Good location. Damp smell. Basic kitchen facilities.

Good location. Near to local marina, restaurant and supermarket, and not far from regular bus stop to old town. Good walking routes nearby.

Damp smell throughout. Superficially clean but all hidden surfaces were thick with dust. Only two rings for cooking in the tiny kitchenette - no microwave/toaster/grill. (Ground floor apartment)

A comfortable stay

A friendly and warm welcome. A clean, comfortable and complete room amazing view peaceful neighborhood What more! I recommend it to everyone and I stay here every time I come to this area.

Amazing host in Dubrovnik

Marko, the host makes the entire worth it just by himself. Upon arrival, he checked me in and spent 15 minutes telling me about the area, giving me local tips for sights, food, and activities. All of that based on what I cared about. He was being nice and I'd recommend the Cosmai Residence to anybody that's looking for a quieter stay in Dubrovnik. It has all the comfort that one could wish for. (Bedding is nice, AC works well, bathroom is nice). There's an unlimited while bean coffee machine one can use, as well as everything to cook/clean. You can also use beach towels to go to local beaches (10 minutes walk from the place)

The hallway where the rooms are is a little loud but that's a small detail.

Stay here, it's 10 out of 10

The residence is in a brilliant location. 5 minutes walk from a main bus stop, 2 seconds from a lovely restaurant and 5 mins from the marina. There's a really good bar at the end of the road too There are several beaches in easy walking distance, each of which has a different vibe The room we had was perfect, well equipped and clean. Facilities to cook and keep your own food, which is an excellent money saver if you're on a budget. The best thing about it was the host, Marko, who couldn't have been more helpful. He gave us plenty of ideas of what to do, where to eat and which beaches were best suited to us. He put us in contact with a car hire company, which saved us money and the pain of choosing which one to use. He really went out of his way to help. Every holiday destination needs a Marko. Stay here, you won't be disappointed!

Cosmai cozy and worthy residence in Dubrovnik!

Location close to the marina but also to the old town (by bus 10min), facilities (including free parking in the street -we were helped to find a spot- and shared kitchen), clean room with nice view, quietness and super friendly staff (recommendations and tour were amazing to enjoy our stay at best!).

Note: the rooms are on the second floor with stairs -as all around the city (not a problem to us). Also, free parking in the area can be tricky to find (but we were helped so no problem).

A warm and cozy room that gives you space to breathe from the Dubrovnik old town.

A small but fantastic residence with a wonderful view on the Adriatic. This location is really quite and feels 'tucked away' from the busyness of the center. We thought it was just the perfect balance between "in-civilization" and "out-of-civilization". In terms of safety, there is a multitude of heavy-grade locked doors - we never thought about safety...Right next to the residence is also a wonderful restaurant, the Yacht Club Orsan. Cheap and hearty breakfast options with mouthwatering seafood. Upon arrival you will be greeted by Marko - a lovely local who lives there with his wonderful family. He made us feel exceptionally welcome and talked to us about the best sights and restaurants the city has to offer. He was honest and thorough with his recommendations, 10/10. Besides that, he was very reachable - always on hand via text. He even offered us a beer to have a chat - very friendly guy!

The residence can be found at the bottom of the hill which may be burden for those with mobility issues. This is of course nothing that the residence can do about; Dubrovnik is a hilly place - know this before coming here. In our case we had a scooter rental and used this to travel up the hill and across the peninsula.

Wonderful place to stay!

Very clean and exactly like the photos. The host Marko is super nice and very accommodating. All facilities are within walking distance and it’s a short bus ride to the old town. Highly recommended!

Perfect location and the standard meeting my expectations. The owner very nice, helpful and flexible

I have been happy with this clear room with a private bathroom and a small yet handy kitchen corner. The separate entrance let me keep my privacy and an extra terrace might be very nice in a warm season. The owner appeared to be an exceptionally nice and helpful guy.

I cannot complain to anything. The only suggestion from my side is that a small microwave would be welcome, but this is not the criticism rather a hint what to improve in the apartment which is very good.

