Local area
Sometimes you can watch Red Deer on Exmoor from the comfort of the apartment or, better still take a short walk and view them at closer quarters. In the autumn we often hear the stags rutting; all year round hardy Exmoor Ponies can be seen on the moor and majestic buzzards wheeling above you.
The self catering apartment is situated in a beautiful part of the Exmoor National Park and is in an ideal location from which to explore the extraordinary beauty and variety of the Exmoor landscape. Become acquainted with the stunning coastline between Minehead and Combe Martin, where Exmoor dives steeply into the sea; the brooding, wild, open moorland areas of Dunkery Hill, Winsford Hill and Brendon Common; the beautiful and ancient oak woodlands at Cloutsham; the historic clapper bridge at Tarr Steps, and the packhorse bridges at Allerford and Dunster and of course the chocolate box villages of Dunster, Winsford, Allerford, Selworthy, Bossington and Oare.
Arrival and departure
The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival. Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay. Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests.

This is a beautifully situated cottage on the outskirts of the village. Perfect for walking either directly from the cottage or in the locality where there is such a varied landscape. The owners were very friendly and the cottage very clean and comfortable. This was our second visit and we look forward to returning.

Very good apartment set in the rolling hills of Exmoor but only 5 miles from Minehead & its facilities. Equipped with everything you need including milk, teabags & biscuits to start you off! The only downside was the mattress was very hard & uncomfortable making sleep diffilcult.

Beautiful location, in the heart of very good walking country and not to far to the coast, Porlock and Minehead are great, plenty to do and see in all areas. We love fly fishing, so went to Exebridge near Dulverton, about 30 - 40 mins.Had lovely time and Property very comfortable, plenty of room, and lovely views, can’t praise it enough. We have stayed in many places some of which my wife has had to clean before settling in, she does have good standards though.Owners are lovely, they live nearby and are always helpful. We will return, hopefully for a little longer.Glad we chose this one. Many thanks.

Beautifully quiet location with outstanding views and great patio area. The utility room/boot room was very useful to have access to. Very comfortable accommodation and we appreciated the warmth of the property for an October stay. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. There are plenty of walks from the property and many more with a relatively short drive away. A great base for Exmoor exploring.

The location, for us, was perfect. We were able to walk from the property without having to use the car.
We are serious walkers and for those proposing to venture out on the hills we would recommend good boots and waterproofs from the front door.

The property is well located for visiting this area of England. Karen and Keith make you very welcome and although we had no need to contact them during our stay they were nearby if there had been an issue. A superb property.

The whole holiday experience was perfect for us as walkers with the property situated in an outstanding area and footpaths leading in all directions. It's so peaceful but also not far from the coastal attractions. The accommodation was exceptionally well equipped and comfortable with a private garden area (plus orchard) complete with a wonderful view of Dunkery Hill. The owners were extremely helpful and made us very welcome. We'll be back next year!

We found the property address was a bit misleading as we assumed the property would be called Dunkerly View which it wasn’t but a phone call to Keith put us on the right track. The cottage provided everything we needed (and more) and was spotlessly clean.

Lovely place, very quite, lots of wildlife, went to Minehead, Lynmouth, wachet, Exeter, lots to see. From the pictures the cottage on it own, we’re a bit disappointed that we had neighbours. Keith and and Karen were very helpful, telling us about places to visit.
5.0
Lovely place to stay and very good location if you like countryside as we do. Village has a shop not far from property and people are lovely to. We had a super stay, weather was good so that helped. We used the garden a bit in our own area and watched the wildlife, at night the stars were terrific to. Good walking from property in all directions. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Can’t fault it in any way.If you love walking and don’t mind a few stairs then you’ll be happy.
