The description is misleading, no activity and over priced. Don’t fall for the pics.
Wait staff friendly. Good drinks. Buffet food was mah. The restaurant served meals at fuego’s was good with nice plating presentation.
All inclusive is a scam: they charge an extra fee daily for all inclusive on top of the total price paid on booking. All inclusive does not include room service for the exact same food as the restaurants. The rooms had no tv. No activities or entertainment especially for children. Mosquitoes are terrible - we got bitten all night because they are in the rooms too. The WiFi is terrible only stays connected for about 10-15 minutes then it disappears with no connection. Rooms have no usb ports so bring your box if you need to charge anything!!! The 3 bed suite is a scam. This room doesn’t exist. We did not get a double suit as described with 3 beds. It was a single room with a twin bed and a king bed they rolled in a rollaway bed for my son after I complained about the misleading description. Front desk staff were rude and talked to you like you were a child. 3 people in the room and they only give you 1 room key. When asked for additional was told they are “out” and check back in the morning. In addition to the daily food fee you are also charged $250+ for “ incidentals because all inclusive does not mean all inclusive. We were removed from the system prior to check out therefore the so called all inclusive breakfast on the last morning was not included. The lights in the room kept flickering on and off by itself. Room mini bar was not replenished daily. Only 2 places to eat, third restaurant is closed and half the resort buildings look abandoned. The only time I’ve ever been on a 5 day vacation and was ready to leave by day 2.

Expensive hotel, terrible service
The hotel location by the beach and the facilities were beautiful. We had booked this expensive hotel as a special treat for our first day of holiday. However our experience was ruined by key basics not working and the attitude of the front desk. AVOID.
When we arrived at our room the bins hadn't been emptied. After unpacking we realised that the aircon wasn't working (couldn't adjust it) and the toilet wasn't flushing properly, so we called front desk. Engineers were sent, the aircon seemed to work but an extra engineer had to be called and they were still fixing the toilet as we went out for dinner. When we returned to our room the aircon was not working again, and the toilet wasn't flushing. We again called front desk who were slow to respond and were then waiting for engineers at 9pm very tired (long journey from UK and jet lag). The aircon couldn't be fixed and neither was the toilet. Eventually at 10.30pm (by which time I and my daughter were in bed asleep), they suggested that we change room, which was obviously not practical by then. The following day we complained as we paid £350 for a night in a room with no aircon or working toilet, and a constant stream of engineers during our stay. Front desk advised that as they had offered an alternative as far as they were concerned there was no issue, and they wouldn't give us any form of compensation, not even a free drink. To add insult to injury, they also claimed they had no record of the first set of engineer visits, even though several people had attended, and did not acknowledge the terrible experience we'd had. They didn't care about the guest experience, they just want to protect their income. We weren't the only people experiencing this poor service as i overheard other families complaining too. 10 days after we had left, the hotel still had a hold on £150 on my bank account for no reason. After several messages to the hotel this was eventually removed but there was no apology for the inconvenience. The staff responding to this comment and booking messages are sweet, but don't be fooled as the front desk staff on site in Mexico who you rely on for help during and after your stay are truly awful.

Our stay was relaxing as well as fun, however we will choose a different resort next time we are in PDC.
The beach was beautiful and the staff were both friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well stocked.
The food left a lot to be desired. Our casita was on the beach, which was lovely, however, because it is a public beach the noise level at night was often loud into the wee hours of the morning.

Fire Bada, retrain your reception staff.
The grounds are lovely, the staff in the restaurants are friendly.
Rooms need updating and a serious clean, fresh paint and new fixtures, especially the bathrooms, etcetera. Our check in took us 2.5 hours after a plane to Cancun and an hour to the resort. We booked 3 rooms for a week totaling $14,000USD. It took us two hours to check in: First, we asked to be near to each other months in advance, but we weren't, and were told "we can't accommodate those requests", which was a concern, as we were two families with teens in one of the rooms. They had months to email us but didn't bother to tell us that until the day we checked in. They said that they were fully booked but we noted that there were plenty of empty rooms throughout our stay. The person who checked us in was named Bada. Also, they really don't guarantee king beds or beds with two doubles, so be prepared to share a bed if you book two doubles. Also, for 8 people, 4 people were not on the meal plan (our mistake), but we were told at the time of check in that it would cost us $5500 to add an extra four people for the week. We talked in circle for two hours. So not sure if this was a scam... you decide. Next day, by another person, we were told the true cost which was significantly less. When we went to speak to the same person that checked us in later that day, Bada, even though we had kept our cool during check in, for the sake of our kids and the very long line of people behind us, and engaged in his circle talk, when I approached him the next day and said he had given me the incorrect information about meals, he said that it was because I had been upset the previous day and did some kind of imitation of me... if was the most disgusting and insulting thing a stranger has done to me, even more so since we were so proud of ourselves for maintaining our cool. In the end, a female at reception assisted us and we purchased the meal plan at the correct price.

Bonita vista, bunas albercas y seguridad.

Lidt skuffet - men smukt sted
NOTE vedr. Lidt dyrere end vejen, men langt nemmere. 😊
