Everything was amazing.

Cosy , warm cottage. A welcome retreat from the inclement weather.

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well kept.
Seating outside at the front and back of the cottage, which was a nice touch. Parking was available in the pub car park across the road. The owner had created a folder with lots of information about the area, walks and places of interest.
Would really recommend staying here if visiting the area.

Everything supplied with attention to detail. Easy to follow instructions on everything. An ambiance that you're not living in an easy-to-clean holiday let but a user-friendly home from home. Only one thing could have made our perfect stay even better... cotton sheets - to complement the lovely large fluffy towels.

Lovely place!
My parents absolutely loved their stay at the cottage. It was very clean and very cosy. I was particularly impressed by how quickly Jenny responded to my emails. I highly recommend Rosebud Cottage.

Spotlessly clean and everything you need
We spent a wonderful week at this very cute and cosy cottage. Attention to detail shows throughout the cottage - it is comfortable, beautifully decorated, very clean throughout, well-equipped and well-designed. It feels like a lot of thought has been put in to ensure guests have a lovely stay.
Steyning is a beautiful small town and is well-served with pubs, bakeries, cafes, tea rooms and a supermarket - these are all within a short walk of the cottage. There are lots of gorgeous historic buildings and the ancient Norman church in Church St dates back to the 11th century.
The Seven Sisters are an easy drive away, and Parham House, Nyman's gardens and Sheffield Park gardens are all an easy drive along very pretty country roads and shouldn't be missed by garden lovers.
Thanks, Jenny, for a lovely week. We are already planning next year's stay!

Lovely cottage and village
Overall a good if expensive stay. The provisions were helpful and a nice touch. The kitchen was well equipped and sitting room lovely. The downside was a lack of a toilet upstairs and it was a pain to go down the very narrow stairs in the middle of the night to spend a penny.
The garden was lovely and all instructions helpful.

Fantastic home from home cottage
This lived up to expectations and beyond. It was a great location and had everything you could possibly need, and more. It was lovely and cosy too. We were also left fresh flowers, a delicious cake, tea, coffee and milk, just to mention a few, which made our arrival all the more enjoyable. All the communications with both the owner and the housekeeper were easy to follow and concise. Free parking. Good wifi (by the way could not find this mentioned in the advert), but our O2 mobiles did not work, as no coverage, so had to go for a walk to make calls, which was not a problem. Will be back.

Cosy Cottage in Charming Steyning.
The cottage was very well furnished and comfortable. There was an impressive range of local guides and information. Sadly we chose a time of very bad weather and could not fully explore the walks etc. Steyning has some good pubs and places to eat and is a great base for the South Downs.
Jenny, the owner is very helpful.

Very quaint cozy clean cottage with fabulous garden
Great location, the village of Steyning is picturesque and quiet yet lively with people. Took long walks on the South Downs nearby and enjoyed the choice of shops in the village. Fabulous English roast beef dinner at the Sussex produce company on Sundays.

All boxes ticked!
My sister and I decided to stop the world and get off for 3 days! We could not have chosen a better location to wind down and we were so lucky to have unusually hot weather. We did the historic walk of the town - I've never seen so many interesting, listed buildings, punctuated with cafes, shops and the colourful Sussex Produce Company. We also took a local walk through meadows, listening to the birds and watching the butterflies while we talked. We parked on a residential road in Shoreham and took the train to Brighton - just £4 return - and spent a very enjoyable day there, returning to Steyning to enjoy a gin and tonic in the garden of The Star Inn opposite the cottage. We visited Pulborough Brooks on the way to Steyning and Petworth House on the way home.
The cottage is charming, comfortable and we spent a lot of time in the pretty garden which gets the sun all day. It was spotlessly clean cottage and very well equipped.

Lovely clean modernised property in a lovely village
We loved our stay in Rosebud Cottage, it has character but has been modernised thoughtfully. It was a lovely place to come back to of an evening after being out on the South Downs which are on the doorstep. Steyning is a charming village with shops, pubs and tea rooms and it is all on your doorstep.
Overall I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Perfect place to stay
Rosebud Cottage is perfect, it is light, airy and warm and has everything you could possibly need in a home from home. The bed was particularly comfortable and we slept very well and every was spotlessly clean.
Little touches like milk and a welcome cake made our stay memorable and we will definitely stay there again.
Rosebud Cottage is the perfect place to stay when visiting this part of the UK, there is so much to do here and many tea shops and good pubs. In particular The Star serves (2 minutes walk) serves fantastic food and the landlady is very friendly allowing us to park in the pub car park..
Overall a great stay in a beautiful cottage in a great market town.

Well placed lovely character comfy cottage
The cottage is well placed within a picturesque village. Very comfortable and decorated to a high standard throughout - home from home.
New bathroom and lovely garden to sit in. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean. Only 20 minutes from the beach and within easy reach of London via the train. Steyning has lovely local shops that provide everything you need. There was a tea tray and cake waiting for us on arrival which was much appreciated. Couldn't get parked outside the house but were able to park in the local pub car park all week only 2 minutes away. Would definately recommend a stay here.

perfect holiday home
Beautiful, clean, little cottage. A home from home, everything that you need to live comfortably for a week or more.
Ideal for a base for seeing the sights around West Sussex. Lots of good information left for us to peruse at our leisure on what to do in the area. Steyning itself is one of the loveliest villages in England and well worth the visit.
The cottage is metres away from a bakery, and a local pub where you can park, which is about 30 metres away. Then all the shops including a well stocked Co-op supermarket, restaurants and tea rooms our within an easy walking distance.
I would not hesitate in recommending this cottage to anyone. However, the bathroom is downstairs and is not so good for elderly people who have to get up in the night to use the facilities, but that is the only downside. Other than that we loved it. Thanks

Cosy and convenient
We stayed here for two weeks for the birth of our grandson. The cottage is just as described and more, very comfortable, very clean, nice and warm and contains everything you need even for a long stay. Parking can be difficult but we always managed to find a parking space not too far away. Steyning is a lovely town, loved the book shop and cafes. Want to return for another visit soon. Thank you for the cake too Jenny and for letting us extend our stay.
