Tina is a wonderful host. Her response time to questions was quick. Offered transportation options from airport and to the port. Also knew local guides for hire. All were seamless and reasonable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Athens. The apartment is very well maintained & conveniently located. Tina graciously accommodated our early arrival and late check out. As well she arranged for drivers to pick us up from the airport and take us to the ship for our cruise.

A/C was not working properly and the apartment was 34.2C/93.6F inside. There are three A/C units inside the apartment, but neither of them was working properly to cool a room. We closed bedroom doors and closed the bathroom doors to help cool the rooms , but it made for a difficult night of sleep. Left the apartment early, due to the A/C issue. Tina, the owner, did come by and said the A/C units were working properly, as she had them serviced in the spring. She said the rooms would eventually cool, but 24-hrs later and there was not much temperature difference. As mentioned by others, there is street noise, which is louder than other cities and hotels in major cities in the USA I have stayed at. Tina did provide a full credit for the 2nd night and discounted the first night. If you don’t mind hearing street noise with the doors and windows closed and it’s not summer time, this is a great place to stay.

Our stay at Tinas property was fantastic. The property is exactly as described and so close to everything. The beds were comfortable, the apartment very safe and clean and it could not be more perfect for two couples travelling together. What stood out for us was Tina as a host. She helped both couples artiving separately book transportation from the airport and then together to the cruise ship terminal with fantastic drivers. Then she also set us up with the most amazing guide to see the acropolis. Her communication and guidance go far beyond any hosts ive ever stayed with for a VRBO and she helped make our stay effortless. I would definitely stay here again on anther trip to Athens. Tina.... Thank you ..thank you ..thank you !!

After being tired from island hopping and catching ferries, we were very appreciative to find this accommodation so welcoming, spacious and comfortable. The proximity and view of Hadrian’s Arch unbelievable - right across the road and was beautiful to wake up to. The Acropolis is amazing to see from the other side of the apartment. Both sites are even more mesmerising lit up at night. We were in walking distance to an endless choice of restaurants and cafes. We did lots of shopping - so much cheaper in Athens than the islands. We were in a short walking distance to the museum, grocery store, shops, flea markets and restaurants for any budget range. I felt safe walking around with my family in Plaka. Tina was the best host I have encountered. She communicated from the time we booked offering to arrange ferry and airport transfers. Tina communicated with us throughout our stay checking to see if she could assist further. Prior to our arrival, Tina arranged a wonderful tour guide, Ada to take us through the Acropolis Museum and up the Acropolis and Slopes. It was a fantastic and informative tour, Ada engaged my teenagers in the history with lots of fun facts and was very attentive to taking care of us in the heat. It was great to be given so much local knowledge from both Tina and Ada. Thank you Tina for making our Athens trip so special and trouble free! We will cherish the memories for a lifetime!!

The host was wonderful and very responsive to our requests and needs. The property is in a nice location and walkable to everything. The view from the apartment is priceless. Only downside is noise from street from one of the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again.

Review limited to 1500 characters so Short story: we were robbed & owner Tina showed no concern/responsibility/empathy for anything.Bottom line-we returned to apt on day 1.Clothes strewn across apt.Stolen were 6 passports, 3 US and 3 Croatian (dual citizens), €150, jewelry. No sign of forced entry. Immediately contacted Tina. Her response: so sorry this happened. I’m on vaca, not really anything I can do. Should I call the police for you. That is last helpful thing she said. All communication via text.Called x3 times-never picked up.Hours later finally found tourist police station-issued documents verifying theft. Police to apt, said thieves got in w/ key or we didn’t fully lock deadbolt so picked lock.Easy entry to bldg-poor security. We felt unsafe/violated but too late to find other place that night.Daughter terrified, slept w/ butcher knife.Asked Tina for refund of final night. She reluctantly agreed.Said it’s her only income. She refused all other help.Said not her fault, could happen to anyone. Finally conceded to change lock for safety of future guests but that took effort. Will she actually?Moved to hotel.Spent entire day at 2 embassies.US rep: thieves targeted apt w/weak security. No cameras.Easy entry. We lost 2/4 nights in Naxos.Wish I could post screenshots of our text exchange. She was horrible. You’d be shocked.Every other Greek horrified-not Tina.Insisted she had no responsibility to us.Refund of night we weren’t there was best she could do.Too bad for us. DO NOT RENT!
