- House located in the quietness of a Nature Reserve. Access to the Reserve with motor vehicle prohibited except to renters, who are provided an authorization for access. In return, maximum respect for the norms of the Reserve and Environment is required.

18 jours de vacances dans cette jolie maison au bord de l'eau. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est très spacieuse, très bien entretenue, propre, l'endroit est vraiment privilégié. Merci à Nuria de nous avoir loué sa maison nous conseillons cette adresse et nous reviendrons!

My friends and I had a lovely stay in Nuria's home. We prepared dinner every evening on the patio, enjoying the views. Day trips were easy. We went sea kayaking along the Cliffs of Maro. I would recommend to anyone seeking privacy, a natural environment and traveling in groups or with family.

The best view ever

The best view ever

If I could I would give 10 stars for the location and the view! It was the best! And the family restaurant in the further corner of the beach offered delicious high quality food and great service. One thing the house provides an excessive quantity of sleeping spots. But as a family with kids my husband and I would prefer to have a better master bedroom. There are no beach towels and no blow dryer. Despite these minor things we enjoyed our stay 200%. Thank you Nuria for great communication and hosting!

Fantastische Lage, wunderbarer Außenbereich, Haus sehr sauber mit funktionaler Einrichtung

Wir haben mit 8 Erwachsenen 12 Tage in diesem Haus in fantastischer Lage verbracht. Die Fotos und die Beschreibung des Hauses entsprechen der Realität. Der Außenbereich mit großen Gummibäumen, Palmen, Rasenfläche und Terrassen wurde von uns zu jeder Tageszeit ausgiebig genutzt. Mit der Außenküche, Dusche, Liegen und Sitzplätzen lädt er zum Leben im Freien ein. Das sehr saubere Haus ist funktional eingerichtet. Die Küche ist neu und gut ausgestattet. Die zwei Badezimmer mit Dusche, Toilette und Waschbecken sind klein, aber wurden vor kurzem renoviert. Zwei Schlafzimmer befinden sich im Erdgeschoss, ein weiteres Zimmer ist über eine steile Wendeltreppe zu erreichen. Hier sollte man schon trittsicher sein! Die kleinen Schlafzimmer bieten Schlafplätze für 3 bis 4 Personen. Bei 4 Personen wird es dann eng. Die Betten sind einfach, aber bequem. Der Wohn- und Essbereich ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Besitzer waren zuvorkommend und nett. Menschen, die Ruhe im Urlaub suchen, die die Natur lieben, gerne schwimmen und tauchen, Sonnenuntergänge beobachten und nach Delfinen Ausschau halten, werden sich hier besonders wohl fühlen.

Disfrutamos de un magnifico fin de semana en el marco incomparable de la playa del Cañuelo. La casa es una maravilla, bien acondicionada y preparada. Nuria, la propietaria es una anfitriona atenta y preocupada que responde a todas las inquietudes que te pueden surgir. Repetiremos sin duda....

Alojamiento muy recomendable

Hemos estado un grupo de siete personas a finales del mes de febrero y hemos disfrutado mucho de la casa y del entorno. La casa está genial, tiene todas las comodidades (la cocina muy bien equipada, las camas cómodas, todo extremadamente limpio y cuidado); pero sin duda lo mejor es el jardín con numerosos rincones donde disfrutar de la tranquilidad y de las vistas. Nos hizo un tiempo estupendo (nada raro en la costa tropical) que nos permitió disfrutar al máximo de los exteriores, desayunos al sol de la mañana, uso de la barbacoa... La playa, de guijarros, no es muy cómoda para el baño pero a cambio la transparencia del agua es ideal para el buceo por lo que recomiendo llevar gafas y aletas. Hicimos una excursión por el paraje natural hasta la playa de Cantarriján, recomendable, merece la pena por disfrutar de las vistas. Es una casa para llevarse todo lo necesario para la estancia y no salir de ella. Un bálsamo para el estrés. Nuria, la propietaria, es un encanto y te facilita todo lo que necesites para tu estancia. Desde aquí quiero agradecerle el trato recibido. Sin duda repetiremos la experiencia.

Impecable

La casa la reservamos todos los años por estas fechas y nos juntamos amigos de diferentes puntos de España. Una vez que la conoces quedas cautivado. Aparte de la exclusividad del entorno ( es un paraje natural y no pueden entrar coches excepto los de la casa ), la propietaria la cuida con el cariño propio de alguien que viviese allí, no le falta detalle. Tiene rutas que comunica con otras calas para hacer a pie y La Herradura a pocos kilómetros para avituallamiento.

El paraíso existe: mis amigos, familiares y yo lo conocemos desde hace unos 14-15 años que fuimos por primera vez a la casa de Nuria en Maro. El entorno es un paraje natural protegido que como tal se conserva, ya que es un entorno casi exclusivo, ya que no permiten acceder al paraje en coche excepto a las personas que se hospedan en su casa. Y la casa no puede estar más cuidada y tener más detalles, no falta de nada de nada para hacer una estancia completa y agradable para una familia o grupo de amigos. En definitiva, he ido a muchiiiiiiiisimos sitios, ninguno como éste, el paraíso.

Splendid location, but old house without comfort

The house is located phantastically. The description and the photos are conform with reality. The outsidearea of the house is really nice with a small agrden and other equipment. As we came in December, we had to realise that the house is very cold. Even when the chimney is on, there are so many places in the house where the heat does not reach. The bathroom was the coldest room and was unfortunately for some reason always badly smelling. The sleepingrooms are not very comfortable, especially the beds, in which you transpirate a lot because of a plasticbedsheet. The lady who rents the house is very nice, but it did not help as we did not enjoy our holidays although we stayed in a beautyfull area because of the uncomfortable conditions of the house. All in all I would not recomment this ouse to people who need a minimum of comfort. Most of all we found that the rent is really overprized.

"This house was wunderful to stay. It has a fantastic view on the beach, the nature is really a paradise, the house is well equiped and was really clean at arrival. We enjoyed our time here. At arrival the friendly owner is also there to explain and show you the house etc. It was perfectly arranged and we would recommend this accommodation to anyone who loves nature, peace and quiet and a perfect, fantastic view on the (private) beach and a big terrace! Really really fantastic!"

"The house and the garden...

"The house and the garden...

"The house and the garden is nice and the surroundings makes it really unique. If you like to enjoy calmness, the vicinity of the sea and the continuous sound of the waves, than it is hard to find better place to stay for you! It is also perfect for families with children (like ours). One part of the beach is sandy (or rather tiny pebbles), the other part is pebbly. It is also good for snorkelling when the sea is calm. During the day there can be some bathers there, but at dusk you can be alone to take a walk on the beach enjoying the sea and the beautiful landscape. We had luck to sea dolphins, wild goats and chameleons there. However, we did not have any problems with anything including the electricity (that problem a renter mentioned before me, caused by bad weather conditions and other houses in the area were also affected, as far as I know). Other good points... That part of Andalucia is less built-up, not crowded, nearly untouched. It is a good starting point for any trip. There is a market in Herradura I recommend, and there are supermarkets in Almunecar. We spent wonderful days here."
