Super apartment, right in the centre of things, but in a quiet peaceful part of town, everything within a few minutes walking distance, although be prepared for the hill and many steps.

Lovely apartment and had everything we needed, was a good location to the beach and the shops. Parking aswell which was good. The view was amazing.
Was a few steps when taking your stuff up but you got used to them and we spend most of the time out and about during the day. There is a hill to get up to the apartment but again you got used to it, the only struggle was with full pushchair. We had a 3 year old and he was ok with the steps.
I would recommend this apartment to people that are ok with steps and walking. Was a great stay and would stay again.

Could be more generously equipped, eg basic supplies like tea/coffee, limited range kitchen equipment, hair dryer needed, better quality loo paper, and fresher smelling towels

These faults in my review are a shame as the flat was nice not suitable for elderly people or people with walking difficulties owner should state this as it has very steep hill from town then when you reach the flats there is a hard climb up the stairs to flat 5 at the top Swanage was great as usual great blues festival Tim and Michelle Lloyd

The apartment is in a perfect location of beaches and shops as long as you don't mind a few hills and stairs. I travelled with my husband and 2 children (4 and 7) and we all managed well. The apartment itself is decorated to a high standard and is very clean. Nicki was brilliant with communication and all information was in a handy folder. The view from the living room was wonderful and a great place for that first cup of tea of the day. I hope to stay again soon.

Penthouse and it really was high with 70 stairs after a climb to get to them but once in the apartment the view was spectacular

Beautiful Apartment with lovely views.
The property stands half way up a hill overlooking the town and the harbour, and has distant views of the cliffs and downlands. It is a bit of a climb if walking up from town, but the views for us, made the climb worthwhile. The layout and comfort of the flat is first class, and having two bathrooms with showers and toilets, a real bonus and time saver in the morning. We cooked and ate all our meals indoors, and found the kitchen well laid out and full of all necessary appliances. The flat is about 7 minute walk to the bus terminus and steam railway. We used the buses everyday to take us to the start of our daily walks, often buying return tickets.The owner of the property was very understanding and helpful, and we fully recommend staying here for comfort, great views and easy access to shops and buses.

Beautiful views and great location
We had a lovely week staying at this property. The location is fantastic if you don’t mind a hill and lots of stairs! The town centre and beaches are just down the road and you can walk to Durlston County park. The property had everything you needed and offered great views over Swanage.

Lovely apartment. Has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen if you want to eat in and take in the beautiful view. Great location, just a short walk to the beach. Showers nice and warm and powerful.

Perfect 2 night stay
Ideal for 4 people, the location of this property was perfect for long coastline walks and the town centre. Apartment was spotless and had everything a self catering property should have. Lovely views across the bay from the apartment. Free parking space too. Communication with the owner was also spot on and check in and out was easy. Only note to others, it is a steep walk from town to the apartment, but only 50 metres. And being a penthouse of course there are lots of steps to climb once inside. But if you are aware of this, then enjoy your stay! We will be back for sure. Thank you Nicki!

5 nights in sunny Swanage
The apartment is in a lovely old Victorian house with fantastic views of the bay. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Parking at the bottom of a series of stone steps - no problem if you're fit!

This is a superb penthouse apartment in an older style house that has been very tastefully converted into five apartments in all. It is a little quirky in layout but that is part of its charm and the view from the lounge is truly magnificent. The apartment benefits from a relatively recent refurbishment and every thing was spotlessly clean and tidy. another nice touch was the welcome pack which gives you everything you need when you arrive. Parking is in a separate undercroft.It is a bit of a climb from the High street up to the property and quite a climb up two fairly long flights of stairs to the apartment but even so it is well worth it.Highly Recommended.

Disappointing
The very steep hill leading up to the property was not mentioned. Neither were the 70 odd steps both from the car park and inside the property. Had this information been put on the website we would not have booked it.

Summer 2020
We received a quick response to our initial enquiry. The information provided in advance of the stay was thorough and clear, particularly in light of the ongoing pandemic. Upon arrival we were delighted with both the location of the apartment as well as the cleanliness and overall layout. The car parking space is ideally located to unload etc upon arrival. The views across Swanage bay are stunning. Everything we needed to settle into our holiday were provided. Overall a really great week! Would highly recommend.

Lovely apartment, stunning views
Knowing Swanage well, I had no qualms about the location of this property. It's in the heart of the town so close to seafront, beach and cliff-top walks. The uphill walk is a short one and well worth it. Sitting at the top of the house, this apartment has the best view right across Swanage bay towards Old Harry Rocks and back inland over the beautiful downs. The apartment itself is lovely too being very light and airy, well-furnished to a high standard and having a huge, comfortable bed to the master. Definitely a home from home where I felt very comfortable to work remotely for 2 weeks (change of scene immediately post-lockdown) before a final week of downtime. Somewhere I definitely hope to visit again in future.

Sunny Swanage
Lovely apartment with great facilities and seaviews out over Swanage. Very central for the town and the on-site parking is a good bonus. Only negative is the amount of steps up to the property (being the penthouse) plus the hill up from the High Street. Ok if you are fit and nimble but not suitable for less mobile or elderly visitors. Unfortunately I had not researched this aspect before booking so it was a problem for my elderly Mum.

Wonderful property, great views, quirky layout and well worth staying at.
The property is wonderful, with brilliant views over Swanage bay from both the main bedroom and from the living room. There’s Lovely old sash windows in the bedrooms and living room, and a quirky layout with the kitchen. The apartment is well equipped with modern TVs, WiFi and the kitchen basics. The second bedroom is a little tight with views out the back of the property, but would be fine for kids. However we didn’t use this during our stay (only two of us). As a few other reviews have mentioned, the stairs are a killer when arriving and leaving if you have a lot of bags, there’s four flights up from the car park, however they’re really not that bad durning the stay and totally worth it for the views. Just don’t forget and leave your phone in the car! Parking is a little tight manoeuvring into the space with a larger car but perfectly doable, also you might struggle with a tall car with a roof box on as we did as it is a fairly low roofed car port. The check in and out process is nice and laid back despite never meeting the landlords. I would definitely recommend to friends and family etc.

Penthouse with a view.
A very well kitted out apartment once you got to it.
Both my husband and I are in our 80s and luckily are pretty fit, From the car park to the front door of the apartment, one has to climb no fewer than 75 steps which could have been a big problem. Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the property to anyone who's good at stairs!!