Best location to stay in Dubrovnik

I felt very comfortable at Cosmai and decided to extend my stay to 6wks over the Winter season. The studio was well equipped, comfortable and very peaceful. Marko is an excellent host, very warm personality and was always available to respond to any query I had. I've been all over Dubrovnik City and think I had the best location to stay at, Cosmai is right on the beautiful Setnica walking loop, the bus stop is nearby and main bus station not too far. Marko provides two free bicycles for guests to use. The best sunsets and beaches are in this area, lots of restaurants and shops within minutes walk, green markets for lots of healthy vegetables. For me it was perfect. Oh, and the neighbours cat is adorable! She came to visit me often and I loved spending time with her. I hope to return! Thank you Marko, I had a lovely stay!

Great apartment in very quiet neighborhood with nice view and great host.

Very stylish room with a nice view over the harbour. Very quiet at night with eating options within walking distance from the apartment. The old town is a bit further away but can easily be reached by bus. All the information we needed was provided by the very friendly host. We had a really good stay and can absolutely recommend this place.

Unfortunately there was a bit of an unpleasant smell from one of the drains in our bathroom. It went away after leaving the water running for a minute though...

Exceptional

Marko, the owner, is super lovely, friendly and helpful. He gave a great rundown of the area and recommendations when we checked in. The facilities are great - there is a shared kitchenette with lots of supplies, stoves and a coffee machine. Location was also a little outside of old town which was nice and there are lovely beaches around.

A great choice for Dubrovnik

This is an excellent choice for Dubrovnik - beautiful room, really good location and view, very easy access to the city and all attractions, located at a beautiful marina and very close to a series of beaches in the area. Marko is a great host, kind and always ready and willing to help. All comes at a very good price (cannot be compared to the Dubrovnik old city prices). Highly recommended.

Idyllic 3 day stay

The room was a bit small but we loved the place! For me the bed and pillow were super comfortable, I slept so well, but my partner found the mattress a bit soft (I disagree 🤣). The room was well equipped - had a fridge and a safe to keep your important stuff locked away. The AC in the room worked well. There is a small but fully equipped kitchen with automatic espresso machine just outside the room and even a possibility to do your laundry (with a dryer). Marco is the perfect host! He'll tell you everything you need to know about Dubrovnik and the surroundings and give you a small map of the town. The place is very well located, just in the area of the best beaches and 15 minutes from the old towb by bus (also Uber would be like 7 euros each way there). There is also a supermarket just a few minutes away.

We didn't really understand whether the housekeeper is supposed to clean the room every day or not as she cleaned it the first day, but did not clean it the second day. However it did not bother us too mucj as our stay was just 3 nights.

Very nice studio in Lapad

Marko the host was very kind and very fast to reply to any of my messages, he explained to us where to go and all the points of interest. The studio itself is very nice and it has all of the basic amenities that anyone would need for their holiday. Highly recommended

Exceptional

Excellent, Location is top with very nice view to cruise terminal and mountains. It’s located in a posh area with a lot of hotels and apartments. Nearby enough beaches. Free parking is available. Historic center is a couple of kilometers, but there a regular & comfortable bus line or Uber. All amenities for breakfast present. Also washing machine available. Wonderfull host, always willing to help and giving a lot of value for money advice about what to visit or not.

Kitchen is shared, was not an issue for us. For breakfast you could quickly make your coffee, but maybe not ideal for people intending to cook. However there are enough restaurants in walking distance. One we certainly recommend is “Pizzeria Mamma Mia”

The host Marko was super friendly and gave a lot of good tips about Dubrovnik. Good location, close to the beaches. Beautiful view from the balcony!

Superb

Marko was really nice host. He welcomed me so friendly and explained about anything to do and see in Dubrovnik. We got a lot of good recommendations (things to do, visit, eat, etc) . The location of the apartment is strategic. Close to many good restaurants, bus stop, beaches etc.

Great neighborhood and easy access even with public transport (a little walk needed) but that's fine. The host was very responsive and helpful. Overall a great experience.

We felt the bathroom is a little too small but rest everything was clean and tidy and nice value for money.

Best residence in Dubrovnik

Mr Marko is a very polite person, easy communication. The room is clean and comfy, specially the bed and pillows. there is a full kitchen to use, included fresh coffee, and wash/dry machine for clothes. it’s located very close to bus stop to old town, markets, restaurants and beaches. I really recommend his residence! thank you mr Marko for a enjoyable stay!

very nice residence, in the best location! just 10 min walking from some very nice beaches, we are very happy to have stayed here instead of the old town. Marco was super friendly and helpful with all his valuable tips and hospitality
