There are very few staff who were able to fix the property. There is a lot of cleaning problem which is not value for money.
This all jungle experience and place is good.
Not for kids below then 12 year
The place where is actual disconnected with the current busy life
8.0
- Clean rooms and alert housekeeping
- Food is excellent
- Jacuzzi experience in the room
- The Spa experience and activities to keep you involved during the stay.
- The food is a bit overpriced
- Restaurant service is slow
- The rooms do not have a full length mirror
- During the guest welcome at the property, there is a long monologue about the property which may not be appreciated at the time of check in specially when a guest has travelled long distance and wants to get to the room. It would be good to share this information while walking the guest to the room or at a later time when the guests are more relaxed and receptive to the information shared.
- The safari coordination between hotel staff and the actual Jim Corbett park officials is poor in terms of timings, wait time, etc. The actual park safari is outsourced and the ownership is not taken by the hotel which is not appreciated despite the fact that you are paying a premium when going through the hotel. Our safari drive was quite rash and almost had us scared for our lives.

Excellent location and amazing staff
9.0
The location overlooking the jungle supported by staff who were always available and finding ways to support your needs.
The room design is also excellent with the skylight being a pleasant surprise.
Evening high tea with local snacks is a good thought
The description of the room on Booking was a little incomplete. It gave the impression that all 18 rooms have a private pool but then discovered that the Bush Cottages do not have a pool- though they do have a nice jacuzzi.

The staff behaviour, the food and hospitality

Probably the best property in Corbett and a very friendly staff! You can relax in luxury in the middle of a jungle.
8.0
Property is away from light pollution, so you can view the night sky very clearly. the food was tasty and the entire staff was very nice. I want to thank them for the plant cutting they gave me. Manoj, the naturalist, was very warm.
The food prices are a rip-off. They charge 325 for masala papad but give you only 2 papad. A teeny-tiny brownie is priced for around 650 and a scoop of ice cream is for 525. This is absolutely a rip off. After delivering food to the room, they would call in 15 minutes to ask how the food was. They don’t give you time to eat.
I feel that they could repair the approach road a little bit. right now it’s too bumpy. some feel that it adds to the charm of the property, but they could make it a little less bumpy in some places.
6.0
Spacious and at good location.
Property is at good location but it’s very overpriced 24k for one night luxury room and not even premimum though in summer not worth to choose premium as its too hot and humid in July.
I would suggest if vintage or countryside theme won’t fascinate you better to choose other luxuries to be like labeau just 500 m before that.

Awesome
9.0
The room decor, bathroom and the plunge pool.
The buffet spread was a little disappointing especially if you are a non vegetarian. Also if you are a premium property and charging a handsome rate then you accomodate guest's request for something as simple as a cold coffee in the breakfast buffet with out charging extra. It usually is a part of breakfast buffet in all star properties.
