifting bottles and the rolling of beer containers was rattling every morning by staff who was discarding the spoils of the night before. The apartment was also situated near a busy roundabout with lots of traffic. The constant noise of traffic and emergency vehicles started early in the morning and continued through the day, intensifying at the end of a working day. Because the windows were large and old (not double glazed) the noise was constant which meant the children had trouble resting. I would not recommend staying there unless your group is a student part of under 21 and doesn't need sleep. On arrival I called the host who was not ver friendly about explaining where the apartment was and how to access it, seeing that it was above a pub and the door was the pub door. This was locked and it took me a couple of texts and a call to convince them to come and open the external door. All this with 3 children and bags. We had to sit outside for 20 minutes for someone to open the street door Not a pleasant start to the stay. I would not stay here ever again.

Good location, convenient check-in/checkout. Helpful with parking permits. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids.
Badly insulated apartment (curtains move with closed windows). Showers should be a lot cleaner, oven was also dirty. Otherwise fine and we had a good stay.
Noise comes with the location and was expected, so not a complaint for us - but needs to be kept in mind when booking.

we actually stayed at York road house which was down the road as we was upgraded and we couldn’t of been happier!
the only thing which is not big but the coffee machine didn’t work

Very spacious, comfortable beds and in a very convenient location.
It wasn’t very clean on arrival, we had to wash a number of glasses and crockery before use and gave the apartment a general wipe down as it was quite dirty. once we’d cleaned it we felt very comfortable.

Location, size was good and big for a family of four adults and three kids, pub below was excellent, food they served was in pub was superb, nice beer garden
Could do with a lick of paint just to spruce it up a bit
Kitchen items could do with a look at really, we ended up tightening the handle on the frying pan as it was about to fall off, pots and pans were just about at the end of there life, we even had to go out to buy a tin opener and chopping board because the chopping boards provided looked like a bacteria melting pot was living on then
It is located on a very busy road junction, and because it was really hot we had to keep windows open so this did affect our sleep a lot, but hey at least it was hot and sunny so look on the bright side, and may not of been that much of an issue if the windows were shut.
Biggest problem really is the street parking, you get a permit which is great but finding a space if you arrive back from a day out late is a logistical nightmare, a couple days we parked a good ten minutes walk away and that was after half an hour of driving round looking
Also even with the permit my Stepson found a parking ticket on his car one morning, that said once we contacted the owner of the property they sorted that out with the local council, which I would like to thank them for

Simple, clean and excellent location. Pub staff are excellent, can't solve the ghost experience riddle though!
Nothing that wasn't to be expected, it's above an excellent pub after all

As a family of nine with some eating issues it was ideal.
Property was rather dirty food bits in dish washer . minimal pots and pans tumble dry extractor covered in dust, which my husband cleaned.

Location was good, not far from the beach and shopping areas. Two supermarkets on the doorstep.
The apartment was well equipped. I didnt realise it was above a pub until after I booked and was sent the text, but it was fine, not too noisy. We had a great time!
Beddings a bit worn.
Fabric cover dining chairs stained.

Plenty of space and facilities were good for a group (large family in our case). Parking permits were needed and provided. Very near to supermarkets and short walk to town and beach.
The noise from traffic and the pub below were intrusive, especially on a warm night when windows needed to be opened a little.

Big space for England. Has been renovated at some point - but not maintained.
Good location across the street from a grocery store and a only a couple of blocks up from Worthing pier. 10 min walk to train station.
Good for a group of friends who dont mind staying up late (its over a pub). Not good for a family who wish to cook or go to sleep before 1230/1 am.
Washing machine worked well and there was a dryer! - no detergent provided though.
Main bedroom had an ensuite!
Sitting room gets a cool breeze at night.
The noise. We had windows open all night cause its summer. Pub noise was not too bad and it shuts down at 8pm on Sun. But, the space overlooks a major traffic circle. There was constant traffic noise, including big lorries and motorcycles. - We never slept entire 3 night stay.
Air conditioning would make the space more useable but because only single paned windows, traffic noise still loud at night with window closed.
At the very least a bunch of fans for the bedrooms! - A cheap solution. :)
The biggest shame is that someone took the time to do pretty nice renos but the place has not been kept up.
Dust on basebosrds, calcium deposits on shower heads and drains, paint or white goo on brown roller shades, doors of kitchen cabinets greasy, utensils looked unclean. Major gross issue under kitchen sink - rust or some kind of brown deposit everywhere. (We were looking for detergent) We did not use kitchen as it did not feel clean.

great location and lots of space. very convenient and a great space for a group of friends to stay. the pub underneath also very good and is worth a visit if you are staying at this apartment.
could off been cleaner, the kitchen area very dusty and bits all over the floor. the larger fridge freezer needs updating looks damaged on the outside and not very clean internally.

