Classico Campanile

È un classico Campanile, la camera era pulita, il personale gentile.

La posizione della struttura non è un granchè. In piazzale si fermano dei camion, avevo un po’ di timore passeggiando con il cane nelle ore buie.

Horrible !

Nous sommes arrivés samedi soir par une journée très froide, la clim fonctionnait à fond, il faisait un froid sibérien dans la chambre. Le lendemain matin, idem, nous étions frigorifiés. Nous sommes vite partis sans prendre de petit déjeuner. Nous étions en RDC, mais par cette météo la clim aurait dû être coupée. Poste de télévision rempli de poussière. Toilettes : cuvette noire à l'intérieur... ca se nettoie ! Et pour en finir : le bouquet, le drap de dessous n'avait pas été changé, plein de taches. C'est la première fois que nous nous retrouvons dans un campanile dans un tel état !

Emplacement ok

Odeur de poussière, lit d'appoint enfant pas terrible, couvertures pas assez chaudes et pas de chauffage dans la salle de bain, matelas très inconfortable et chambre très petite. Nous avons dû visiter 3 chambres avant d'en avoir une à peu près propre... Mauvais rapport qualité prix.

Ok for a quick sleep

Bed was reasonably comfortable. Good location for the motorway

Room reeked of cigarette smoke. One pillow had a bloodstain. The whole place isn't like a hotel but a run down estate. Actually have shutters on the windows and area felt a bit dodgy.

Convenient pit stop to break up a long journey. Pleasant enough but no frills.

Easy to find off the back of a long drive. Perfect location for picking up the journey the following day.

The room was quite small and our daughter’s bed was positioned halfway underneath a counter top so she could have easily bumped her head / fallen out of bed in the night. The restaurant was a welcome sight but the kid’s menu was grim.

Basic hotel near autoroute, ok for overnight stop

Good location - just off main autoroute to Paris - next to a retail park with a few restaurants, bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water

Needed a place to stay, the hotel was excellent

Every thing wes easy and the staff spoke better english than I did French.

Not that easy to find the hotel or reception, Also the outside of the building could do with some paint. Generally excellent

we ended up sleeping in our car

We booked this hotel of booking.com at 11pm, paid for the room and when we showed up, they tod us there was no sign of the booking and made us leave. there were no other rooms in the area and we slept in the parking lot. The staff was condescending, saying it is not their problem and we should not have used booking.com - so why are they listed?! We were charged twice for the room on our credit card and neither booking.com nor the hotel has responded to our reimbursement demands.

Comfortable stay with plentiful breakfast

Room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Receptionist was very welcoming and friendly on arrival. We also enjoyed the breakfast which was buffet with lots of choice.

Budget hotel to stay if desperate for break on long journey.

Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good- variety options.

Location! Hotel is situated just next to another hotel/hostel that looked like it was work accommodation for time being. There were many migrants in small groups around the other hotel and on the balconies when we arrived. Parking didn’t look very secure. First impression was poor in general.

Breakfast, staff, dining room.

Used to house migrants. The night we were there 100 Bulgarian grape pickers arrived, so the restaurant was closed except for them. On the chair in the desk part of the room were a pair of black knickers! But everywhere else was clean.

Perfect for what we wanted, a comfortable stop over on our return leg of the holiday

Rooms were comfortable and clean, very good value for money for a one night stopover. Restaurant was exceptionally good, the food was great. We were too tired to go elsewhere for food, but to be honest don't think we'd have found anything better,

A little difficult to find the place - as usual with these types of motel, and some strange people hanging about in the vicinity.......

Small rooms,when we got the room there was wet moquette in front of the bathroom and the staff seemed like they didnt care about this issue. And more,we paid and we waited forever to have the invoice,after 4 calls and going back again to the hotel,where a really rude receptionist took again our details but didnt send the invoice again! It then took 3 more days to get the invoice and it was not correct!never again in campanile hotel!

Very good

Clean room with reasonable space, wide and comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. The restaurant served us a nice dinner and plentiful breakfast for a reasonable price. Personnel were handsome too, location is right at the exit of the motorway,making it an excellent place to rest by on your way through France.

Overall a good experience we just needed a better mattress

Room size was good and the bathroom facilities were clean and functional. The breakfast was also good with plenty of variety and the location just a 7 minute drive from the center of Auxerre and 1 minute form the A6 motorway peage station

The bed mattress was uncomfortable and to firm. We stayed at a Best Western & Kyriad this same trip and they appear to be using more comfortable mattresses or mattress toppers that make the sleeping/comfort experience much better. The single most important factor when you stay in a travel based hotel/motel is a comfortable bed so you get a good nights rest. The other hotel factors can improve the overall experience, but the bed is crucial to us when your travelling
