There is a well-equipped kitchen with top of the range appliances, laundry room with washer/dryer, living room and dining room. Outside, there is off road parking for three cars and a generous size garden to the front of the property with large decking and integrated charcoal BBQ.
Landcroft Cottage could not be better placed to explore the Peak District and is only 8 miles from Alton Towers. Manifold Valley and Tissington Trail are also easily accessible and offer great walking and cycling opportunities.

Very cozy, especially when the log burning stove is lit!

Lovely cottage in beautiful countryside.
Beds were very comfy, the cottage was well
equipped and well thought out, a real home from
Home. We’ll definitely return!
15-20mins drive from Alton Towers and lovely village
shop & a fabulous pub meal at the Manifold Inn
just a few mins drive away (wouldn't recommend the nearest Pub, The Greyhound Inn, we had the most awful food!)

Everything was great. Just a problem with the heat water but wasn't the fault of kate, the owner.

Lovely cottage with plenty of space, well equipped kitchen, very clean and confortable altogether. It's a great location since you can walk directly from the cottage to places like Thor's cave. I highly recommend going to Hartington (5min drive) to do the walk in the dales which was fantastic with beautiful hills, rivers and woodlands. The local pub (the Grey Hound) just up the street is also very nice and serves good food and local beer!

We had an enjoyable stay over a long weekend. The house was warm and comfortable and there's a friendly pub nearby serving their own beer and good food, and of course the countryside there is beautiful. We had a small hitch opening the key box when checking in but otherwise just fine.

A delightful home-from-home, providing the perfect starting point for enjoying the glorious Staffordshire/Derbyshire countryside

Cottage was lovely, very clean and had all the facilities you could ask for. Great location for exploring the area. It is by a road junction but not much traffic and certainly didn’t effect our experience, enjoyment or relaxation. Visited local pub a couple of times, with good food, good beer and friendly staff.
Communication with owner was seamless.
Would definitely recommend.

A great week of walking for 4 adults and an 8 year old. Excellent communication with the owner. The cottage had everything we needed. The local pub is a short walk away and is also great.

Pleasant accommodation in nice village.
One problem is the single bedroom has the gas central heating boiler fitted in a wardrobe beside the bed. The noise from this makes it impossible to sleep for both children and adults.

The cottage has everything we needed for a long weekend of walking. There is lots of room to cook and chat in the kitchen, and lovely lounge to relax in.
We walked straight from the cottage on one day (to Thor's cave area) and on another had a short drive to Milldale to walk around Dove Dale and beyond.
The local pub is also extremely good, very friendly staff and superb food. Couldn't ask for any more from a weekend away!

We stayed at landcroft cottage for 5 days with our 3 kids (8,10 and 12) and had a great time. The cottage itself was excellent, very clean, very cosy with log burners and the cottage was very well equipped with modern kitchen, washing machine etc.
It is really well placed for days out and lots of great walking on the doorstep. The local pub (the greyhound) is 2 minutes walk away and served really good food, recommend booking for the bar area. Kate was super responsive with immediate answers to any questions.
We would highly recommend the cottage and would definitely book again.

We had a weekend stay at this property and it was great.
The cottage had everything we needed for a family however it would also suit a group of all adults.
Everything was as described and the cottage was clean and tidy. Communication with the owner was brilliant and check in and out was easy.
Would definitely recommend.

The cottage was a wonderful cosy home from home for our weeklong break in The Peak District. It’s well equipped and has a freshly renovated feel.
Great walks literally straight out of the door and well placed to reach the popular locations in the Peaks.
Lovely to have a pub within a short walk and a garden with a nice eating area.

We had a truly relaxing holiday. The town is beautiful and perfectly situated for walks, to a local pub, and trips to beautiful villages (Hartington has an amazing farm shop and a cheese shop, Alstonefield and Hulme End were gorgeous, too). The cottage was spotless, very comfortable, had a well stocked kitchen, and a beautiful garden. Our 4-year-old loved watching the butterflies dance around the garden.

We consider ourselves very lucky to have found this property, and to have had the opportunity to make it our home for the time. A wonderful location to explore the Peaks, and of course Alton Towers is just down the road for our 13year old. A beautiful and spacious cottage, just a home away from home. Thank you..x

Relaxed atmosphere very decent pints at local pub, comfortable outdoor seating area and bbq - access to walks, cycle rides, accessible drive to tree top activities, cable ski , go karts.

Lovely cottage in the heart of the white peaks. All the amenities you would like, tastefully decorated and a lovely suntrap garden.
4.8
Clean and comfortable cottage with everything you could need for a holiday in this part of the Peak District.

This really is the perfect spot to get away from everything but also to entertain the children. The garden is lovely and the sun hits the perfect spots during the day and evening.
There is so much to do around this area and Warslow is tight in the middle without the tourists and crowds/ coaches.
It’s a short drive to Hartington, Buxton and Leek and you can beautiful walks on your door step.
The information folder that Kate and Emma have provided is excellent and tells you everything you need to know.
Thank you
The Granville George family 😊

We rented this property as a group of 2 couples for a relaxed walking holiday, the cottage was immaculately clean, with really comfortable furniture and bedding, we slept wonderfully, the log burner especially added to the cozy atmosphere. The cottage is well located for access to the Derbyshire country side as well as towns and served as the perfect base for us to explore the area. We made good use of the outdoor seating and bbq area as well as the well equipped kitchen. We would definitely come back in a heart beat, and I think it would be especially nice in winter.

Nice little cottage, worked well for 4 adults. Well equipped, with all you need and good parking, which can be a problem with some properties. Only down sides were, the dishwasher wasn't working and there was no wardrobe in the main bedroom, which made things a little awkward when we had to put some of our clothes in one of the other bedrooms.

Nicely refurbished cottage in a quiet village, an ideal base for walking or cycling. We really enjoyed our short getaway during Covid. Thanks! Steve

We had a lovely week at this cottage. It’s in a great location. Comfortable and refurbished to a high specification. Would recommend!

This last minute booking worked out to be an idyllic few days in the Derbyshire Dales with our older children (19 & 22). The cottage is great for all weathers - sun floods in on sunny mornings and we enjoyed late afternoon tea at the outside table, but also lit the woodburner on a couple of cooler September evenings which made it very cosy. The kitchen is really well equipped with plenty of fridge, freezer & cupboard space. We appreciated the large, light bathrooms, copious hot water and comfy beds.Dining room table used for family gamesThe walking in the area is of course great - 2/2.5 hours round trip to Wetton Mill.Greyhound Pub convenient for a basic pub meal, nothing special.Only 1 quibble- we were 4 adults but only 3 comfy seats in the sitting room.Overall a terrific place to stay. We are planning another visit.