Lovely apartment. Spacious and well equipped.
It was very noisy in evenings until about 12.30am but we were warned beforehand so it didn't bother us.
8.0 / 10.0
It was clean and tidy. It is situated right at the centre of town and close to shops. It is close to the seaside so we were able to go sightseeing and access local restaurants.
We hope to stay here again if available for the period we’d like.
The dinning chairs could do with a change or covers as they are hard to sit on.
Finding a place to park can be tricky especially if you return late at night.

the apartment was very big and there was enough space for all 10 of us to move around. loved the double shower en-suite. all beds were very comfy and everyone slept really well.
as we first walked in there was crumbs on the kitchen side and on the chopping board and the microwave was pretty filthy but apart from that it was very clean
the double bedroom door would not close so had to use something to prop the door shut so I could sleep in private
the fridge was not keeping any of the drinks cold
on our second night both showers were coming out cold water
we was not fussed about any of the negative side of our trip as we had a lovely time but just had to be honest to the questions. :)

Big & spacious. Well equipped for the most part. Bathrooms have had money spent on them
in the past. Comfortable beds. Very responsive owner. Good central location.
Noisy- single glazed windows were draughty letting in dust and road noise, can’t open them either. Kitchen area could do with a better clean. Broken chair, and not enough of them. Low on cutlery, mugs and bowls. Dated electrics in places.
Pub noise (which we were expecting) however loud bass music went on till midnight both nights.
Synthetic bath towels!
Asked to walk around the outside of the pub to enter from side door by pub staff having been customers of the bar downstairs…?

The food from the pub was very good
Its above a very busy pub with v loud music til late. Then people drunk outside and shouting til 2am.
Very thin sash windows.
Not clearly advertised as being above a pub. It was in an email just before i was due to arrive. Too late then to rearrange as it was marathon weekend.
Not suitable for children . Massive sash windows that open fully.
Also the kitchen needed a good clean
I tried to email the owner via the app, I wasnt rude or unkind but she blocked my emails.
Definitely not recommend

Very spacious apartment. Light and airy. Good location in the centre of town. Excellent sleeping arrangements for a number of guests. Three good-sized bedrooms, one with en-suite, plus a good sized lounge with two comfortable sofa-type beds.
The only down-side was the availability of parking. We interpreted the advert as meaning there were plenty of parking spaces on site. In fact we had to drive round to try to find parking spaces in nearby residential streets or in an expensive car-park nearby. Temporary parking permits for the residential streets were provided, but they were of little use on our arrival.

Clean, spacious, great location, good food and drink in pub below and everything in the apartment that we needed (including towels which wasn't shown on listing).
Only slight issue was that parking wasn't on site per the details but in controlled parking zone on the road. Permits were supplied.

Very spacious apartment, comfortable beds and well equipped with everything you need. Location is great
We came to spend time with family who live in horsham so was a nice distance
The attitude of certain staff in the pub, hence we only used it the once and chose to avoid it after that and used neighbouring pubs that were very welcoming.
which is a shame because the garden area is lovely at corner house and the booths are cosy
The staff in the kitchen who we chatted to a few times were lovely as was a gentleman who i think could be the owner, we shared the same birth town too

Near to the shops.
Couch, mattress and pillows needs changing, difficult to clean the cloth sofa despite cleaning and spraying deodorizer still smells. Difficult to find parking.

Everything! This apartment is amazing, has so much character, from displayed art, mirrors and natural decor. Plenty of light, great size rooms, sun shines through every morning. Great location to town center and the beach.
Would definitely come again.
Some of the bed pillows, not the pillow cases, smelt of sweat from previous occupiers.

Excellent town centre location with all amenities within walking distance.

Information sent well in advance. Bar staff were helpful to help me find the way through as without the keys unable to use the side entrance on initial arrival. The bathrooms were great and the facilities. Ironing board was small but usable. Plenty of fridge space. Hosts very facilitating of car parking passes and were happy to bring over extras when more were required.
Some small notes for awareness: You are unable to use private entrance on initial arrival and warning that there is a small trip hazard there. Plug sockets in the lounge were high up but a extension lead was provided. (One of the lead ports was faulty). The parking bays for the stay have to be defined as 10-11 and 2-3 not the areas with limitations from 9-6 (roads closer to the main road).

We found the size of the property just right for us all.
The location was very convenient and the pub below was not too noisy.
There was plenty of fridge and freezer space which we appreciated.
A coffee pot was provided promptly on request.
There was a shortage of utensils, bowls, table mats. Breakfast things were all available but we cooked three evening meals and it was more difficult.
The bed linen and towels were not comfortable to use. Pillows and duvets could do with renewal.

Good size flat
Smart TV
Poor cleaning, dirty oven, damp stains on the walls, dirt on the cutlery and in the draws, sit on most surfaces.
Loud music from the pub below for an hour after It closed despite being advised as suitable for children to stay.
